"Taking a nap? Yep, that sounds like him alright..." Theta smiles slightly. He hasn't changed a bit.
"Usually I try to limit how many show up to my floor just because it's my office, but seeing as its your first time here and the crowd isn't around, I'll let you off with a light warning. It's a common mistake."
The punk boy pauses before remembering something.
"Just to let you know though, most of the floors are probably uninitialised from being empty for so long. Unless you have their memories, which I highly doubt you do, you probably won't find much up on the higher levels besides a blurry mess. Come to think of it, you might want to have your own floor as a home base. If you give me a moment I can help you with the elevator downstairs."

"Yeah. You are in need of a place to stay after all. I'll be right back." And with that, Theta walks back into the house, turns off the music, and enters a room with a crudely written "keep out" sign.
A moment passes and Theta walks out of the room with his cheap robe on and his hair unspiked.
"Alright, I'm ready."

Medi turns around, but waits for Theta to go on ahead of her.

Theta walks out the door and towards the stairs up the driveway. He takes a moment to let Medi catch up and then continues down the stairs.
Upon returning to the 3rd floor, Theta goes straight to the elevator.
"Since this tower is so tall, we usually take the elevator here. Each floor has its own intuitive code depending upon total life length and timeline derivative. It was really meant only to serve those of the Seth template, but I can probably punch something in to allow those from different templates to have somewhere to go."
Theta presses the button to open the elevator doors and Hypnos is revealed, on the ground, asleep.
Theta sighs and shakes his head.

"That's why...huh...Interesting...I...I hope it's not too much work..."
Medi just follows along, wondering about the inner workings of this place.
She starts to think if the tower would somehow show her what she might have forgotten...Maybe...
Before she could finish her thought, she is greeted by the sight of her napping friend in the elevator.
"T-There he is..."

"That's my brother alright. Can't stay awake for too long unattended without collapsing somewhere or other. He should be fine though, this happens all the time." Theta walks over to Hypnos and rolls up his sleeve. He closes his blank eyes and recites something quietly.
Bringing his hand down slowly, Hypnos fades as he is reverted to pure spirit form. He just sorta floats in place as a red ball of light.
"Yessss! That trick from that lesson last week actually worked! Now I can get him to his floor without having to carry him and deal with his weight."
Theta begins typing in the floor code for Hypnos's floor.
"I hope you don't mind a detour. I need to get my brother back to his floor."
Theta pulls down the lever and the elevator begins moving up... at a regular pace.

Medi starts to fidget again.
She's definitely not used to being in someone else's dream...Especially without her colleagues...
She starts to hum while the elevator ascends.

After a short wait, the elevator dings and opens once again.
Right outside, there is a gravel road surrounded by a field of tall grass. The sky is a pale bluish green. A calm wind blows through the grasses.
Theta holds Hypnos's soul in his arms and walks out of the elevator. He looks down the long road, leading into the woods.
"This is his home. An unknown land in the game he played. Not the one assigned to him in life, but it was a sanctuary all the same. Nobody could ever find him here... nobody ever did. His place is in the forest, down that way... Let's go." He begins walking down the road, Hypnos in tow.

There was a strange familiarity to the place...But he did say that nobody really knew of the place.

After a bit of walking, they arrive at a crossroads at the entrance to the forest. There seems to be almost an expectation that someone will jump out of the bushes and beat them up, but that anxiety is never fulfilled.
Theta looks between two different paths for a moment before Hypnos floats out of his arms and begins drifting off towards the north path. Theta seems a little surprised at this, but at the same time he also seems quite excited.
"...he knows where he is. Let's keep going!"
Theta takes off down the path after Hypnos, picking up his long robe to avoid tripping.

After passing by a log cabin in a clearing, they arrive at a massive hollowed out log with a darkened tunnel running through it.
Hypnos slows down a bit before continuing onwards into the tunnel.
Theta catches up and looks behind for Medi. Ah, there she is.
He looks back over towards the dark tunnel and watches Hypnos settle into place.
Same exact spot and position...
He changes back to his usual form, wearing his usual prospit dreamer garb, and the fuzzy slippers he bought earlier.
He's still asleep.
Theta just stands to the side and watches for a while.

"...yes. This is where he died." Theta pulls out his Seth directory and flips to Hypnos's entry. "Seth 'Hypnos' [REDACTED]. Cause of death: purposeful ingestion of poisonous mushroom. Judgement: non-applicable. Timeline validity... Alpha. One of the few from a legal split timeline end. I prefer to give those timelines their own names, but this directory only specifies between alpha and non alpha, or in special cases, none at all."
Theta gazes off at nothing in particular. He wonders how Schrodinger is doing with the others. He then returns his focus on Hypnos.
"He'll likely be dormant for quite a while longer than most, due to being a sleeper, but soon enough he will find the strength to be active again... eventually. You need not worry about him." Theta pats Medi on the back, his hand is noticeably cold despite trying to be comforting.
"Now... are you ready to claim your own floor? I understand if you're not ready yet." Theta looks over at her.
