"Yeah. It's likely better that way, considering the shit he used to do."
'hey, let me try something real quick.' and with that, thoren runs into seth and his eyes suddenly change from obsidian black to a faded crimson.

"...t-testing. holy shit your voice is different than I'm used to-GET THE FUCK OUT!" and with that, Seth pulls Thoren out of the driver's seat. To the average bystander, it almost looks like he's trying to take off his shirt, but grabbing the air in front of him instead. His eyes turn back to normal.
"Sorry about that. Didn't even know that was possible."
Thoren flips Seth off from across the room.

Seth takes a moment to gather his thoughts. Meanwhile, Thoren walks back over near the group and spectates.

"From what I remember, it's supposed to have benefits to both sides. I'll be able to give him enough energy during the day to guide and boss the other dead Seths around in the bubble to help find Raine, and be able to help him calm the fuck down and maybe be less of a back-stabbing asshole."

'how the fuck am I supposed to get back to the underworld?'
"you can hitch a ride next time I dream there. I'm sure there's probably a way you can stick around on that side or some shit."

'and you know this how?'
"some shit you don't need to know to be sure that it works. Soul linking feels like it's mostly make it up as you go bullshit anyways."

'it better work. I have an agenda planned out there.'
"It will work, believe me."

December 21st, 2015, afternoon

Seth enters the house, nearly kicking down the door. Thoren seems to be getting slightly uneasy from the uncanny similarities in actions.
He checks around the living room, breathing somewhat heavily.

Is there anything out of the ordinary?

Seth goes up to Kat and attempts to wake her up by rubbing her shoulder to shake her awake.
"Kat! wake up! Speak to me! Are you okay?!"

Meanwhile, Thoren looks over at the small crystal on the table. Being unable to interact with most things, he just examines it from where it is.

After a minute of trying to make her wake up, Seth stops shaking her.
"Fuck! She's not waking up..."

'Hey, check this shit out over here.'
Seth turns around to the table and notices the crystal and the letter. He carefully picks up the letter and the crystal and tries to look for any writing on it.

Thoren looks over at the sleeping beauty on the couch. Was this the doing of that "Zwei" bitch he's been hearing about? This so-called "maiden of despair" that's been terrorizing the Kats? A rage begins building from within Thoren.
Seth notices it. His response is not rage however, it is one of resolve. He will find a way to wake her up, even if he has to go to hell and back.
Thoren has thoughts of revenge. If he can do something terrible to whomever did this to her, maybe he'll be satisfied.

Seth continues to hold the envelope and the crystal in his hands.

Seth nearly rips open the envelope, almost forgetting to be careful with the attached crystal.
He pulls out whatever might be inside and tries to read it, holding the other stuff with the other hand.

Seth and Thoren read the letter. A wave of relief washes over them. Seth's resolve is unshaken, but refined. Thoren's rage calms slightly, but is still at a low rolling boil.
They both know what they must do.

Tonight, they will visit the tower in their dreams and begin to rally the Seths against Zwei.
She will regret the day she decided to be a bitch.
