After waiting for Medi to climb into the boat, Theta makes the boat ascend to catch the girl and the chicken. He looks down at the concrete memento left down below. It was his final message before he disappeared for good. Despite only meeting him a few times after already dying and having an overall rough relationship with him, Theta can't help but feel some small part of himself might be... missing? Perhaps one day he'll get over it.
"hold on! we're going up!" He raises the boat upwards, making it also rotate slowly as they make their way out of the massive crater.
The masses stare at the group in the flying boat as it hovers in the air, dipping slightly against invisible waves. Theta looks back at the passengers, visibly somewhat nervous. "um.... where should we go now? I kinda wanna go back home, but do you guys have any business in the city?"

"Well, there's nothing else here. Let's go...to wherever your home is." The girl shrugs.
Medi is just sitting there, staring at the glowing halo.

"Alright. next stop: the clock tower!" Theta launches the boat off into the misty skies, away from the city of Necropolis. He keeps it at a fairly quick pace, but thankfully not nearly as fast as the last time he had a joyride.
Ominous flying figures can be sparsely seen weaving in and out of the fog, not particularly with any sort of direction aside from "away". They don't seem to be paying the group any mind.

"Somewhere over the rainbow..."
The girl seems to notice the figures hiding in the fog as she sings, fleeing away from the place like they are. She doesn't really do anything since they're just there and not bothering them.
She wonders if Medicine and her could finally leave behind the things that hurt them.
...There's only one certain way they could. They just have to get there without Theta knowing.

Soon enough, the tower can be seen peering out from the mist. Theta begins to descend the boat back down to water level as they approach. ==>

In the city, the bystanders have begun to wander back to their places.
A particular building, with a sign out front that reads "Starter's end", seems to be attracting a fair amount of them. The room beyond the building's front door leads into a bar, one that seems to be in two places at once, since the stairs at the other end have appeared. With the excess energy from the explosion still lingering, some of the spirits decide to get a little bit of enjoyment out of the deal. It's not much, but it's at least better than what most of their slow afterlives have offered to them.
Meanwhile, across town, a long abandoned train station gains some activity. An ominous train is pulling in?

Theta and Hypnos arrive in Necropolis... Paperwork, sent. Any sense of trust, lost. The train leaves the station...
A few days and a couple quick hops back home to eat non-fatal food later, Seth and Lycoris arrive in Elysium. Theta stays behind in the train. It appears to be a quite spacious and vegetated coastal town in the underworld. A quiet moment is shared at the campfire, but not much else happens... until Seth mysteriously disappears without a trace. Where has he gone now...

A couple of seths hop out of a log canoe. Nil and Kusari. The nullsaved one has enjoyed not being considered an existential threat to his brothers and being able to relax, but this latest episode of confusion and panic has him motivated to do whatever to get everyone calmed again. The neckslashed one is in search of answers. So many things he does not remember, important things... If he can find his lost memories, maybe then he can know peace once more.
Kusari glances around the misty docks. "So, this is it. The city of the dead... where in the hell are we gonna find the right building here."
"I don't fucking know, I've never been in this town before," Nil complains.
The two Seths look around for somebody that actually knows their way around these roads.

After some time of wandering around the city, the two seths are struck by a burst of forgotten memories. Nil seems vaguely relieved, mostly only taking it as a sign that the others will calm down soon. He hadn't exactly built much of an attachment to any of the Kats in particular. Kusari though, is overcome by tears. The memory of his final moments had become unlocked, and with it came all the guilt and remorse that prompted such an end. His knees buckle and soon he's brought to the ground, in the middle of the street. Nil just sorta glances at him. "...should I even ask?"
Kusari keeps crying.
"...how about we just get back home now? the bridge might be restored again too."
"IT... IT DOESN'T MATTER... SHE HATES ME, I'M SURE OF IT..." Kusari continues to make a scene.
Nil sighs. "did she hate you before this all went down? If you and her were on bad footing, the gossip would have spread through the tower before. Did she tell you that last time you two were closeby?"
Between sobs, Kusari tries to think back, but it's hard. He doesn't particularly remember her being actively angry at him, but who knows, she could have been concealing it.
"...whatever, let's get moving." Nil begins dragging Kusari back to the canoe.

Some time later....
It is rather hectic in Necropolis today. With the Transformers theme song blaring from so many directions, it would be a surprise if anyone could get any rest in this dead City.
Kusari, drunk from drowning his sorrows at the local tavern, annoyedly makes his way to the docks. He had opted out of Thoren and Raine's wedding for personal reasons. It was Thoren's idea to have him send Kat back to the Lethean Dream the painful way, after all. That being said, watching Thoren getting happy ending would only make him angry.
Besides, he has more important things to attend to today.
Kusari leaps up and flies off towards the tower. There's another one of him in need out there. A version of himself that's actually worthy of salvation.

A great deal of time later...
It's been a while. Boa arrives at the docks of Necropolis city. The city appears gray and gloomy, sunken in an oceanic mist which seems to obscure most figures from at least a block away. It seems as if one could get lost here if their will was not strong enough. Perhaps that is the fate that they deserve. Before such a thing, they have somewhere to visit: a bar known as Starter's End. It was once connected to the overworld, but a certain rogue of heart had managed to wreck that somehow, defaulting the connection to the elevator back home instead, and leaving the bar cut off the clientele it once attracted. That being said, the crowds have thinned considerably there, leaving little but a skeleton crew and a few daytime stragglers who've practically been bound to the location.
Boa enters the bar, not knowing or remembering most of these things, but figures the relative quiet is typical enough, and quite frankly, they're glad they don't have to deal with any major crowds. They sit down at the bar. The bartender asks them what they want. "I don't care. Something strong to forget the pain." The skeletal bartender nods and begins mixing something strong. Their famous Lethean Martini. If one were to drink this entirely, they'd forget all of their troubles and woes, and soon everything they ever experienced in life. Legends say that an antidote exists, but quite frankly, this bony bastard doesn't have the time to be seeking out legendary ingredients for that kinda shit; They have a bar to run. Regardless, they slide over the glass. The drink has a swirling, almost velvety opacity to it.
Boa stares at it for a while. They can feel the weight of their decision deliberating their next actions. If they drink this, they will lose everything: the pain, the guilt, the joys and sorrows alike.
Are they willing to do that?

Boa feels a wave of energy from an unknown source. Somebody remembered them, and has pledged a promise in their honor...? ...What are they doing in such a dismal dead end? They have greater asparations to reach for! "...I'm having second thoughts about this." Boa gets up from their seat and tosses the bartender a boon coin for their trouble. "Thank you for your hospitality regardless." And with that, Boa exits Starter's End. But the question remains: where will they go next?

All of a sudden, voidco agents surround Boa on all sides. they all have proton packs pointed at them. "You are under arrest for trespassing."
Boa can hardly believe this. "Trespassing?! but this is a city! It's public property!"
"Do you forget who runs this city, Emit?"
Boa is stunned. Why is this happening? Before they can even process it, Boa is sucked in by one of the 'busters.
"We got em!"
"good. lets report back to the station and get this ghost transferred."
"What's so special about these members of The Fallen again?"
"Hell if I know, special orders from the top."
"I don't know why we even gotta deal with subject group 312. I've heard nothing but horror stories about them. You know one of them got locked up in maximum security before the old place was nuked?"
"wasn't that one only in the group by a technicality?"
"come on, we don't have all night! we've gotta get this transfer done!"
The voidco agents pile back into the armored car and drive off down the road.
Meanwhile somewhere else, a cold lonely businessman scowls at the darkness outside his window. "If you take away from me, I will take away from you, Dungeon crashers."
There is a document on the table nearby, labeled "Project C U Later".
"May you live in interesting times, my beloathed..."
