Ark shakes his head.
"He grew too powerful and lost too much of his mind. He became altered too fast for his mind and soul to keep up. He is just a broken shell of a soul now..."

"The old man's soul was keeping an amalgamation at bay from taking over the body. It's just a hive mind of dead null users. As soon as I drop this guy off in a cell next to Chronos I'll be telling HQ to send every reaper they got to that monster. There are plenty of ghosts that need farming."
Ark pulls his hood down and rubs the forehead on his mask... with the hood down one could plainly see the man was no more than a skeleton under those robes.

The lamp flickers as a certain someone's name is mentioned. Medi pauses her singing.

"He's...in prison....?"

"Wait, he's the guy that ended the old man's run in the Alpha?" Raphael asks confusedly.
"Yeah, though he wasn't the only one who worked towards it though. There's a list at least a page long, and that's not even counting timeclone duplicates." Theta holds up his old directory book.
"But Yeah. Me, Theta, Nil and Alpha kicked his ass and got him locked up for all sorts of crazy shit." Hypnos explains.
"We didn't fight him, he got beat up by something invisible!" Theta corrects.
"Same fucking difference. Either way, we're pretty awesome." Hypnos smiles boastfully.
"Well good for you bitches. Doesn't change the fact that you all tried to kick my ass at least 3 times." Raphael grumbles.
"Maybe you shouldn't be such a vengeful asshole." Hypnos mumbles lowly.
"WHAT DID YOU SAY?!" Raphael stands up in the boat and glares at him.
"Hey guys, we've got more important things to focus on than internal conflict." Theta butts in. He then turns to Ark. "It was really awesome seeing you again, but we've got a fountain or few to turn back on."

"Prison....Prison for ghosties...Goodbye, Mister Skeleton...Don't forget to write..."

The lantern jiggles a little.

"Let's see why King Dedede has put a stop to the good dreams..."

After revving up the makeshift chainsaw boat motor once more, Theta answers Sponge's question to the best of his ability.
"it's because she's incomplete. to keep it simple, she doesn't have everything that used to complete her anymore. considering what had happened to her home, she may never exactly regain the other part of herself that was lost."

"...never again?" Hypnos looks worried, still holding onto Medi's lantern.

"there is hope for her though. most incomplete souls like hers eventually heal themselves after long enough periods of time in the right conditions. We just need to make sure that she gets what she needs in the meantime. Exposure to good varied company, interesting experiences, and a variety of emotional stimuli are a few of a long list of things that can be spiritually beneficial."

"And you wonder why the tower was such a fucking mess all the time. All we had were ourselves and our old worn out memories. I don't think there were ever any non-seth visitors that didn't get chased the fuck off the island." Raphael looks out at the patchwork skyline beyond the thin mists. Most of them show various starscapes from across the cosmos.
The silhouette of a plain office building sits in the distance.

There seems to be a certain... frostiness about the area. The water has changed from dull swampwater to something a bit more... iridescent? A rather large close-up of a moon belonging to an unknown planet hangs behind the jarringly ordinary office building.

The three seths begin shivering a bit. It probably isn't actually as cold as they might make it seem.

"I'm gonna worry about you as much as I want... you don't deserve all the shit that's happened to you. Once we get the tower's fountain back on, I'm gonna take you to every floor I can access on my own. I'll show you the world we left behind in our passing. I want you to be stronger again." Hypnos appears to be on the verge of tears.
"Hey, we're here." Raphael points at a frost glazed sign not too far away.
