The Charcherry Weekly
Heya everyone, Mage of light Nick Card here. You know a game engine company has screwed up badly when a village that just so happens to have the same name as it considers changing names for a hot second. Lets get onto some actual news though.
Early this week, Witch of Heart Cyrus was seen practicing some form of martial arts in their front yard. They had managed to accidentally kick the mailbox quite a distance, much to their surprise. However, before they could repair it, a certain mischievous Fowlent managed to take it. It is unknown if they will ever get their mailbox back.
In other news, it seems that the local wild pokemon have been getting stronger lately... again. How in the heck is anyone supposed to be able to train their own pokemon without getting destroyed around here, in a village where most kids get their starter pokemon??
At some point this week, Rogue of Heart Charles had finally managed to visit the version of HAZEL that they had intended to visit in the first place. In the process of this meeting, they dropped off a communicator brick to allow for a more standard method of correspondence while on the road. After this, Charles returned home.
Later on this week, HAZEL managed to defeat gym leader Blaine and Blue, earning each of their gym badges. It is unknown if she obtained the badges in intended order or if she has the full kanto set now. Regardless, this will be confirmed next week.
With the recent release of new DLC for the most recent pokemon games, it has resulted in its additions also taking place in its reachable counterpart worlds.
As a result, Prolific Trainer Brae Emit has recently been called upon attending a field trip to a place far beyond the Paldea region, and has caught so many different types of pokemon that she now has a shiny charm. She also has caught a number of impressive pokemon, including the recently discovered blood moon forme ursaluna.
The odd squad has recently departed from Shoreport, following an occurrence that would best not be elaborated upon, but prompted an expedited trip back to Ironways. Beyond this, they have done minimal of note, while waiting for the effects of the crystal of uplifting to end for Prince of Heart Red. Reportedly she has successfully reconnected to Ultimate Samm, and therefore is no longer at risk of permadeath as she was earlier. It is unknown when the odd squad will resume their trip to Phandalin, but it is clear that they need a break from adventuring for the time being.
Meanwhile, Netnavi Enker has successfully made it back home, after a days-long trip via trading caravan. It seems that Chawishe is becoming a hot-spot for trade, due to its proximity to the magical doorway that leads to the more modern Desertia town.
There has been reports that the Page of Darkness is currently holding an online QnA session that seems to have taken a very strange turn. It seems that a great number of question askers have manifested physically in proximity to him for an unknown reason. This does not appear to be a normal effect, and it is unknown how it will have any significant impact. Hyacinth, hang on over there and continue to offer updates on the situation.
This week’s known market stands in Desertia Town:
-Katie’s potion stand (*CaFAI filling in for Katie when unavailable)
-shinyjiggly pokesnacks stand (ran by Rufus)
-Invisible ink stand (25 gp/50 credits)
-Live Chickens stand (10 gp/100 credits)
-Honey stand (1 gp/ 10 credits)
I think that about does it. Page of Mind Samm has been working on grass 3 lately, the mech-vees are out and about lately, and your dear newsletter writer has gotten some significant progress on the flash animation. I can only assume that next week will be just as scattershot as this one.
