Thoren smiles between bites. He was worried he may have overdressed and caused Raine a bit of expectational anxiety, but thankfully that compliment smoothed it over.
For a minute or so, he stays quiet, passively admiring his dearest while enjoying the meal.
After about his third strip of bacon, he pulls out a tiny box. He sets it to the side for now. "...I've been thinking a lot about wedding plans lately. It has been quite a while since we first got engaged after all. Where and when is still unknown, but I've had some ideas." A pause, and then another bite of waffle.
"I was thinking we should have it somewhere safe for ghosts to visit, that way any of our departed acquaintances can be there for our special day. The Dream Dome on the moon of Lomag may be a possibility." He takes another pause to listen to her response.
"There's also the question of the date. We need to set a date for the event. I'd rather sooner than later, but I understand we will need some time for preparations." Thoren eats a bit more, admiring her with a warm sense of determination.

"Also," Thoren grabs the tiny box and presents it to her. "I figured I should get you an engagement ring. It's not particularly fancy, just a band, but I figure a stone isn't particularly important yet." The ring inside is a simple gold ring. It should fit quite well upon her finger.
He's vaguely worried about the possability of her fainting, so he also hands her a glass of water.

"You're welcome, my dear." It had been quite easy to obtain the measurements on her ring finger, with all the measurement methods Thoren has at his disposal. It's very likely that he did so last time he had kissed her hand, using the sensors on his lips and hand, as well as any measurements he could glean from visual records.
He admires his beloved, content with getting lost in her eyes. "I love you so much, the stars must be jealous... I cannot be grateful enough that you are here with me once more..."

Meanwhile, elsewhere in the town below, things have been going calm and slow. Siren has quietly been planning a raid against the voidco dungeon just miles away from Charcherry. She now awaits the right time to assemble a team to tackle it. Thoren's simultaneous wedding planning has proven to be somewhat of a distraction from this effort, but hopefully both of their goals will be fulfilled in due time.
Shiny however, has not been filled with such ambition as her dear sister. She has instead turned to her longtime hobby to burn time: game development. That's not to say she doesn't still do important things however. As the key holder of the memo, she's managed to organize the return of a particular Seth to this dimension, and guide a troll on the finer points of a playthrough of SGRUB.
Today it's her turn to sweep the deck out front. As it has been for a while, flyers to the mysterious Park Park have been littering charcherry, always flying about in the wind, but soon forgotten as they've faded into the background. Lately the flyers have been getting more frequent, hence the sweeping. Shiny groans as she stuffs even more flyers into a plastic bag to soon feed the recycler in the bar. At least they're good for something...

March 18th, 2018
At the top of Mt. Phoenix, within the home of the engaged couple, a certain someone hasn't gotten out of bed today.
Piles of books and papers litter the desk, books about wedding planning, notes scrawled of various possibilities for wedding things, as well as drawings of Raine in various beautiful dresses. In the closet, a rather nice suit hangs neatly, waiting to be worn.
A cord leads out from the covers to the wall, still plugged into the wall. Following the cord, it is attached to a man of metal, plastic, fiberglass, silicone (and obviously silicon too), and various other things material and immaterial.
A tired groaning noise can be heard, lazily synthesized by somebody very exhausted.
Thoren lays in bed, bound by a struggle between stress and devotion.
You'd think someone gifted with the processing power of a computer from the future would be able to plan a wedding all by himself...
...then again, a feat like that can't possibly be healthy.

March 27th, 2018
It's been a few days since Thoren overloaded himself on wedding planning. Thankfully, it seems he's recovered enough to get out of bed. At this moment, he stands out on the balcony, looking out at the forest and the town far below. It's still such a nice view from up there. He takes this moment to ponder the future, and what it will hold for him and Raine. Will they really be able to live happily ever after? What if someone tries to steal her away again? Even if he already had endured the worst, he still fears that it could happen again. Maybe they ought to move to another dimension, one where they don't have any enemies. One where they don't need to worry. Thoren continues to look out wistfully, as the date of the wedding inches ever closer.

April 12th, 2018 The night before the wedding
Thoren lays back in bed, lost in thought. Tomorrow is the big day. The day he and Raine finally become a married couple. The past few weeks have gone by both far too fast and far too slow. So much planning and coordination involved...
...And it all leads to this. Honestly, this is the best Thoren has felt in a long time. Who would have guessed that someone would not only accept him, but even love him? The gratitude is hard to overstate.
There's only one more thing he needs to do to prepare for this new stage in his... er.... is it even considered life if he's a robot? He was called out for being dead a long while back, after all. Then again, does it matter? The robotic body he has is equipped with everything he could ever ask for, and has the bonus of being far more sturdy than any organic life-form. might as well call it life, nobody's watching. Well, one person is. The thing he plans on doing is disconnecting her from his network. While there's already the fail-safe of Certain Powerful Feelings being filtered out, he doesn't exactly want to be distracted tomorrow, knowing that a 3rd party would have privy into his deepest thoughts and feelings. He'd rather only his beloved have that now. While Siren did her duty well in his time of need, that time has progressed. Of course they'll still be friends, just without the direct line.
Thoren sends his feelings on the manner.
There is a reply. A sense of understanding and approval. She seems to be happy that things are working out so well for him.
An agreement, with a sense of warmth.
They send their farewells back and forth, as Thoren closes the connection.
...He's alone now. But, with such a wonderful fiancee, does he really need such a fancy manner of connection anymore? Maybe, maybe not.
Only time will tell...

November 27th, 2018 Mt. Phoenix
The first snow of the season has fallen.
Far below, in the village of Charcherry, elves prepare their homes in festive attire, inside and out. Somehow, it seems quieter than usual, with many of the players elsewhere. The elves don't seem to mind too much however.
Meanwhile, back upon the mountain, the Emit residence stands above the trees, quiet and unoccupied... for now. In the workshop, connected to the garage, something has begun to move.
Conveyor belts and year old machinery begin to warm up in preparation. They have been programmed to do this.
Christmas is less than a month away, and the Santa of Charcherry has a lot of work to do, once he returns home with his Mrs Claus.

December 13th, 2018 Mt. Phoenix DialoglogMemologA transaction is made, a scream shatters silence, a new synthetic life has begun... December 14th, 2018 A day has been spent getting Schrodinger used to his new body. Thankfully, it seems he didn't need too much practice to get comfortable. "Do you remember the route there?""Yeah. take the tele-pad to the castle, go upstairs to the surface, say hi to the locals, and then keep following the coordinates.""Alright." Thoren nods. "I was, almost hoping you could stay a bit longer, but I understand that you miss her dearly. Make sure to keep us posted on the progress of the mission.""Will do. Thanks again for everything. It, really means a lot. Never thought I'd ever have a body of my own ever again...""and this time, no worries of someone else claiming ownership. That vessel is yours, and none can deny you of that.""Unless by violent force?""Correct. But I know you too well to see you go down without a fight."Schrodinger smirks and gives a thumbs-up. "heh, we are cut from the same cloth, after all."Thoren pauses in fond reverie. It feels so good to be close to family, even if that family is just distant versions of himself. "...I suppose you must be off now. Do you have all your supplies packed? first aid kit? mechanic's toolbox? provisions to offer anyone that might need them? A properly sharpened scythe? A portable battery pack? Solar umbrella?"Schrodinger checks his RMXP inventory modus. "... looks like it's all here.""I wish you good luck on your journey. If you ever need anything, don't hesitate to send me a message.""Got it. Seeya bro!"And with that, Schrodinger gets a running start out the door, before kicking off and firing his kick thrusters. He flies off towards the town, just a few miles away from the foot of the mountain. Soon enough, he arrives at the hangar and activates the transportalizer inside. He should be on his way now...

January 10th, 2019
The Eros Machina lands atop Mt. Phoenix, in front of the house. Two exit the vehicle. Thoren, and a mysterious new person. A short conversation is shared, and they soon part ways. one to the nearby house, and the other down the mountain, towards the village below.
A bargain has been made, half of which already fulfilled.
Question is, can the other half be fulfilled so easily?

March 23, 2019
Mei blinked, realizing that she was now in an area that was not familiar to her even in the slightest. She glanced around the area, and then at herself. She was still intact and still had her belongings. With a relieved sigh, she began to walk around a bit, careful to not stray too far from her starting point.
"Hello?" Mei called out rather loudly, unsure if she would actually get an answer. "Is anyone here? Thoren? I have food from Hepi!"
Hopefully, someone would hear her, right?

Thoren hears a familiar voice from the garage. "...she's here!" Thoren dashes downstairs and down the hall to the doorway leading to the garage. he swings open the door and leaps down the three or four steps between the house proper and the garage. He sticks the landing.
Mei can likely hear a commotion from right outside the rv she has appeared in.
Thoren quickly reorients himself, remembering the instructions he sent not too long ago. He walks over to the front door of the Eros Machina and opens it. "Just a moment!" He walks to the far end of the big rig interior to a simple wooden door of sturdy build. Mei and the transportalizer pad should be on the other side of that door. Thoren opens the door. He is wearing a dark gray tee shirt and black pants. He appears quite jovial despite his dark attire. "Hello!" Thoren greets Mei warmly.

Mei furrowed her brows at the sound of the commotion coming from outside, slightly worried. She soon then heard a door open, and looked that way, feeling relief upon seeing Thoren.
"Hello!" She beamed. She wore her favorite outfit that day, a sleeveless hepian suit with soft pink and purple colors, and with soft blue accents. In addition to that, she had a brown and mint green bag strapped over her shoulder and across her chest, the actual bag part resting at her left hip.
She unzipped the top half of said bag and reached into it. "Now, I cannot promise this to be actually spicy, as I am a hepian, and I suppose spiciness does not affect us the same was as it affects others..."
Mei pulled out a portable food storage container from her bag, made of presumably plastic and with a purple lid that screws off. "...So, I cannot exactly tell. But, others have told me that this dish in particular is very hot. This is called Miixii, and I would say it is a bit like a noodle soup." She explained.
"Anyway, here you go," She hands the container to Thoren. "I do not want to talk your ear off! Let me know what you think."

Thoren accepts the tupperware container gladly. "Thank you very much. I think it may be best to sit down first." he points somewhere behind him.
There's a table with booth seating closer to the front of the big rig, in the place where such arrangements can usually be found in an rv. "Feel free to stick around for a while. it's not often that we have guests up here."
Thoren walks towards the small table, lightly beckoning Mei to follow.

"Oh, sure!" Mei follows Thoren to the table, glancing around the area. "Uhm... I must ask, where are we?"
