Another red flash. Rose vines with thorns and black roses surround him, looking to restrain their target.

The vines give no resistance when being cut, but it seems as though they keep coming, with no signs of stopping.
The girl just yawns, saying:
'You know, calling my bubble a prison was an awfully terrible idea on your part. I would have set you on your quest with a slap on the wrist before...But now I want blood.'

Seth swaps out the scythe for the fire rod and sets the vines ablaze as they continue appearing.

The fire burns a majority of the vines, but some that remain are now leaking a strange black substance, which causes the heat to intensify and spread the fire...If the meteor was prepared for fire, the sprinkler system would probably trigger by now.

As if on cue, the fire alarm blares though and the sprinklers go off from the ceiling. Niki hears the alarm from downstairs and takes the transportalizer back up.  "What the heck is going on here????"She is thoroughly confused by the scene. |

Seth uses the momentary break in the vine production to try and get out of range. While running, he puts away the fire rod, chucks the boomerang behind him and attempts to hop into his Pegasus boots to gain more speed, hoping to reach the far doorway to the stairs that lead upwards.
An old memory surfaces of dark beta Seth trying to climb the ladder and getting sunburnt the fuck down. Despite not being connected anymore, he still retained a handful of his memories to sift through. He has enough to vaguely recognize the hideout's layout, at least enough to know which door leads to the exit.

She immediately tries to capture Niki with the vines while she's still surprised.
The vines have increased in number threefold, now that the area is drizzling. She wastes no time, as they start to cover the entire hideout itself.
'You do realize that there is no escaping here...'

Niki is easily captured by the vines.
Upon being grabbed though, GAMEBIRB is summoned in reaction to her distress! It chucks a massive amount of sprites of sharp objects at the vines and anything near them in desperation.

Seth manages to begin climbing the stairs, but the top is already blocked in by vines.
"...Fuck! They're everywhere!"
He unequips his current items and pulls out his secret weapon: the bomb arrows.
Seth fires a bomb-infused arrow at the vine-packed doorway and it explodes upon contact.

Patrick hears the explosion and is startled awake. Upon opening the door however, all he can see is a wall of vines.
"What the FUCK is this BULLSHIT doing in my FUCKING meteor!"
Patrick proceeds to pull his iron/cat man suit out of his sylladex and steps into it. He then switched to the "JungleExplore" chip on it, causing the claws to extend farther out. It basically is like having 4 machetes on each hand. He begins to claw through the mess of vines, heading vaguely towards the center of the room.
"WHOEVER THE FUCK DID THIS SHIT BETTER FUCKING MAKE THEMSELVES SCARCE BECAUSE I AM NOT AMUSED BY THIS LIFEY PLANTY BULLSHIT!"

An idea hit her...she sneers. The apparition disappears as the meteor's atmosphere becomes heavy again, but the vines remain, yet do not continue growing...as if they aren't in pursuit anymore, and are easily disposed.
'Go ahead! Take your shot! I can handle a lightweight loser like you!'

Seth manages to bomb his way to the ground floor lobby. Taking a moment to catch his breath, he notices the lack of vine growth. With that, he puts the bomb arrows away and pulls out his scythe again.
Seth slashes his way out the front door.
He looks around at the vines and the surrounding skate park. Doubt begins to fester. Can he even find Raine here?

RN was more than sick of this, and being mocked like this certainly wasn't helping. He had been able to stay calm and reserved until now, able to resist the urge to return to his old ways like in the session. But this, THIS was the straw that broke the camel's back. His eyes flashed a very... prospitian shade of yellow. His armor changed, almost automatically, into a much more militaristic version. It was a very polished set of prospitium armor, much less flashy then what he wore now, Prospit's logo was proudly displayed upon it. He wore a full helmet, very similar to a knights, with a brilliant golden plume. Emblazoned on his chest piece was a symbol, consisting of the Hope aspect symbol surrounded by the rings of Skaia, and the words "Battalion 575-A, Prospit's Hopeful 25" written on it. Although the rest of his battalion were wiped out by the Giga-Resest, their commander was a force to be reckoned with.
"Do you even know who you are talking to, /girl/? I am the Heir of Hope, more commonly referred to as the hurricane of Prospit. Do you have any idea how many Dersite soldiers I killed back on The Battlefield? It was a lot, I can tell you that much. By invading my home and challenging me like this, I have to assume you are an enemy to Skaia and I will destroy you. Now, are you going to come out and fight, or hide like the pansy Dersite scum you are?"
He proceeded to extend his claws, now regular sized, but made of fine-grade prospitium and then start heading outside, where he ran into Seth.
