Your name is, well you thought it was Thoren, but now... you're not so sure anymore. You have his memories and general disposition, but are you really him? How can you be sure that you're not just a copy? Are you even a proper member of the Seth template? You've tried reaching out to others using the equipment you can still use around here to access the internet, but so far there have been no replies. You've tried to call out to Raine, the incredible woman you claimed was your soulmate, but either your cry for help was lost to the abyss, hasn't gotten to her yet, or she simply doesn't care about you, whoever you actually are. So here you are, a lost soul without any answers, waiting for a sign. Anything really to point you in some sort of direction.
How this thread will work: -Suggestions and "commands" can be posted here, preceded by a > right before it, as per usual command syntax. No guarantees that this dude is going to follow them however. -If something relevant happens in a thread where "thoren" can listen, the effects will probably be posted here in addition to whatever effect it might have elsewhere. -Any form of direct contact can also be posted here, make sure to mention how and who is doing the contacting though and update where needed. Let's begin!

A message appears on a small screen in the room. You look at it. Perhaps this is the sign you've been waiting for? You make your way over to read it.
> You should find FLord. Maybe you could help each other with your same problem. FLord... where have you heard that name... You search Thoren's memories, which have been somehow imported to this metallic vessel. Women in white work in mysterious ways.
You get your answers. FLord is short for forgottenLord. Charles. Thoren managed to kill him back in the v2 session, along with all the others... All that senseless violence... it weighs down on your soul heavily. You don't like to think about that night. As for this Charles having the same problem? Wait, this is the one that "stabbed" you with that healing shank and gave you that blood/time fraymotif, right? You're pretty sure he's occupying a soulbot, last time you checked. Does he really have the same problem?
Considering you don't have much else of a lead right now, you might as well try to investigate.
Only problem is, reaching out to him. You're not so sure about piloting when you're not even sure if you're qualified to masquerade as Thoren. But the other option is far too dangerous. The other known option being, ejecting yourself from the vessel, and there's a figure posed right outside that would love to destroy you the first chance it gets. You can't let that happen. Not only are you absolutely afraid of dying forever, but Raine would be heartbroken. She's been so happy since you and her became a couple just mere hours ago. Then again, you were being self-centered in your efforts to win her over. sure you care about her safety, but you just wanted somebody to help you feel less alone. Is that what it was? You wonder if alpha Seth was more qualified to be with her instead of you. After all, he is the Seth chosen by Gene to continue living, and you're not even sure if you even are a Seth. She had chosen Seth to offer her kindness in an altered memory nearly all seths share. Then again alpha Seth has the currently living leader of the Kats... you should know, you tried to kill them. Not Thoren, you. You were jealous of them. The only thing that stopped it from becoming part of the alpha timeline was your own intervention. You couldn't stand to see either of them like that, especially Seth.
So the options you can see are either continue living the lie and use the soulbot, or get out and risk oblivion. What will you do?

You have an idea. Charles uses the message board, right? This vessel has built in internet access so reaching out that way should be quite easy. And if he's really in the same situation, he should have access too.
You begin to author a private message to FLord...

After a while of waiting for a reply, you feel something from Raine. She's tired, spent of almost all magic power, and is trying to focus on Micha. You guess even Raine has limits. She's probably more qualified to assist Micha in being brought back to the surface than you, who can't even find himself. You try to be a little stronger for her. She doesn't need to deal with your problems in her current state. She doesn't deserve to feel your pain, not after how much she's already had to endure.
But, your problem still goes unsolved. At this point, you're not sure if Charles even got that message. Come to think of it, if Charles really is a lord of blood, shouldn't he be able to forge a direct connection on his own? But that would mean he would have to know to do something like that. So that plan's out.
So here you are, back at square one, mood only slightly improved, but still unsure of what to do.
You resume waiting, but for how long? How long can you sit and do nothing when chaos reigns right outside of this metallic sanctuary?

> hey you! Your friends are in danger and they need you! Get in the robot, shinji! (Disclaimer: that's not actually your name)
Another message. It wants you to assume control once again. You're not so sure about this. Who the fuck is Shinji? It's probably not important.
> I know you're all sketch about this, but nobody else seems to be taking action and you're one of the few that can receive these messages. You can get back to moping afterwards, but there is a new enemy who has something dangerous on hand, and you need to stop them! All because of your ability to receive their messages? Whoever they are, you tell them to fuck off.
> Fuck you too. I guess you don't care about Raine's safety.
That's it, you're pissed now.
WHAT ARE YOU PLANNING, YOU FUCKING PUNKS?! I SWEAR, IF YOU LAY ONE HAND ON HER... I WILL KILL YOU!
> The enemy which threatens your loved one is a pale child with rosy cheeks and a striped shirt. They have a dark red battery in their hands. Don't let that battery get broken. It will spell the end if mishandled.
Despite your doubt cast upon your true identity, you do know that you love Raine and would do anything for her. You make your way to the center of the room and prepare to reboot the system. The blue screen flickers and the scene of the outside world begins to take focus...

You figured that was the case. Something has happened to FLord and it's unknown where he is now. Maybe he returned to the underworld? Is it worth it to take a trip to Necropolis to check? You can't risk leaving Raine unguarded. She's all you have. You can't lose her to anything. You'd never forgive yourself if anything happened to her while you were somewhere else. You wonder why FLord's soulbot was powered by such a volatile battery... at least it can't do anything in your sylladex.

Retreat? From such an important battle? You've already tried that, and had been lectured for your timid attitude. To be fair, you had almost gotten ripped out of your metallic body by the enemy, so it was fair to say that you were afraid. Also, you thought the fight would be a lot shorter. That does not seem the case anymore. However, Raine seems to be quite exhausted right now. You decide to ask her if she wants to leave. You will definitely stay behind and fight though, since that seems to be one of the few things you're actually good at.

A file is sent to the soul bot. There is also a text file with it: "Hey figured you could probably use a hand with the combat, so I threw a quick library together that will aim based upon where they /will/ be. Your own time powers should be enough to counter act whatever the scourge might do to resist. ~*Azure"
Apply temporalLockon.dll to targeting system?

You have just finished mashing out a reply to a shitty attempt to get recruited by Kek and then notice the sent file. This looks pretty fucking useful. You accept the file. Maybe you'll be able to hit that time/mind hand that keeps dodging everything.

You read the message left by akashicRecords on the message board. They raise an interesting possibility. You could be a split off. It makes perfect sense, considering that's how it often goes for the others, though they often split off by virtue of being from another timeline. As far as you know, you and Chronos came from the same one.
You think back to your assertation earlier, that you identify as being a human, despite having the physical shell of a highly advanced robot. You wonder if Chronos thought of himself as a human too. You have some slight doubts about that. From what Thoren's memories tell you, Your mentor seemed to think he was above them. Not only that, but he never seemed to have any regret nor remorse over the effects of his actions. You on the other hand, was and still are weighed down by your conscience. It seems almost a surprise you even have one, right? Chronos clearly wanted to abandon the persona of Thoren, and it seems he had done so quite well. Are you perhaps, a manifestation of that Chronos left behind upon second ascention? You think back to a story that an alien from the planet he created mentioned on the message board a while back. The one about the backwards worlders creating Chronos to fight the horrorterrors. You wonder how the fuck that even works. An hour or two ago, you remember seeing a peculiar photonegative person. Next time you see them, you'd like to have a word or two. Something tells you that person in particular has some answers.
But for now, you feel quite confident that you're the only one who has to carry all of Thoren's sins, and considering somebody has to keep track of them, you might as well take on that role. To let the horrors of your past disappear into the ether would be a disservice to those that had suffered and died at your hands. So even if you aren't actually Thoren, somebody still has to be, and you're definitely the most qualified to take his place. Chronos sure as hell isn't going to pick it back up any time soon.

> Thoren. The Scourge is being powered by a collection of other players. You need to let the others know this, so you all can target that connection.
