Seth flinches slightly upon being touched, but soon relaxes, realizing it's just Kat.
He doesn't even want to think of the implications of what she said. He still remembers what happened when the Lethean dream collapsed. The only thing that saved them was moving to another one. This time there is no way to evacuate everyone away from the collapse of the weight of all their hopes and dreams. Surely the bulk of an entire universe's sentient inhabitants' dreams would be more than enough to cause mass chaos upon their disappearance. To see what they had all wanted, snatched away from them in a blink of an eye... It would surely destroy all the goodness remaining in the cosmos.
To live in a universe stricken completely with despair, would surely become impossible.
Seth cries as the thoughts continue.
A beanie baby of a starry frog with a sad face falls to the floor, the plastic beads inside making a gentle impact noise like an egg shaker.
"What are we going to do, Kat... how are we gonna save everyone?"

Seth recalls his nightmare. Silhouettes of blank-eyed seths and kats surround them, easily see-through, but with enough of a presence to seem almost claustrophobic.
"...last time I was asleep, when me and Thoren had secured the safety of nearly all of our fallen counterparts, a crazed tattered heir appeared before our attention. Almost immediately, it rushed towards me... and before I knew it I was awake once more."
A particular silhouette with a single glowing red eye rushes towards them on the couch, odd looking staff in hand, just about to strike, and then upon impact, harmlessly disintegrates into dust, taking the rest of the dead peanut gallery away with it. Except for one, with a blazing red fire within him. He holds in his hands a double-sided scythe.
The red-eyed figure reappears, staff in hand, facing the blazing warrior.
"I couldn't stop worrying about the ones I had left behind. Thoren had fought in my place until he was immobilized by the weight of his own heart. I had to give the burden of his weight to a stronger soul than my own... I can only hope Thoren has the strength to finish what we started..."
The silhouette of the Scourge falls upon the ground and the warrior kneels before collapsing into the floor. They fade as the scene ends.
"The easiest way to reach the battlefield would be to sleep and hope that we arrive in the right part of the dream... though perhaps there's a better way. Who fucking knows..."

Seth takes a sharp breath through his nose, clearing out the sniffle. He then wipes his tears away. He can't be sad now, they have shit to do. Hopefully that will fix this.
"Another way? Are you talking about those plans you were working on while staying at my house? That could send the ship there if there is no interference?" Seth happens to gaze at the melting icicle on the floor not too far away. Something seems to be fitting together. "...Or wait. Niki took a trip to somehow get to Session P using just an icicle and her time powers. All sessions lead to the void. And with direction, we can find the dome that way..." with all this talk of ways to get there, it seems to be getting a little less hopeless. Maybe if they show up there, they will be able to make a difference.
However, Seth is clearly not in the best state to be fighting against an ultimate enemy. Not with how much his travels have worn him down to the point of sobbing on an imaginary couch from his home.
Fannie listens to them speak, mostly in awe of Seth's storytelling ability. Using the dream medium to illustrate his tale? Absolutely masterful! This story is worthy of being recorded for posterity... somehow. A written description with quick sketches will have to do for now though, despite not quite doing Seth's retelling justice.
Fannie waits until the scene fades to begin taking notes. She pulls her diary out to take the notes. All those who are in the transition of growing up are traditionally given diaries to document their journey to adulthood in her culture. Her notes are quite messy, but she can read them at least. She continues writing and refining her notes on Seth's story, making sure she is using a real pen, so as to prevent her notes being erased by the foretold "end of the grand dream". She does however make use of an imaginary wooden stool to sit on. She can afford to have a little temporary comfort, right?

｢If I may suggest something.｣
｢It may not be wise to go there personally. You have all only have come from a very urgent and perhaps stressful set of encounters in this planet. It would seem a little reckless to jump in headfirst into another danger so quickly. While I understand that you want to help them, Commander, it may put you and several others in danger if you go there when you're not in the best condition you should be.｣
Elsey nods, agreeing to the ship's voice. "Now that I think about it clearly...The dude's right. We've spent...I dunno...Two days, getting both you and I out of trouble...And it kinda feels like it's been longer than that, even. It'd be suicide to just jump in there. It would be like jumping from the pan into the fire itself, when the flame is at it's hottest."
"But how long can we rest for...? We don't know how long we even have left before whatever that thing is..."
"We need the rest, Kat. Just look at us. We're not fit to face off against a threat that's possibly more dangerous than ones we've faced before."
Kat seems to be more worried than before. Her thoughts reeling back to that final battle...Faint outlines of figures streak behind her like a mist.
A girl reaching out for someone, a demon who had finally gained a solid form. As that demon takes advantage and goes for the kill, a boy steps in to take the blow in her place. The boy's form immediately is torn to shreds from that inexplicable attack...
She shakes her head, the misty figures dissipate from view.

Seth, still laying on his side of the couch with his eyes closed, listens to the on-board assistant's advice. Honestly, he would really like to take a break right about now. But what about the great peril the entire universe, and possibly beyond, is currently approaching?
They need more time.
"You know what? They're right. We need a break... This shit is going too hard and too fast for us to handle right now. I say we go back a week and spend it here until the Lisa Frank invasion begins again."

"We could try that, yes..."
"So you'll be wanting that back, right?"
Kat nods. Elsey takes out an incredibly fancy looking hourglass. Like...Incredibly fancy. It's floating in her hands.
Kat stands up and takes it.
"Well, I should bring the ship to orbit...Uhh...You may want to stand up...in case reality ensues."
Kat floats over to the hologram hub and places the hourglass on top. It makes a few beeps and boops before the hubs glow turns from green to red. She then floats over to the captain's chair and starts typing on a terminal.
Fannie continues taking notes. She notices the imagined scene behind Kat and takes even more notes, most of them in question form. Who is that guy? Why is she reaching? Why is he attacking? Does this have anything to do with the grand battle of the hornless warriors?
So many fascinating questions... This is the best adventure she has ever embarked upon, hands down.
Go back a week? As in, go back in time a week? They can do that? Wait, of course the can do that, they have the power of time at their fingertips. Fannie stares in awe at the elegant magical hourglass. "Whoa.... " She doesn't even bother to take notes or even take the hint to get up off of the imaginary stool.

"Just a second, let me try something." Seth focuses his time powers, aiming to go back exactly a week in the same exact location... There is a red flash, but Seth remains in the same timeframe. His horns sense that it hasn't changed.
There is a sense that something is holding them all grounded to the present.
"...what... why..." Seth's hands are shaking.
For Seth, there's a strong sense of powerlessness. He feels so weak...
The tears begin welling up again. He can't accept this, can he? But what can he even do?
"Aaaaaaaaagh! FUCK YOU, SCOURGE! FUCK YOU AND YOUR SHITTY DREAMBUBBLE!" Seth's anger is visible as a bright red plume of fire reaching up off of him. It doesn't seem to be burning anything.

"Calm the fuck down. You're wasting energy you could be saving for later by being angry." Elsey seems to be a little irritated.
They're tired, and there's a danger out there that threatens the safety of all existence.
"...Take us there anyway."
"Wh-what!? Elsey, you know that's suicide!"
"We can't just wait here twiddling our thumbs. I still have some fight in me, and I'm not wasting that sitting on my ass waiting for the end. They all probably need some all the moral support they can get as well."
