Okay, so some talk has been going on about putting Lost Pawns on pause for a little while (the stuff on the forums here might continue during this time, but it's still up to whatever happens) and some folks want to start up a new RP to fill the gap between now and then. The only problem: picking something out.
It needs to be something short and simple, but different enough to be interesting. It should be something easily understood, but with room for expansion. Most importantly though: it needs a dedicated GM who isn't me, because I want to be able to participate for once.

Sentient Dolls in a Doll shop.
The players being the dolls that roam the doll shop and assist their estranged master/creator (the DM PC)
Every day holds a new and strange thing that occurs, or perhaps its just business as usual.

Some sort of Megaman Battle Network RP that plays with the events of the games, but without Lan: giving others a chance to shine. Plus different reactions could cause different plans to show up, Like perhaps Alpha surviving and getting a hold of dimentional areas...
Another idea could be some sort of Super Hero RP: Essentially everyone having powerful, but consistent powers, but not really able to rewrite reality on a whim, so more like the scale of Aquaman and Captain America, instead of like... the Flash and Jean Grey.

Just because it's the game that's ruining my life right now... How about some kind of Animal Crossing: New Leaf based roleplay? Like, we all live in a single town, doing tasks for villagers and exploring? The GM would play the mayor, and villagers as required I guess. IDK, just some random idea I had...

LIMBO: A place between Life, Death, and Dreams
The land has been split between 3 regions, the North White Limbo, the South Black Limbo, and the Grey Borderlands in between.
The two major lands are occupied by kingdoms with their respective creatures who inhabit them. Angels of White Limbo, and Knightmares of Black Limbo.
Human souls occasionally drop from the soul stream that is in the distance of the night skies as balls of blue fire that land in the borderlands. From the borderlands the human soul has the choice to head north or south and will be taken there by the Guardian of that Limbo.
The human souls would then be told by the King of either Limbo they go to about their fate (they died) and that it is now up to them how to spend their second chance at a life in a new world.

Take the animal crossing idea from earlier and just throw pokemon over it, making a pokemon slice of life thing.

Nebula RP
Inside a Nebula, there is a physical land mass that is home to the Nebulites and the Feral Natives of the land. The Nebulites live in a large walled off section of this land mass and the ferals are secluded to one part of the land outside the wall. There is a land beyond the other side of the walls that is wildly unexplored because no one can go in, and if they do, they never come out.
There is also an island where the Medilings used to live somewhere off the coast...

Okay, I think it's been confirmed that we're going with the Jojo thing. Let's start planning stuff! (and maybe provide important info to those not initiated in the setting yet)
