The Charcherry Weekly
The rains have started in earnest, it seems. At least there's always the news.
Joni Captured!...?
Rather recently, a team sent by the korosian government arrived in Newglass to retrieve and detain Jo-baddie Joni, who had been languishing in a treasure chest for a number of months. There was a significant struggle, as two armed temporic guards and a machoke were nearly outsmarted by the devious shapeshifter.
Fortunately, by working together and calling for backup, they were able to successfully capture Joni properly. They are now being held in a maximum security prison somewhere on korous, though it is unknown exactly where it is, only that they provide more than a cramped treasure chest weighed down by a boulder.
A trial date has yet to be chosen, but reportedly a public defender well versed in korosian law has been chosen to represent Joni in court.
Meanwhile, it is unknown if this even means much to Joni, as they appear to have two different locations, and only one instance of them has been detained, the other free enough to converse on the memo.
Further details to follow.
Dungeon detected?
The other night, the Poor 4 were seen following a ridiculously long trail of arrow signs in Desertia town. This lead them to a mysterious new portal entrance. Rogue of Heart Charles investigated with a camera and discovered a 10-seater van on the other side of the portal, presumably waiting for passengers. Seer of Space Jessica used her powers and was able to detect that it is somehow some sort of dungeon, but was not given much privy beyond that.
It is currently planned that a team of dungeon crashers will enter the portal early on monday.
Three Grasses 'n bugs
Page of Mind Samm has been continuing her work on Grass 3, having recently added bugs where there were none before. Prince of Heart Red has also been performing manual labor on Grass 3 as of late, presumably waiting for the odd squad to resume their questing. The work ahead appears long and arduous, but with enough help, Grass 3 will one day be a great place with a thriving ecosystem.
This week’s known market stands in Desertia Town:
-Katie’s potion stand (Not available to plitlanders due to regulations, available to all others however)
-shinyjiggly pokesnacks stand (ran by Rufus)
-Samm's noodle stand
-On-the-road food store:
--Meal, common (3 sp/15 credits)
--Rations, Wandermeal (per serving) (1 cp/5 credits)
-Tailor shop:
--Sack (1 cp/3 credits)
--Clothes, Common (5 sp/20 credits)
--Bedroll (1 gp/50 credits)
--Backpack (2 gp/75 credits)
That about does it for this week. Progress seems to be steady and on-schedule with the flash animation. It should be finished within the upcoming month. Do be warned that it will be quite graphic at times. Hopefully my counterpart in the pinto region will contact the memo soon, because they haven't replied to two different pings over here!
