Dude, didn't that guy slaughter the entire freaking elf squad? Are you sure you want to align with someone like that? ➜

I've been spending the past couple days doing research on Korous and stuff. This is some stuff I've been able to notice so far: -Everyone wears some kinda scarf or whatever. Not sure why, but I don't think I've seen a single exposed neck in any of this footage. ➜ -spiked cloaks are kind of a common fashion trend that spans back generations. They come in all sorts of different coat colors, though the crazy looking colors really only show up in the late modern eras ➜ -for some weird reason they have these weird spontaneous wrestling matches and it's kinda weird. They're like, incredibly courteous afterwards all shaking hands and stuff and I don't understand why it's so common. ➜ -most of these guys I can't tell if they're male or female by anything but vague style trends. I think every single one of their women (if they even have the same illusion of gender binary as we do) are pretty much flat-chested. ➜ -apparently "take your child to work day" is a common thing, especially with lower working class parents. They usually stay out of the way, but there's always a bunch of kids running around jobsites and such, occasionally conversing with their working parents here and there. ➜ -also related, I haven't been able to find any kind of schools with children in them. I think I found some collages and libraries, but no elementary schools anywhere. ➜
If you guys want me to look for something in specific or ask questions, just send a reply and I'll get back to you on that! ➜

I αm αwαre of the shit he's done in the pαst, but αlso thαt he wαs being led forwαrd by the shittiest role models ever. When we were connected the first time, I mαy hαve not known whαt the fuck wαs going on αt first, but I could tell something wαs wrong. When we disconnected, he stopped using our nαme, sαying it wαs deαd to him. I feel like, if αnyone could be αble to heαl his corrupted soul, it would be me. His plαn, from whαt it sounds like, would be beneficiαl if it worked, or would completely fuck him over if he fαiled. But no mαtter whαt hαppens, he sαid he'd αssist me in bαttle in the meαntime, so I'd hαve his kickαss dαrk mαgic to use.

Weigh in your options. Do you know any bad shit that might happen to you specifically if things go wrong? How big is the risk? I'd probably would have said to go for it if it weren't for the fact that Kat would probably flip a lid if you were in danger in any way.

Interesting. Interesting.... Perhaps they do formal duels. Maybe to settle small disputes? Just a guess.
I must ask though, how technologically advanced are they in this timeframe? We must take care not to bring in anything that may disturb their way of life too much. Er, aside from ourselves. Which brings us to my other question, though I guess there's no good way to answer this right now: How are we going to blend in? Or explain that we're outsiders? I'm not sure if they will react negatively to meeting a completely different species that seemingly come out of nowhere.

In "this timeframe"? that's kinda vague, considering how weird timeframe stuff can be over such long distances. The latest the viewport is letting me check is some point a little while after the Reckoning, but it seems they already got a decent enough space program to evacuate by that timeframe. There's pretty much nobody left on the planet after that point. It might be best to visit during a different timeframe rather than the last one that can be viewed, so that we can actually experience some amount of their culture before it's effectively scattered into space with them. There's a couple different main eras we can probably plop into that seem somewhat distinctive. ➜
- Cultural emergence era - Great hourglass city is built, rough starts at trying to build small communities, high mortality rates, - Great ancient era - failed supertower is built, large ancient cities here - Ruins/ruffian era - some kinda cataclysmic event I can barely view happens here, bandits ruled the sands until they were subdued by hired mercenaries, great hourglass city is buried in the sand for thousands of years - Conquest era - nobles rule the lands and send their people to fight one another for petty reasons, rediscovery of the great ancient era's treasures and ruins. Outlier castle is built... somehow. - Exploration era - Larger seaworthy ships are being put to use, the regions become more interconnected, but still lots of fighting. Also pirates - Clockpunk era - industrial revolution happens here, gear-based clockwork becomes very popular in many types of design here, great hourglass city is finally uncovered in its full glory, most of the sand has made its way to the bottom chamber, panic ensues until an ancient carving is deciphered, which prompts work into stuff like planes and hot air balloons. - Early modern era - the space race is here, but it doesn't stop at the moon, they are trying to figure out how to build self-sustainable stuff but have yet to discover everything that's needed. Seems almost familiar like our old modern era. - Late modern era - kinda futuristic looking, but mostly modern looking. lots of hovercrafts and skyscrapers, as well as cellphones and computers and stuff in common use. Skaianet emerges and development on STOMB is engaged upon in largely secret. - The Reckoning - STOMB is released, rocks fall, lots of people die, but a fairly sizable chunk are saved by escaping aboard huge spaceships outfitted with biodome stuff. There is like, little to no life left on the planet after this. It's kinda depressing to look at. ➜
As for blending in, it seems during their entire planetbound history, they never really encounter any substantial amount of extraterrestrial life. I've seen how those without horns (usually broken off by accident or as a cruel medieval punishment) are treated, and they tend to be spat upon quite a bit, almost babied from what it seems. Those who wear hats, especially hats where horns cannot be seen, seem to be considered untrustworthy. tbh I'm surprised that hats are even a thing with that kind of attitude, but I guess they wear them when needed. I'd like to hear anyone's ideas about what we should do about this issue. ➜

Wasn't planning on it. They got their own deal all figured out. Might give them some directions to the nearest spaceport, but that's about as much as I'd probably assist them. I'm wondering which era we should check out first mostly. ➜
A thing I should probably mention, at least in most of its history, there's a lot more to Korous than just desert. While most of the main branches of civilization seem to build close to desert regions, there are also those who find their home in balmy rainforests, distant tropical archipelagos, wide-stretched savannas, and some even near active volcanos. None ever seem to dwell in the colder areas, which seems to make sense I guess. ➜ Though something kinda stuck out from the norm while checking out different regional stuff. There's like, this one dude who had a fancy castle fortress built on top of a mountain in a slightly chilly temperate region. I think the owner's name was literally Spiders Georg. He was like, crazy rich and seemed to have a thing for spider motifs. He always wore a fancy suit with spiderweb designs all over, with a whispy light gray cravat. It seems like he was a pretty cruel guy, or at least his architect was. A lot of builders on that project dropped like flies when they were forced to work during the winter (or whatever they call their coldest season), while it was raining pretty hard there. It took like, 10 years for them to complete the construction of the fortress and I don't think the remaining workers ever got to go home, but then again, that place rarely ever seemed to get visitors. Eventually it fell into disrepair over the years, but it stood there for quite a long time. ➜

Wait. She hasn't been saved yet!? How long has it been?! Are those people from the meteor even alive at this point? I haven't checked on them in a long while.
Seth, are you allowed any assistance or is it just between you and that Thoren person? And whoever else may be involved that we don't know about.

....S-spiders Georg? That's...peculiar.
I have learned a bit about illusory magic that hopefully we might be able to disguise ourselves as one of them...but I'm not really sure if it is a good idea. I do wonder about their fashion sense throughout the ages, though. I don't think we want them to think that we're really...unfresh.

The meteorfolk were fine lαst time the memos worked, but I'm not sure αnymore. I think I'll see if I cαn visit tonight or tomorrow. Their meteor is supposed to be in α dreαmbubble αfterαll. We could probαbly use αll the help we cαn get for the plαn, though I'm not sure how you'd be αble to help over there. If Michα's still αround, I might tell her some shit αbout it αnd see if she cαn do αnything to help.

Apparently that was what got entered into his name entry textbox thing. ➜
Fashion stuff mostly seems to vary quite a bit between different eras and regions. Also, there is often quite a difference in style depending upon social strata. for the modern eras, we should be able to get away with regular looking casual clothes. Clockpunk, if we're going upper class, we might want to look a little more fancy, with probably some light bronze accessories here and there, and probably at least one timepiece. I think I saw a weird lady wearing a poofy dress, though it might have been a dude, it was hard to tell. If we're going lower/worker class, some dirty old-timey type stuff will probably work. ➜
Exploration era is similar, but a little more utilitarian. a lot more belts can be found here (put away that belt dress, lulu). P much if it looks like something straight off the cover of an adventure novel, it'll probably work. ➜
With the Conquest era, standard ren fair costumes should be sufficient, each noble's troops seems to have completely different armor styles from eachother, though the spiked shoulder motif often shows up as literal metal shoulder spikes on armor across the board. ➜
Ruins era tends to be mostly comprised of large amounts of rags stitched together, with the styles varying between clans/extended family groups. This is the point where snake patterns are really prevalent all over the place, with each clan adopting their own snake pattern. We might want to coordinate and use a common pattern for this, preferably of a snake that doesn't show up over there. ➜
Great ancient era contains a lot of long flowing fabrics, often put together with simple techniques. This is about when the spiked shoulder cloak motif was established. ➜
Cultural emergence era uses similar simple techniques to put together clothing, though with much less fabric than the great ancient era. ➜
Hopefully that helps out, it was tough trying to track down and research all those different styles @ _@ if we pick a specific era, I might be able to go into more detailed research, but for now my resources are kinda spread thin. ➜
