[Area] The Virtuous Victorian

The group is teleported to the control room...While it seems that the ship is in high alert. The fabricated characters in the room fumble around, as if trying to find a reason to why it is so.

"Status report, now!"

｢Commander. It seems there is a strange, unexplainable phenomenon that has spread not only to here, but to the entire universe itself. We are unable to discern what it may be.｣
The voice of the person who replied seems awfully familiar.

Kat is a little perturbed. What may have happened in the short transition from the desert to the ship?

"I need more info."

｢See for yourself, Commander.｣

Several holographic screens show from the central device in the room. Each containing a video feed of many different locations, from Korous to Starter Planet, and even some others. As well as a portion of the space around the areas.
A strange prismatic aura surrounds each and every one in a strange blanket.

Both Elsey and Kat are a little off put by this.
"What in the fuck..."
"This is....What is this...?"

Niki appears and just sorta looks around. Had she been in this room last time she got a ride? It's hard to tell.
She just sorta watches the chaos go on, not really knowing what's going on.
...and then she hear's Seth's exclamation.
She's not sure if she's more confused or less confused.

Niki takes the time to examine the screens. Streaming rainbows swirling upon the backdrops of the stars, submerging the blackness of space in the mystic colors.
"...this doesn't exactly look like a Charles thing. He would never flood space in rainbows with his shenanigans. It's not exactly his style to make something that looks cool. ➜"

Niki then remembers something, perhaps from a lost memory.

When she and the others were pursuing a copytier in search of the Heart of Gene.
She's not sure why exactly that came to mind, considering that adventure dwindled to the point of their target disappearing into obscurity, possibly into a doomed timeline...
Perhaps it's an omen of what's to come.

"...Guys, I got a bad feeling about this. Gene might be in great danger. We have to let everyone know about this. We have to figure out what's happening here. This is more important than pursuing a simple timeloop. ➜"

Fannie looks around in awe and confusion. Is it usually this hectic?
What's going on here?

"...Charles? Who's that? Somebody you all know? Didn't some of you curse his name before? What exactly has he done?"

"I think I got one."

Kat floats on over to the captain's chair and taps on one of the arms. Something small pops out from the place she taps, which she promptly takes out.
She floats on back to give it to Niki. It looks like an SD card, but a lot more...chrome polished.

"It just has some old files that aren't really that important. I kept it in storage for prosperity's sake."

Elsey looks to Fannie as she asks who Charles was.

"...He's the idiot that set into motion the events that caused Ka-....The Witch of Ink and Roses' death. He's caused a lot more damage than just that even in the past, so he's usually to blame for anything catastrophic happening on our end."

The scourge... Seth isn't sure exactly who that is, but he has a strong feeling that it was the figure from his nightmare.
The one that tried to attack him.
Thank goodness bad dreams have nonlethal results... usually.
Seth checks the message board with his wristtop. There's quite a few unread messages.
Three things stood out to him:
-the scourge was the Raz of Thoren's timeline
-Micha is confirmed dead forever
-the specific version of his late father, that he had doublehandedly saved from erasure... could not escape such a fate on his own.

Seth is somewhat overwhelmed by this.
He's not only lost a friend, but also a family member.

"...I, need to sit down." Seth tries to find a place to sit down.

"Too much is happening too fast."

Seth winds up sitting down on a cream colored couch. He lays his head down on the armrest and closes his eyes.

This couch was not here just a moment ago.

Honestly, Seth could care less. He just wants to get some relief from everything that's been happening lately.

He wants to go home.

Silent tears streak down from his eyes as he tries to rest upon the mysterious sofa.

"...dream bubble? Covering... the entire universe? Is that even possible? What even is a dream bubble?"
Fannie seems quite confused. She looks over at the fallen heir upon the cream sofa not too far away. From what she's seen just today, he has really gone through a lot. She can only wish him better days ahead...

"...anything? Oh my..." Fannie ponders the possibilities. She closes her eyes and imagines she's wearing a beautiful dress.
Sure enough, upon opening her eyes, she appears to be wearing an adorable purple dress with many petticoats underneath. A surge of joy goes through her as she jumps up and down, grinning from ear to ear.
"It worked! It really worked! This is amazing! Just imagine the problems we could solve with this!"
