Meanwhile, Niki hops back on the memo and almost immediately her pocketwatch gets stuck again. "...darn it. ->" After a moment, she gets a request to contact the other Niki, lavenderSiren. She decides to have a little fun with it. She PM's LS a youtube link to a certain 8 minute long prog rock song featured as the ending theme for the first 2 parts of a particularly oddball anime.
And as she giggles with the YouTube app open, the watch begins ticking once again...
<==To be continued = =
(the room is now a sepia tint, and there is in fact a drawn arrow floating in midair.)

"Well, it was because she did not know what a temporic was, despite her Initia-like self portrait. And then I got confused." At this point, the sepia hits.
Fannie blinks. "...what just happened?"
The sepia soon fades, along with the arrow.
"I swear, things just keep complicating..."

"Could be that she doesn't really know that there's an entire species modeled after her appearance. Happened to Seth and I, so it's possible."
Elsey seems to be posing not unlike the characters in said oddball anime. Her face is entirely serious.
Kat is just eating, not really phased by the strangeness.
"To put it this way; until recently, the only one that was aware of Korous' existence was Chronos..."

"Hmm, fascinating... it's still quite odd though. She did mention some strange detail or other, I'm not sure."
Fannie takes a moment to look down at her notes. The Skaianet stuff and other are still on the page. Others should surely know such life saving information, right? Though the bit about following the orders of Micha might not come across well...

Seth wakes up in his bed. He changes into a suit with triangle shades and grabs his technoscythe identity disk. He walks out of the room and down the hall, going the way he didn't go before. He has to find Kek and Isaac to stop them from making him the adopted son of a seedy shoe-selling lizard consort. Remembering that this is a dream, he pulls out his scythe swings it in midair to open a rift to somewhere, hopefully where Kek is located. "YOU'RE NOT GONNA BECOME MY FATHER, KEK! I'M NOT LETTING YOU!" And with that, Seth blindly jumps into the rift, not even sure where it leads to.

Niki gets tired of waiting for update pages to load and instead pulls out a book on time physics. In her opinion time players should know what the heck they're dealing with before they start messing with it. She has the memo open on her phone. Should give her all the time she needs to read this thing if her postulations are correct. The watch is currently ticking in place again. On the memo, in between chapters, drama seems to be unfolding. A battle of custody, and a battle of a deceased girl's faltering self esteem. A page turned. The mysteries of entropy, vaguely revealed. The reader, getting tired. But, the content is quite fascinating regardless of comprehension level. Niki takes a picture of a particularly funny picture in the book. Despite her interest in such complex things, she's still a sucker for silly jokes. Eventually though, some members of the memo converse and something from the conversation in the room clicks... kinda. From what she can tell, Lycoris, a loli chronos-like figure that was shown off by Fannie on her tablet, is the culmination of the dark thoughts of a dead Raine known as Medi. And Medi has close ties to a seth known as Theta, who has apparently taken Seth somewhere while he is stressed over more things than Niki even realized at first glance. It's reasonably clear why he's been so moody lately after reading Theta's explanation.. But that doesn't seem to solve much about this "Lycoris". "Man, does anyone have a whiteboard or something? I just got some more details on this stuff and it's kinda hard to piece all together here. ➜"Niki yawns right after, seemingly forgetting she could just imagine a whiteboard. tick...

Minutes in the future... perceptionally speaking... An aquatic Heir of Time zaps aboard, on the Upper Deck. (Time gear on the shirt instead of Judd) "3Э --Soo, thanks foor letting me stay a few days, Isaac... 3Э" He pauses, not expecting to be zapped over mid-sentence. Looking around, he tries to see if anyone is nearby. "3Э ...Helloo? Anyoone aroound? 3Э"

tock...
Niki blinks. "you know what, I think I'm gonna go find a room to crash in. Thanks for the mac and cheese, Kat. ➜"
She gets up out of her chair and grabs her stuff.

After waiting for what seemed like hours but was probably only a minute or two, Kalmaro decides to head further inside the ship. He takes the obvious stairs down to the Living Quarters level, and continues looking for signs of life.
"3Э This has too be the right place... I woouldn't have been toold aboout a ship that was entirely deserted... right? 3Э"

A hole in space opens up and Seth jumps out of it, into the Living Quarters hallway! He quickly spots the purple inkling with the longsleeve time shirt just a short ways down the hall. Seth takes a moment to stand up straight. He's about 6 feet tall, not including his horns. "...Are you Kαlmαro? It's me, Seth. How about we look for Kαt together?"

Seth, still with countless things on his mind, sits in the lounge at a table. Fannie, still stricken with shame and confusion, walks into the lounge, with her writing supplies and a rather large cowboy hat obscuring her horns. A conversation is initiated... By the end, Seth has had his hand pounded by a mallet and retains some of Thoren's guilt for the results of his past actions. Fannie on the other hand, is still troubled by the long winded conclusion that the stories she was told in youth were skewed in a sinister direction, though retains her thirst for new stories to document. Kalmaro stopped by and explained some things about being an inkling, specifically spawn pads. Isaac showed up to break the ice... and nearly broke Seth's hand instead. Lycoris appeared to tell the story of Medicine, but mysteriously fell asleep in the middle of it. What will happen now...

(Optional BGM)Seth sits in his room, left hand covered in bandages. In his recent dreams, December has been approaching. In this waking dream however, the day has not changed. It's annoying. Christmas should be on the horizon, and yet it isn't. Seth thinks about attempting to turn The Wheel. The Wheel of Time, of course. More of an abstraction than anything, but still a useful one for channeling his time powers. He's never personally used it before, but he's felt Thoren use it in the past. To put your hands upon the Grand Disc and have control over the date for all around you... To have such great power is tempting, but clearly something that could piss off more than just a couple people if used wrong. The thing is, the wheel hasn't been turning along any axis higher than the hour axis for... quite some time now. Assuming 19 Story time is the "True Time", that amount of time would be approximately... 80 days? Holy shit that's a lot of days. Seth looks down at his hands. His well one and his damaged one. Considering The Wheel is an abstraction, the physical conditions of his hands shouldn't matter. But the question is, should he do it? ...maybe later. He wants to make sure Kat knows well enough what he's going to do. Come to think of it, couldn't she heal his hand? Time heals all wounds after all. But would she be willing to mend yet another injury? Seth wonders if she could fill the void left where so many have left him. Maybe a nearly broken hand can't stop him from turning the wheel of time, but a nearly broken heart surely could. He calls upon his flame from his hand, the intact one. He keeps it held aloft and stares at it for a while, cast into a trance-like state of concentration. It burns in a brilliant red hue. He watches it waver and flicker above his hand, feeling the great warmth radiate from it. Minutes pass, perhaps even an hour. It all seems to blend into a single moment, but sure enough time passes. Seth recalls the magic flame, clenching it away from the world with his shaky grip. It never went out, it simply just doesn't have a physically combusting form anymore. It continues to burn within him, on some level. That is the secret to this type of fire magic, after all. Seth climbs back into bed, tired from his extended fire magic training session. Maybe tomorrow will be the day. Maybe "tomorrow". Maybe it will become tomorrow. ...Maybe.
Hours later, Seth falls out of bed. Show EventlogThe crew goes through the morning routine and Lycoris tells the rest of Medicine's story. Fannie and Seth listen to it and Seth doubts the affectionate nature of his father's motives. Fannie, despite knowing the true nature of Chronos, fervently denies that his love would be false. At the end of it, Seth has hope about reaching closure on things with his father. Kat also takes a nap for a little while too, for once.

Fannie gets into a conversation with *azure on the memo and decides to retrieve her lore book from her home.
With a green magic marker, she draws out a doorway to her room back home.
She walks inside.
Minutes pass...
Sobbing is heard.
Soon enough, she walks back into her room on the ship once more, now armed with the knowledge of the current timeframe and the fate of her planet.
But, what will she do with this information? Will she warn them? Will she distract them? Will she continue on her path to cause a cultural revolution before the sands run out for her people?
Nobody knows...

Over the course of the week of Christmas, a series of events take place. It started with a shopping trip, which then led to a demonstration of Seth's emotional fragility. While the crew was trying to put him back together however, Kat had decided to wrap-up her cookie work for the day and take a nap... except on Christmas day she was nowhere to be seen. Some presents were opened. Seth got a Link!Seth amiibo, a fancy scythe with two cool function buttons, and a CD marked as "babymetal", instead containing a mixtape from some unknown alien band. He got a gift for Charles and Kat.
On the night before Christmas however, the crew went out to go find Seth at the spaceport, specifically the abandoned theatre on the lower floor. He was found after a fight with a mysterious enemy which had enveloped him. He was severely beat up after the fact and is still in recovery. The next day when the crew discovered Kat was missing, they went back to the theater for clues. They wound up fighting another of that monster in a super VR movie called The Enveloping. Afterwards, they found a clue in the form of an ink covered credits card, with the payment history that matched their previous shopping trip. There was another location however to go to next. The next day, Niki and Kalmaro went on a trip to the food court and found the restaurant that she went to. The clues clearly pointed at a nightmare version of Chronos being responsible, though at the restaurant he was reportedly disguised as Seth while in public.
Seth is still recovering and Kat is still missing, but will the crew be able to set things right before the end of the year?
