Niki waits at her desk, drawing a crude layout doodle of the office on some lined paper. There's yet another inked drawing of Seth finished on the other page. Sheesh, how many times can she draw the same dude?
"Maybe Friday he says... at least he has a date for the next post..." she sighs, tired from a long day at work. At least she has a day off tomorrow.

The Sovereign is currently a pile of goop on a chair, with a sign that says "Sorry, work is killing me over here" becoming very, very soggy on top of it.

Niki sighs. While she did remember to pray for her sanity (she prayed to Thoren to prevent her from stabbing anyone. She figured someone with an intimate metaphysical link to her main muse and a metric fuckton of guilt over past misdeeds would be able to do something), apparently it doesn't cover liquification.
At least she know how to deal with a liquid Kat by now.
Niki walk over to the broom closet and pulls out the bucket from long ago. She takes it back over to the temporal sovereign's cubicle.
Eventually, she manages to get all the liquid into the bucket... somehow.
"I did it. I filled α bucket with TT." She imitates Seth's accent as she stands proudly... and then subsequently doubles over in laughter.
A moment passes and she comes to her senses. "Alright... now where is that person-shaped freezer mold..."

a bit later...
Niki is in her office with her blue pokemon XY 3DSXL in hand.
There's a hot bowl of cream of mushroom soup on her desk next to her laptop.
She checks something on the laptop.
"FINALLY! TWITTER IS BACK UP! Now to get back to the arduous task of uploading those pics from the other day..."
She takes a spoonful of soup. It's just barely hot enough to feel hot but not enough to immediately burn. It might add up to a burn later on, but whatever, the soup tastes good. Three chunks of buttered white bread, a sprinkle of old basil, and a couple roasted pumpkin seeds slowly sink into the thick soup.
"...after dinner. The audience can wait just a little longer probably."
She gets back to her meal.

After it was suggested by someone else, MC decided to go all in on the idea of finishing the Scourge fight over Pesterchum. He set up an IRC logging bot to track the memo he figured would be the most likely, "#SBARGLostPawns_ScourgeFight" as well as registering the memo for use. Now he just had to find a good time.
"So, when would y'all be able to get on Pesterchum and do this fight?"

Niki takes a second from adding the graves of dead past US presidents to terrible game to answer MC.
"well, I always have thursdays and mondays off, and I'm usually home by 8 or 9 pm on worknights. During thanksgiving week I might have a few more days off, though the exact ones haven't been solidified yet by my boss."
Nearby, she has a list of those who have yet to post in the antipathy thread which had been in the dust and ruin thread.
"man, I hope the others can get a good day to all show up..."

The sovereign, who has not fully recovered and is currently almost as goopy as her perceived murdercrush, also replies.
"My schedule is pretty random, but I know I'm off tomorrow...But I might have errands. Let me check my schedule...."
She seems to be checking, but has in fact procrastinated and is browsing tumblr instead.

Niki pops in during lunch break with a cup noodles in hand. "We won't have that much longer to say that..." she sighs.
The results of the election last night were quite stressful. "Regardless though, we've got the memo style memo up and running with special rules in place for timeflow and forum comparability. We still need to get what dates Raz will be available for the event..."

~ more than a month later ~ niki walks into the office and slaps a passworded document on the bulletin board. she's obviously tired and should get to sleep but she's gotta do this. "hey guys, especially met, we're organizing which date to do the event on finally. Raz wants to get this over with before the end of the year. write down which dates and times you'll be willing to show up, relative to your own time zone. The password on the thing is 'please', btw."and with that, she shambles off to bed. |
