The girl seems to have no idea where she's going.
She looks towards the boat as it makes that ridiculously loud noise. Wait...is that a chainsaw!? What the actual fuck.
But she notices something peculiar about the one in the boat. Those awful yellow pajamas can't hide the fact that this person was definitely a ghost of someone she thought she knew.
Out of a sense of curiosity, she calls out to hiim.
"H-hey, have you been here before...?"
Classy, kid. Classy.

He looks over at the girl and blinks. His eyes are blank.
"...Once. I don't fucking remember where anything is around here though. I'm trying to look for my brother. He goes to school in this town. Looks just like me, a little shorter, never takes off his Halloween costume. Have you seen him?"

So much for that. Though a few more questions popped up in her head. She never remembered Seth mentioning ever having a brother...But then it could be more of a relationship deal. A lot of the ones in her bubble had those types of things.
But what was his first visit for...? She refrains from asking, out of respect.
"I-I'm sorry," she bows.
"I don't really know where everything is, either...This is my first time here, and it took me a while to even find it...My acquaintance visitied this place before and I wanted to know what was so important here that she had to go..."
Way to tell him your whole motive, numbnuts.
"A-ah, I'm sorry, you didn't really need to hear all of that...I'll go off and find what I'm looking for now if I seem to be bothering you..."

"Eh, it's alright. I haven't had anyone to talk to in a while. All the others are on some adventure to save some girl from some kinda superbitch and, as I mentioned earlier, Than-oh wait, now he calls himself Theta, has been taking classes lately. I still don't know why he felt like he needed to change his alias. He mentioned some shit like 'they won't let me use that one at school because I don't have my license yet'. If he can't call himself Thanatos then what will that do to our thing? I can't just nerf my alias to match his again, there aren't any Greek letters that correspond to the name I went with."
The prospit dreamer huffs.
"I guess we could just, walk together for a while. There's gotta be someone that knows more about this city than either of us around here."

"A-ah...I see..." She glances away, acting a little evasive. She doesn't want to remember about what's happening back there. Too much trouble...Too much responsibility.
She tries to move the subject back to something a little less close to home.
"Uhh...your brother goes to school?"
She's never heard of any ghosts going to school...Then again, she's lived a pretty sheltered afterlife.
She listens a little more, until she notices the theme with his brother's name.
"So...You call yourself Hypnos in your Dream? The name everyone calls me is sort of...Eeeeh...But yours is really nice." She smiles a little, remembering her little friend back in her own dream.
It's a little sad that he can't find an alternate name just for his treks outside.
She looks around the area again.
It was probably a good idea to have someone with her while she wanders. Who knows what would happen.
"I...I wouldn't mind walking with you."
...It'll be like old times...except a little different.
Well, a lot different.

"Yeah. He's trying to get his reaper's license. A bunch of us over at the tower are into that kinda shit, so it's not too surprising, especially since he's usually the welcome wagon."
He seems surprised when she guesses his name, but smiles soon after. "Huh, you managed to guess it? You're cool in my book already. To be honest though, I picked it mostly so I'd get a little more respect around the place. It's worked a little I guess."
They begin walking down what appears to be the main road. It's just as busy and repetitive as usual.
"So, you mentioned you're looking for something important around here and you don't even know what it is?" Hypnos would mention how unwise of a decision it appears to be, but he's not exactly the one to be telling others how foolish their choices are.

It fits, she thinks.
"S-sounds like a tough dream to live in..." She wonders what it's like to be in their dream...
Considering they don't have the advantages she and her dream has, it must be a pretty harsh place.
"I've only heard bits and pieces in their conversation...She said that someone was here...Like...Trapped, maybe? Imprisoned...? I think..."
She keeps looking around the place, trying to remember what she remembers picking up. Considering that her acquaintance is...She wouldn't really go out unless...
...Unless it had something to do with him.
She stops walking.
"...He's here, isn't he...I...I can't believe it...There's no way." She clutches her head.
Why didn't she connect the dots sooner?! There was no mistaking it now. If she was alive, her heart would be beating extremely fast.

Hypnos looks over at her with confusion. What's even with her? He tries to figure out what she seems so distressed about.
"...was there some asshole you knew that got locked up?" Hypnos remembers there's supposed to be a prison in this city, but he's not sure exactly where it is, or if this girl really should be going that direction in her current state.

She kneels down, trying to take it all in.
"I-it's been so long...hahaha...I don't know whether I should be happy or angry..."
One of her eyes twitch. Clearly something about her broke from the revelation.
She realizes that she's acting kind of weird in front of someone and promptly gets up.
"S-s-sorry...I...I had a bit of history with them...It's...well...um..."
She doesn't finish her sentence.

"Personally, I was hoping Nil would erase him, but Alpha was insistent that the old man got a proper trial or some shit like that. It's like he didn't remember how much bullshit we all had to go through with him. And this was after he stole Alpha Seth's body!"
Hypnos waits a moment before asking his question.
"...did Chronos kill you?" He wouldn't be surprised in the least if it were true.
