The Charcherry Weekly
There is an adorable mechanical eevee in my lap and it has been one heck of a week. This is Mage of Light Nick Card reporting from Unity village. Let's begin.
Heeere's Johnny!
Earlier this week, Jo-squad leader Johnny finished his forced vacation away from his group, but not before encountering some complications. It started when he was reportedly practicing archery topless near the entrance to Desertia town. An arrow got too close to Rogue of Heart Charles, and they replied with barely restrained anger. After blatantly showing off with trick shots and a larger bow, Johnny was seen giving Prince of Time Flux Emit a blanket on the roof of Gene's Garden. However, because she was intoxicated at the time, she almost fell off the roof in confusion. Fortunately, Johnny was able to catch her, but injured his shoulder as a result. Johnny received medical attention shortly after that. The next day, he reportedly returned to Voidco HQ, having been told of the trouble his group had been up to while he was unable to lead them. According to further reports, Page of darkness Dylan was given a great deal of stress, having been tasked with sorting out the mess himself in Johnny's absence.
In other news however, it has been officially revealed that all known members of the Jo-squad have some sort of genetic relation to Page of Rage Jovin. It is still unknown why or how, but the resemblance is clearly present in one way or another. Jovin may or may not still be recovering from this revelation.
March of the Mecha-vees
Just the other day, Little Beepo, the mechanical eevee in my care, began making strange movements while facing a window, setting off my lighty senses. Not knowing it at the time, your dear newsletter writer went to the library for a while to try and work off the headache. It did not wear off. Meanwhile, hundreds of mech-vees picked up the signal, en route to Unity village. Upon arriving, they caused various minor damages and grievances, but were largely harmless.
Eventually however, after a great deal of chaos, I managed to find someone with a capture styler to round up the mech-vees with temporarily, while waiting for the member of the Jo-squad that built them to show up. Unity Gym leader Jovin sloppily captured a number of mech-vees, with my assistance in providing direction. We found the vast majority of them in Unity village town hall, and lead them to the front yard of my cabin, until tank treads began to echo in the air. My sibling and the mayor's assistant, Prince of Time Aeons Edgeworth, too it upon themself to investigate with Jovin's wife, Page of Mind Samm.
Upon arriving at the front of town, they discovered a large motor home on Unity Bridge, and the member of the Jo-squad known as Jojo. He angerly complained while searching for the mech-vees, immediately losing the trust of Aeons and Samm, as he failed to respect his own creations. Aeons claimed that the mech-vees had claimed asylum in unity, and that they did not want to return home with him. Meanwhile, Feral Champion Trainer HAZEL and toa Bota were reportedly doing damage to Unity Bridge, supposedly in an attempt to slam Jojo's house into the river below (though I do wonder if HAZEL realized that it would possibly cause a major river blockage and likely impact the habitat of the aquatic pokemon that live down there).
After seeing the mess in the making on Unity Bridge, Flux Emit hit the undo button on the bridge, turned 360 degrees, and walked away back to Desertia, eventually cutting off communication with the rest of the dungeon crashers in frustration.
Meanwhile, a final actor arrived on the scene. Heart Container Network server Gracidea Emit stood before Jojo, having witnessed the happenings in the village. They stated their willingness to repair the mech-vees that needed repairing and that seemed to convince Jojo to leave peacefully, though not without stating his desire to "fix" the cosmos, gaining even more anger from the general public upon exiting the village. While the village may be in need of major cleaning, the mech-vees are free to roam as they choose, this time with less desire to cause chaos.
Little Beepo is still at home over here though, continuing their goal of collecting data and knowledge of creation in order to one day perhaps understanding the creator. I wonder if Little Beepo knows that starter planet was literally made by the SBARGv2 players, and that the pokemon upon it were a blessing from Arceus The Original One.
A Busy Day
Today in particular has been a lot to handle. First of all, Gracidea Emit, having been repairing the five damaged mech-vees, wound up discovering a strange new plant/fungus/projector(?) growing in the garage, with investigation assistance from Heir of Breath June Egbert. It is unknown what properties it holds.
Later on, Rogue of Heart Charles reportedly showed up to Flux Emit's house with a sword, with intent to kill Johnny for simply being present there. Charles was sent to the hospital to be treated for glass injuries. Meanwhile, Korosian President Heir of Time Thoren Emit made their way towards Flux's house to check up on her, only to be spooked by a beer bottle breaking. With assistance from Bounty Hunter Samus Kitten, the door to Flux's house was opened, though it took a moment for the situation to be settled. It turned out that Charles was at fault and that Johnny was just visiting, and Flux was incredibly drunk. Charles has been put under watch while in the hospital, as it is assumed that they are in a heightened state of irritation, especially since after the mysterious explosion on his birthday.
This week’s known market stands in Desertia Town:
-Katie’s potion stand (*CaFAI filling in for Katie when unavailable)
-shinyjiggly pokesnacks stand (ran by Rufus)
That should wrap it up enough. I got sidetracked this week by a mapping competition on rmn, but hopefully next week I can focus on more important things, such as trying to improve my librarian skills.
