"huh..." Link seth listens to Medi, taking a passive interest in that strange flower in her hands. Before he can ask about it though, Theta butts in.
"A classic case of attachment. It tends to happen from time to time. Mac and Chestnut are some prime examples among the seths that had gotten attached to something after death. The former a popular vaporwave song played on the piano and the latter a chest identical to the one that became his final resting place. They aren't always the healthiest things to have, depending on the subject, but it can be useful to have an attachment for the sake of preserving identity."
"Or maybe, she just likes flowers, you ever think of that one?" link seth annoyedly grumbles.
"That could very well be the case. Not ruling out the possibility though."
If link seth's eyes weren't blank, they'd be rolling pretty hard right now at Theta's commentary.
Soon enough, they arrive at the docks once again, and the boat is thankfully exactly where they left it.
Theta hops into the boat. It seems almost... lighter than usual? As if it could leave the water altogether if desired...
Link seth lets Medi get into the boat first before boarding.

"Maybe...It could be either one...I never really thought about it..."
Getting Medi into the boat seemed easy enough. She's still a little cold, but it wasn't as unbearable as before.
Eniar carefully hops in once everyone is settled.
"The poppies...Remind me of the choice I made in that field...I chose to sleep and dream an eternal dream...In a way, that's what I've been doing this whole time..."
Medi chuckles bitterly.
"Death and Sleep are siblings, after all."

Theta smiles slightly, looking out at the misty waters for a moment. He wonders how Hypnos is doing back at the tower right now.
Link seth has climbed into the boat and found a spot to sit down by this point. There's almost a silent moment before he decides to speak up.
"Hey, let's get moving! Time can't wait forever, you know!"
Theta snaps out of his reverie and unhooks the boat from the dock. It begins to drift away, not just from the dock, but from the water entirely. He tries to exert some sort of control over the floating boat. He grasps his palms onto the siderails of the boat and crouches slightly. In seconds, the boat glows ever so slightly red for a moment.
"Hold onto something, we're going at full speed ahead!"
"don't tell me you're gonna-aaaGH!" link seth nearly falls backwards as Theta pilots the boat at incredible speeds through the air, off towards the clock tower in the distance.

Eniar quickly grasps onto the rims of the boat as it accelerates. Well, at least it's not as fast as the elevator.
....Which he's going to have to ride again. His face twists into a look of discontent with that thought.
Medi seems to be alright and stable, despite not holding onto anything.
"W-We're...Flying....?"

 Link seth tries to pull himself up, clinging to the side with one hand. "THETA, SLOW THIS FUCKING TRAP DOWN! WE DO HAVE A LIVING PASSENGER ON BOARD, YOU KNOW!""We're flying alright! hold onto your hats!" Theta however, is just absolutely elated with excitement. There's no way to slow this kid down, that's for sure. The boat is rippling with his incredibly high energy. They continue on their way to the tower, growing ever closer. ==> |

Further and further down the boat and it's crew go, in spirals not unlike being caught in a storm drain.
Soon enough however, they manage to land... on the sidewalk in front of the school.
A fair amount of students are staring at the awkward spectacle.
Theta puts up his hood in embarrassment.

"Now, now, young master Theta. There is no time for wallowing in shame in an emergency."
The strange, once invisible passenger has now revealed himself as a tall young man with green hair, wearing a dapper top hat and a scarf that seem to function as his arms. He is currently using those arms to keep Medi upright.

Theta takes off his hood and looks over towards the unknown voice.
"...who are you, and how did you get here?"
He has never met this odd stranger before, but he seems nice enough.
There's still a small crowd of robed students around the boat, a lot of them gossiping back and forth in hushed but giggly tones.
"Nice boat, Theta."
"We're you that kid joyriding earlier! You gotta give me a ride some time!"
"Would you look at that, banksy turned in his bumpercar."
"You better have some good field notes or else you're gonna be in sooooo much trouble..."
He's tempted to hide his face again.

"Lady Eins'...Or should I say, Lady Medi's closest confidant and advisor. A sort of...guardian, I suppose. Hypnos von Dusk, at your service. But for the sake of keeping things less confusing, you may refer to me as any name you would prefer. I don't mind."
He bows lightly.
"Now, I believe we should call for assistance."

Theta listens to what he has to say.
"...oh! now I get it. i'll call you mr. von dusk, so as to not be confused with my brother."
He looks around the boat, they're still surrounded by students.
"hey, can you guys make some room? i need to get some help over here!" Theta waves his arms to shoo the other kids away... and the boat falls over on its side, dumping all the passengers onto the grass.
Theta scrambles up to his feet and attempts to assist the others. Link Seth can briefly be seen in outline form upon bouncing off the ground. He's still too donetier to retain his form however.

"Wh-Whoopsy daisy!"
Hypnos immediately switches with Medi, holding her up gently so she doesn't hit the ground.
She doesn't even react.
He gets up, carrying her with both his scarf hands. He's straining a little.
"Dear me...She's much heavier than she was before...What has happened in my absence to result in this as well as her unfortunate state..."

Theta uncaptchas his lantern and shoves link seth inside.
"She recently visited the one responsible for the circumstances behind her death. A lot can happen from a meeting like that. As I'm sure you likely already know, weight tends to occur in the presence of heavy thoughts, often guilt and the like. What exactly happened, I do not know and it would most likely be something best kept confidential. It seems odd why she would gain weight though, often times tying up loose ends is supposed to release some weight..."
He offers to assist in carrying Medi with his free hand.

Hypnos frowns after hearing Theta's explaination.
"I see...I believe I may know a little about what may have happened..."
He looks to Medi with a sorrowful expression.
He then notices Theta's offer to help.
"O-oh! Do not worry about me, I can carry her just fine. It's just a little heavier than I would expected."

"if you say so." Theta leads the way into the skull building, carrying link seth's lantern.
Soon enough, they make it to the nurse's office. A substitute nurse is in today, surprisingly.  The nurse glares at Theta for a moment before addressing the tall gentleman holding the girl in his... scarf arms. "Oh great... let's see what we can do here. Any details I should know first?" |

Hypnos...is a little confused.
"W-well, aside from the horrible mental strain my friend has possibly gone through, I don't believe there's anything specific that can help."
He's completely out of his element. This has never happened during his existence in the home he once resided in.
"B-but...I'm not actually sure what needs to be known. This is...This is the first time this has happened, and I have no prior knowledge to things outside our home..."
