Suddenly, a couple tiles shift and suddenly the two of them are directly above the pit, causing them to automatically fall.
After an unknown amount of time later, They finally land In an eerily perfectly lit room with corridors in all four directions.
Theta gets up off the ground and dusts himself off.
Good thing he's already dead.
He walks over to Medi to help her get up.

Theta looks around a little, making sure to keep track of their initial cardinal directions.
"It appears so... maybe now we can follow that path."
He faces towards the east doorway, remembering which one is supposed to be first in the sequence.

Medi follows along...A little afraid, but filled with resolve.
She's gone through so many memories of others of her template that she remembered only bits and pieces of her own demise.
It's a little strange.
She looks down at her hands, holding the mace that wasn't really there.
This is what started everything...

Theta effortlessly leads them from one room to the next, despite the fact that each one looks identical to the last.
"It seems the path is still the same at least. We should be able to get to the end of this maze easily," He assures her.
They keep walking like this for a while, until...?

They slowly make their way forward.
Medi...Doesn't recall much about this maze when she was alive. She was in so much of a hurried panic then, trying any and every path...
The further they went in, the more glitch artifacts there were.
"I ran, over and over and over and over...I had to find him..."
And then she recalled something.
"...And then the next...The next thing I knew...I tripped, and fell into darkness..."

They eventually arrive upon a different room.
A puzzle solved chime plays from nowhere in particular.
There is a rather large hole in the middle of the room, leading straight down into a deep dark pit.
Theta looks over the edge. The hole seems to beckon its visitors to take the leap.
"This looks like it might be it. Shall we jump in?" He looks back over towards Medi.

Medi coughs dryly, very nervous.
She feels like she remembers dying a little after falling down that hole...
Not by the fall, but...
Shaking her head, she slowly moves over to the edge and looks down. The moment of truth was beyond here.
Slowly, slowly, she leans forwards...
And plummets.

Falling falling falling... Then again, they never really did stop falling, did they? Either way, they land at the bottom of a deep pit. It's difficult to make everything out amongst the numerous glitches and corruptions, but there is a dark figure in the center of the room.  |

Medi only barely notices the figure from the heavy corruption.
Slowly...Slowly...Slowly.
Slowly she walks close to them, whoever they are.

It appears to be the protagonist of the base game... but there seems to be something... missing?  Either way, something feels... wrong. The figure stands still as the two visitors approach, unmoving completely. "...Medi, do you have any explanations?" |

She stares at the....whatever it was. It seemed to resemble a little like a large doll...Or a statue.
"I...I don't...Remember..."
She steps a little closer, wanting to touch it, but afraid that it would move.
Noticing the eyes are...holes...
She shudders. Creepy...
She looks to the rest of the weird thing.
"He...doesn't have his eyes....Or his sword...It's...It's creepy..."
She looks around the area, thinking...Trying to find something in this ominous clusterfuck.
Seth was dressed up as Link, as he was trapped being the protagonist of the game.
Did this mean he's...gone? How did he leave...Did he die? Did he finally wake up...?
She doesn't remember anything.

Theta opens up his tome and tries to find any sort of entry that might tell them more about this mysterious figure.
There's nothing on file.
"..."
The figure begins to shudder and shake in unnatural spasms.
And then suddenly, it is torn apart by glitches.
It almost appears as if, it is grasping out for something before something else fills its place.
A familiar presence descends upon the torn figure, bathed in a red light.
In a flash, a vast majority of the corruption is gone, and a link seth is prone on the ground, in place of the empty figure from before.
"ughhhh... why.."
Theta rushes over towards him.
He pulls out his seth directory and reaches the last page.
An entry appears upon the page.
