Welcome to Heir island, Seth's private winter getaway, located somewhere in the middle of the ocean, near the equator. This time of year, while the more temperate places are beginning to see the first frost, this place retains the gentle warmth of the two distant suns throughout the year. Map: {large picture} 
 A young man appears standing on the beach, near a washed up log. A lot has happened in his sleep. He had stood trial to testify against his father's rogue spirit, he got to meet up with the other dead Seths he had previously traveled with, and, a figure in an unexpected state gave him a large amount of information regarding his previous situation. Wishing to find out if those words were true or not, he went here, to the island where she supposedly met her end. You can't exactly trust everything in your dreams, can you?
Searching about the grounds, he eventually arrived at the scene of the crime. Or at least where it should have been. There was no dead body to be found there. The rock walls had traces of a faded blood splatter. There was a note on the ground, held down by a small rock. "For preservation reasons, go back a week or two. You'll find what you seek. ->" Putting the note into his coat pocket, he walks up to the stone wall nearby and places his hand against it, glowing subtlely red. 1 week before then Seth appeared in the same exact spot he was in a few days after this one. The unmistakable smell of rotting flesh was immediately noticeable. He turned towards it and gasped in shock.  It had confirmed nearly all of her outrageous claims she had told him within his dreams. Niki was dead, and it was all real.
After a moment of shocking revelation, Seth transported her body to November 13th, 2015, same location. He is now standing nearby, typing up an angry blog post on his wrist-top. |

Someone arrives at the northern shore through flight. Setting down into the sand, they look around, observing a hologram in a tiny device. 
'...This is the place...I knew I shouldn't have procrastinated...'Her voice was small, tired sounding. She glanced forward, noting the surroundings, checking back on her device again right after. 'Looks like there's another instance of time travel here...It's recent, too...I think I'll be able to catch them before they warp away.' |

Finished with his pissed-off blog message, Seth began walking towards his house to get some cleaning supplies.
To be honest, he has no idea how to preserve a dead body, but he figures the first thing he should do is get it cleaned off somehow.
On the way to the blue house, he notices the girl standing on the beach.
His first thought was "who the fuck is here on my island", but then a second look told a little more.
He knew this young woman.
Seth then walked towards her direction. It's been a while since he's actually talked to a living person face to face.
The dead can wait as long as they need to.

As she glanced back upward, she went pale; nearly dropping her little gadget. However, the feeling passes and she meekly waves at Seth.
'H-hey there...It's been a long time, hasn't it? Haha...' it almost felt like forever, at least from her standpoint.
She messes with the tiny device she has for a few seconds. A few beeps and sound effects later, she speaks again.
'I'm a little out of the loop, in multiple ways, you know. I was worried that something bad might have happened to you when Elsey notified me about what might have been going on.'

Seth smiles in an oddly warm manner after hearing her voice.
"Kαt! A... pleαsαnt surprise seeing you here. How did you find my islαnd?"
A quiet moment passes. The waves can be heard gently sloshing against the sand.
"If I knew you were coming, I'd cleαn up the plαce α little fαster."

'O-oh, you don't have to do that...I...I was just kinda passing by.'
She fidgets a little. Boy, has it been a while since she's talked to anyone, much less...Well.
'I was kind of following a bizarre time trail, is-all. I didn't recognize that it was yours.'
A few seconds of awkward silence passes before she says one more thing.
'Err...T...This is a nice place you've got all to yourself here.'

'Fuck, she can follow time trails?' was the first thing that came to mind. Taking a moment to think, he gathered his wits.
"...Thαnks. It's, my plαce to sort of get αwαy from the world... αnd the cold."
A couple more seconds of thought. Knowing she would have no context for whatever she might see next, Seth decided to explain a few things.
"A lot of shit's been hαppening on my end... I just recently got out of thαt comα I've been in for α few months, αfter hαving to boot α certαin someone out of my body."
"Appαrently Chronos tried to come bαck using me. He's gone now though, so you cαn rest eαsy."

Just hearing that nearly stopped her heart. She had almost reached out to grab Seth by the shoulder with her left hand had she not restrained herself.
She took a moment to calm herself, taking a few deep breaths.
'I...S-sorry...I just...Will you be alright? He...he didn't do anything bad while he had it, right? I mean...'
She shook her head, so many things were going through her mind that she just...started worrying. Worrying about what might have happened.
'A-are you sure he's not going to do it again? I....I just...I can't let that happen again...'

Seth gave Kat a moment to calm down. If that news was enough to shock her, she would need quite a bit more time to regain her composure after hearing about his misdeeds.
"...however, he did... cαuse some dαmαge to others..."
A deep breath. He didn't want to have Kat deal with this, but she would have to know eventually. There's no use in hiding the truth.
"...He killed Niki."
All seemed to go silent. The tides had even seemed to pause for a moment.
"So fαr I don't know of αny other victims he mαy hαve clαimed. I cαn only hope thαt she wαs the only one..."

The news was an immense shock.
'W-wait...Wasn't she...' There was a trembling in her voice. She felt so uneasy.
'Wasn't she tiered? What did she do?' she lightly bit her thumb nervously, hoping for a good answer.
'I....I just hope you're right, that he didn't do more damage than this.'

He sighed heavily. As much as he really could care less about Niki after all she's done, he couldn't stand to see Kat in distress.
"From whαt I've heαrd, Ben gαve her α rose α while bαck with the αbility to bring her bαck, if she were to ever fαll."
"I wαs told she hid the rose in α sαfe plαce, to αvoid it going into the wrong hαnds."
He glanced down at his own hands for a moment. One could only imagine what Chronos could have done with the power of that rose.
"Appαrently it's in αn underwαter cαve under Chαrcherry. If you wαnt to go seek it out, I won't stop you or αnything."

'A...A rose...' her words trailed off into silence as she spaces out for about a minute or so.
She snaps back out as soon as she became aware that she may have been thinking too deeply into this.
'I-I would go and find it...But I'm just so tired...' She yawns, exhaustion clear on her face and posture.
'I might try to see if tomorrow would be a better day...That is if someone hasn't already beaten me to the chase.'

He nods, noticing the clear look of fatigue. "If, you wαnt... you cαn crαsh αt my house over here. I hαve α couch in the mαin room thαt's pretty comfortαble. I cαn probαbly cook up α meαn cheese omelette if you're hungry."'what are you even talking about here? Is she even gonna go for you offers of hospitality when you look like the type to put someone in the hospital? She barely even knows you, the two of you are practically strangers!'  Seth tried to push the errant rational thought aside, but it had managed to incite minor embarrassment. He just sorta stood there for a moment, almost blushing to the point of not being pale anymore. |
