One with the ability to detect altered time would be able to tell that it has slowed down considerably within the walls of Seth's room.
Enrich, being a temporic Maid of Time, can tell this kinda well.
"...Damn it, the room de-synced. They're not even running on the same timeflow." She mutters to herself.
She can't wait for time to get repaired properly.
Meanwhile, the darkness slowly advances, not quite to the hall yet, but getting closer.

"There's nowhere we can run now...haha...hahha."
The hollow lack of tone from her laugh seems out of place...and quite terrifying.

Enrich is disturbed by this. No escape? From what?
She looks behind her and it appears there is a very slowly advancing wall of darkness at the far end of the hall.
"...oh crap." She says as she stares into the distant billowing abyss.

Elsey turns to Enrich, her expression extremely deadpan, as is her voice.

Enrich tries to think. it's hard, still wracked with a headache from a previous hangover.
she doesn't think that darkness is going to stop for anything.
she could run, but where? would it be able to get past a change in timespeed so easily? then again, she'd be trapped in there, right?
wait no, there's still the portal to korous in Fannie's room!
but should she leave everyone here behind? she can't leave Fannie here, she might actually die! and considering the timeloops her work is involved in... she can't risk anything.
but she's already in Seth's room! she's already cut off from their part of the timestream!
How did they deal with crazy ass darkness in those RPG's she used to play...
Enrich gets an idea.
She strikes a pose and reaches out for something unseen in the sky.
"BY THE MIGHTY GAZE OF THE RED SUN, GIVE ME THE POWER TO BANISH THE DARKNESS FROM THIS REALM!"
an elegant glowing pendulum descends from the heavens and appears before her. she grasps her hands upon it and holds it like a baseball bat, despite its top-heavy appearance. the flat disc upon the end of the pendulum shines with a piercing brightness that no human should ever glance upon.
"BEGONE, FOUL NIGHT!" she recites the words of the RPG's protagonist perfectly as she begins to swing the pendulum clockwise in wide circles. a strong afterglow shines behind it, making a spiral of red light around her.
"SHINING BLAST!"
with that, she points the pendulum at the encroaching darkness and shoots a beam of pure light at it, just like in the game!
the hallway lights up from the attack until nothing can be seen...

The light fades... and the darkness is completely gone.
The ship has been freed of its evil grasp.
Meanwhile, in Niki's room, Niki rolls over in her sleep. She could probably wake up any moment now.

The Bumbler sits up, and god does everything hurt.
She realizes she was moved to a couch in the lounge and baffles when that happened. She decides to stick around for a bit though, she wants to say goodbye to Niki (Garren) before she heads back to that Jinglorian Ice Cave to wait for her other group of friends.

Enrich stands there in the bedroom hallway, breathing heavily, holding out that Red Sun Striker Pendulum at what now appears to be absolutely nothing.
She can hardly believe her eyes.
"...I, I DID IT! HAHA!" She breaks into the cheesy victory dance from the old classic, Sun Guardian 4, pumping her fist up and down.

Theta is holding onto Seth's hand, monitoring him closely. Thankfully it seems he's calmed down considerably... for a moment. Something is exciting him at the moment, in a good way.
"hmmm... he seems stable enough now. Might have been a passing night terror or some shit. I'd say he's doing better."
A sigh of relief, mostly out of old habit.
He decides to send a message, since it seems the one-way block is removed.
hey, it's me, Theta. Have you found her?
He gets an answer back that can be approximated as a quite glad "yes".
Theta smiles, continuing to monitor Seth by holding his hand.

"Micha..." Seth mumbles in his sleep. He seems more fidgety than usual.
At this point, Seth's eyes, still closed, are watering for some unknown reason. He appears to be crying? But, he's almost... smiling?
Theta is somewhat confused about this, but figures he'll get over it by the time he wakes up... probably.

Enrich quits dancing upon noticing Katie not too far away.
she's awash with embarrassment right now.
"ehehe... hi."
Meanwhile, Fannie is still watching Theta monitor Seth, who has begun crying. In his sleep. Honestly Fannie didn't even know that was possible.

Enrich recognizes Katie as "that odd girl that was sleeping on the couch for way too long", though that's the extent of what she can recognize at the moment. Hangover too strong to think too hard.
"uuhh, I'm Enrich, Maid of Time. I just dispelled the darkness from this hallway." She slightly lifts the bright-as-all-fuck Red Sun Striker Pendulum a couple inches off the ground, though is too lazy to do much else with it right now.
"My years of playing obscure RPG's finally payed off I think!"
The light from the pendulum is as bright as a sunny day upon the temporic homeworld down below. Which is to say, hard to look at for most.
