The Charcherry Weekly
Hey everyone, Mage of Light Nick Card here. Rain is one heck of a thing but it keeps the plants watered around here.
Let's get to news.
Train Updates
The construction of the Park station is still in the works. Reportedly, there is an "experimental service" from Greenbridge to the nameless station "east" of Stratford that is scheduled to show up every 30 minutes. This will apparently be part of the Outer Loop line later on. The construction of the control room at Brookford has been completed. It has not yet been reported when it will be put into active use however.
Enker's Adventures
At the beginning of the week, there was a pestercord network outage for a few hours, which left a number of pestercord users without means of contact through that service. Reportedly, it was caused by a rogue corrupted netnavi that had been blocking the connection with a number of obstructing stones. It has been dubbed "C4Man", as it was identified to be a corrupted fusion of StoneMan and BombMan.
Enker.exe investigated the scene and easily dispatched the corrupted netnavi, which exploded after being shot at a single time. After that, the warp point had to be propped open with Enker's mirror buster as a temporary stopgap. The next day, the corresponding damaged cables responsible for outage in physical space were repaired.
A few days later, while seeking out the mysteries behind the origins of C4man, Enker spotted what may or may not have been "Clippy" (a digital entity that had been sent to my computer once to act as a keylogger) and attempted to attack it on sight. It is unknown if it was hit, but the blast did spook the very dog-like rush virus that Enker had been working with, causing it to escape through a rush hole into physical space. This caused it to arrive in Desertia Town. Immediately, Edwin took chase. *CaFAI managed to shut the airlock of the exit to the surrounding pyradome, preventing the rush virus from leaving in that direction.
From there, Witch of Time Katyleen Kitten and one of the Skyes began pursuit, though Katie ended up going in the wrong direction, nearly running into a group of demolition expert voltorb from Plit. However, this detail was not known at the time and Brae Emit showed up to the scene to wrangle the voltorbs without this vital piece of information, causing momentary protest from the voltorbs. She then redirected them to a more appropriate area, though there may need to be further talks later on.
Meanwhile, the rush virus continued to run off, eventually arriving at the pool area. The location was in well use by the locals at the time, likely enjoying the warmer desertian november weather that actually allows for outdoor swimming to be pleasant this time of year. Regardless, the rush virus attempted to abscond back into cyberspace, but Splashwoman.exe was already waiting in the corresponding area, ready to capture the rush virus upon arrival. Edwin ended up being captured as well, but thankfully it was just an average net that was used. The handler of the rush virus, Reggae, showed up to the scene, calmed the rush virus with treats. Enker, Reggae, and the rush virus then continued on their search for C4Man's origins.

This week’s known market stands in Desertia Town:
-DTA train ticket stand
-Katie’s potion stand (Not available to plitlanders due to regulations, available to all others however)
-shinyjiggly pokesnacks stand (also has a Unity Village location!)
-Timepiece stand
Guild Market:
- Mirror, Steel (5 gp)
- Piton (5 cp)
- Rope, Silk (50 feet) (10 gp)
- Case, Map or Scroll (1 gp)
- Studded Leather (45 gp)
- Crowbar (2 gp)

I think that about covers it for this week. There's been steady progress on hyacinthheld lately, and recently I got the itch to finally update left beef after a number of months focusing elsewhere. Movie night was cancelled on account of no movie being chosen in time for the viewing.
Next week is the friendsgiving harvest feast, which I assume is at Brae's house for those that are invited. This will need to be confirmed properly however. Seeya next week!
