"After a quick moment of checking, I have determined that Fannie is not a paradox clone. This means you should bring them off planet before meteors happen."

Niki looks at the message *Azure left for her. It doesn't seem to surprise her too much. After all, wouldn't the maid have known Fannie somehow if she were also a player?
She returns her attention to the situation at hand.
"Okay then. we need to find an alleyway or something that will still be there in the future. We do not want to get intersected by a new building, believe me. ->"
She starts to worry a bit more than usual, being reminded that their guest is just a regular mortal, and understandibly would probably die from that. Sure, they could probably call up Ben to revive her, but that's a one-time deal and it would probably be in bad taste to only call him for a favor.
Remembering the last time that happened, she wonders if Kat would be able to reverse a life-threatening incident if needed...
Niki remembers something she used to do when she did time travel stuff back on Jingloria. She would restrict her time travelling to safe spots set up in the past and curated by a specific family or something.
"Fannie, are there any particularly safe spots in this city you know of that have been around for who knows how long? ->"

Fannie tries to think. "hmm..... oh wait! I know! In my time at least, there's a shrine near city hall. Barely anyone goes there except to leave offerings, but apparently it's been there for hundreds of years."
She tries to gather her bearings, but the roads look so different in this time, not even being paved or anything. Thankfully though, city hall appears to be visible just right down the road.
"...I see it! It's that way!" She points in the right direction.

Elsey and Kat start to walk in the way they were pointed to.
"A shrine? I wonder why they built it..."
"Probably to feed that asshole's already super massive ego, or something. Assuming it's for the most obvious person that would have a shrine built." Elsey mumbles as she rolls her eyes.

"It sounds like something he'd want them to build. We should keep a lookout for anyone working for him." Seth walks with the group, fairly close to Kat.
While he's relieved to finally be reunited with her, he can't help but be on his toes with all the potential dangers abound.
Seth wonders when he'll get a chance to rest and recover from everything that's happened recently. He could probably use some better sleep than what he's gotten recently.

The walk there is relatively less eventful than expected.
Soon enough, they arrive at a rather impressive stone building with tall pillars out front. The timespace gear is carved above the doorway. It appears that some of it is still under construction. The entrance is open however.
"Here it is."
Meanwhile, a certain somebody has been waiting for a chance to make a move outside of Elsey's watchful gaze. She's too intimidated to leave the bar yet however.

Kat seems to be pondering something.
"Well, we should go find that safe spot, then! Shall we?"
She motions her hand in a motion towards the building. It's kinda goofy looking.

The shrine seems a little underwhelming from the inside, half of the decorative floor tiles haven't even been set down.
There is something behind a large cloth on the far side of the room, most likely a life-size statue, from what the shape of it implies. Loosely surrounding it, there is a clay barrier of sorts, about a foot and a half tall, likely easy to step over.
There's nobody else in the shrine from what it appears. Not even builders are about.
Fannie looks about the area, taking silent note on the current layout.
"Hmm... where did they put that 'forbidden tile' at..."

Niki pulls out a permanent marker and begins drawing something on one of the tiles. She traces her shoes and then crosses them out, then drawing a small circle in each corner of the tile.
"Here we go. That should do it. Folks in pre sharpie eras tend to be weirded out by their use, so they'll probably take its message seriously. ->"

Fannie is startled when she sees what Niki has drawn on the tile.
"Wh-how did you know how to draw the forbidden tile symbol?"

Elsey looks shiftily around, definitely a little uncomfortable.
Was it because she was out of her element? Maybe it's something about this place. Who knows.
"O-oh! this should be a good time to fix up that horn of yours, Seth. Would you allow me?"
Kat's hands glow a pale light as she readies her magic.
She was incredibly bothered by his missing horn the whole time, it's just that she couldn't fix it while people were watching.
And now seemed to be the best time to fix it, who knows if they would have any other opportunity to.
