As theta quietly groans to himself in embarrassment, the blue rooster can be seen flapping downwards.
Cojiro lands on the ground nearby, landing quite softly from his flight. A few blue feathers have been scattered here and there.

Medi notices the faint glow and heads toward it, kneeling down and possibly clawing whatever it could be out with her hands if she has to.
Meanwhile, the girl notices Cojiro and slowly tries to catch it.
"Come here, little blue chicken..." she subconsciously murmurs under her breath.

Cojiro hops and flaps away slightly in the opposite direction quite leisurely.
[ chicken catch: roll a d6! ]
Meanwhile, Theta continues to just sorta lay there on the ground.VywRIaAr

Medi tries touching it. Or perhaps even picking it up.
Meanwhile, the girl with the chicken resists the urge to turn said chicken into a roast and heads to Theta.
"Heeeeeey. Look at this weirdo blue chicken. I have a feeling this is the thing that spooked Medi into falling down the hole. Should we keep it alive or can I turn it into fried chicken?"

Theta sits up to look at the chicken. Sure enough, he can sense some sort of life energy from it.
"...don't harm that chicken. we're being watched... and a little bit of extra energy might be a good thing to hold onto for a while."
The girl feels somewhat lighter while holding onto Cojiro, sorta. At very least, able to fly easily.

Meanwhile, the girl notices the strange feeling.
"I got a feeling this chicken is magic as hell. Let me test something out."
She leaps up, testing if her intuition is correct.

Cojiro flaps extra hard and manages to keep the girl suspended in the air! It seems direction can be influenced by leaning.
Theta looks up at them.
"...what are you doing?"

The girl tests it out by going around in circles.

It seems quite easy to direct the flight pattern in circles. It works just as expected.
Theta uncaptchas the boat. "You'd be surprised, but it's not in the way you might think. We should have enough energy with the chicken accompanying us to help us fly us out of here now with the boat." He climbs in carefully and makes it levitate enough to prevent tipping over.

Medi limps to the boat and clumsily climbs in, while the girl tries to hover over the boat.
"...This chicken better know how to land."
