[Area] Grand Desert region, Korous - Late modern era

"We get in, we knock anyone out that gets in our way, grab Elsey, and then run the fuck out of here. It's not fancy, but it's something."
Seth momentarily let's go of Kat's hand and grabs the torch off the wall and makes his way down the new hallway, trying to stay near her side. For some reason he feels like giving an inspirational speech. Probably Thoren again. It's usually safe to bet that he's usually behind an unexplained sudden emotional change.
Seth carefully leads the group around the corner and down a dark hallway. The ominous chanting is marginally louder, and seems to gain in volume ever so slightly.
He has to find Elsey. Who knows what could happen to her in a place like this. He tries not to think about the terrible possibilities, but they seem unable to be stopped. It's troubling. Why does he have to care so much? It almost seems like it was easier before he got attached like this. But really, it wasn't. Back before, he had nobody to turn to, and had to make due with only his own stunted skills to keep going. Who knows what would happened to him if Ben hadn't stepped in and became his friend. If Kat hadn't shown her kindness to him when he needed her the most. And as much as he would hate to mention, if Niki hadn't meddled with forces that should be beyond her control, just to make sure that things turned out right for him. Then again, now as he thinks about it he can think about it.
They're all fighting to stop Zwei and save the kats from her evil reign. He wishes them good luck and returns his thoughts back to the current situation.
The hall continues onwards, dark and loud. Seth continues to lead the group with the torch.

The chanting seems hypnotically repetitive, though it's difficult to figure out exactly what words are being said.

Up ahead, there is a corner to turn, which leads to a split of 3 different paths. The south path seems to be louder and slightly brighter than the rest. The party is arriving from the west path. The north path is the quietest and darkest path.
Which way shall you go?

Kat soon runs straight into a robed figure, knocking them over.

"ow... what was that for? owwwwwwwwww..."

The robed figure is just sorta lying there in the middle of the hallway, probably in pain.
Other than that person, the hall seems to go on straight for a little while with nothing else in the way.

The robed figure attempts to get up, they appear to be very surprised.
"a-aaa!"
They seem too shocked to answer and attempt to scoot backwards.

Nak waddles up behind the growing crew, giving the robed figure a once over glance.

"Fight horncult? Easy"

"We'll let you leave, just...Please answer me as best as you can. Have you seen a girl with really, really long hair? She was taken here and I'm scared of what might have happened to her..."
She looks at them straight in the eyes. Not in a way that would intimidate them, but...almost pleading, in a way.

"If you've seen or heard anything concerning her, please...Tell me. She means a whole lot to me."

Seth is gripped by a sudden fear. The image of an absolutely evil Elsey in a red dress flashes to his vision for just a moment.
The one they went to go save, is really the one they must run from.
"NOOOOOO!" Seth erroneously screams and runs away, back the way they came. But instead of turning left, he continues on forwards, leaving the party in the dark behind him.
He can't let Elsey do anything to him. There's important things riding on his safety.
And at that moment he realizes he's left Kat behind. Being tipped at his breaking point with no target to blame but himself, he collapses onto the ground and cries, dropping the torch onto the cold stone. It continues burning nearby.
