Charles, it's the thought that counts. Replicators can replicate nearly anything you'd want but it takes an idea to chose what thing to make. And come on, where's your sense of community or creativity?

Charles, I've already been there and done most of that stuff in the past. I did quite a bit while elbowing my way into skaianet as a code debugger. But, after all that hard work over the course of 5 years, just to see it all go up in flames and get stabbed 234 times by the Grinch and his dog (partially because of the glasses), I'm not sure if meddling with sburb-type stuff is worth it.

Charles has been testing some stargates that he found somewhere on Starter planet (may had been left behind by pre-rift charles or something? idk) and has plans to set them up where we need/want them. I think he wanted some help a while back with testing/debugging them but he never really got back to me on that (not that I even know anything useful about testing them)

diiiiiiiid someone say seecret santa? I'll see if I can get back there in time for that, been kinda busy with... well, it's hard to explain what I've been up to. let's just say it involves radiation, magma, and Bad Ideas, and thank goodness that [Rejuvenation] works like a mass RadAway for a large group of Unfortunate Victims that don't know to stay away from things that glow........

also wish I had heard about this earlier, sounds cool. any ideas for failsafes re: on-foot travellers with the exit gate being in orbit? I think the convention in SGA was that the outbound gate would have /all/ chevrons lit if the exit was in vacuum, but that doesn't seem like much help...

@wonderlanddominator Yes actually. The Witch had a magical assistant that was an incarnation of "The First Temporic". Her fury was considered to be unmatched if any wrong-doers crossed her path. Chronos once kidnapped her along with many other magical assistants who served the other hornless warriors. I forgot what that story said about why he did that, I'm too tired to look it up right now. From what I remember though, she never forgave his actions and swore to fight against him.

Now that I think about it, you do look a lot like how "The First Temporic" is often depicted, from the looks of that picture from earlier. always in a beautiful dark dress with long flowing black hair. Then again, it is kind of a popular elegant look due to the great significance, so it would be pretty easy for you to blend in around here as long as you acted snooty enough to make them think you're really rich.

Isn't there like, a way to collect some data in real-time which can detect some important details about the surrounding environment of the selected output gate, and then output that on a console near the input gate? Might not be able to solve all cases, but it would be helpful to let the user know what they're getting into at least.
