The Charcherry Weekly
Hello everyone, Mage of Light Nick Card here. Its getting warmer outside lately, and the campaign is heating up too. Let's get to this.
MSPFA is Back!
Early this week, popular webcomic hosting website mspfa.com finally resumed normal operations, allowing users to edit and create their webcomics on the platform once more. It has been quite a few months of waiting, but with the patience of the userbase and other avenues for adventures, the wait was made quite bearable.
Because of the current wait for a flash animation that is in the works, your dear newsletter writer is staggering the upload of new pages made during the wait period at a rate of three per day. None Pizza with Left Beef should have enough backlog new pages to last at least a few weeks.
Where do Gates Come From?
On monday, Rogue of Heart Charles lead a small party to the location of a distant gate address that was locked in a distant memory. There was some mild exploration of the location, which appeared to have significance to a number of timeloops.
Reportedly, it is a space station with the capability to track and deploy stargates to distant locations across the tadpole galaxy. At some point, the Poor 4 somehow climbed out of the phone belonging to Prince of Time Aeons Edgeworth. Their appearances alone was enough to cause turrets to take aim at them. Fortunately, no shots were fired by the turrets. Bounty hunter Samus Kitten managed to locate the impressively large gate shooting gun.
Witch of Time Katyleen Kitten decided to undertake the role of completing a number of gate delivery missions using this facility, supplied with gates manufactured by the gate factory somewhere on Starter Planet. Exact locations are kept confidential for the sake of avoiding complications to the mission at hand.
Captured in Time
This week, Presidential Candidate Heir of Time Thoren Emit and their party arrived at the site of Alcove, an underground city near the edge of the Oasis Strip. Reportedly, Thoren was knocked unconscious upon initial entry into Alcove, and was quickly captured. Heir of Breath June Egbert, Lord of Rage Raine Emit, and Endcroak Mayor Spades Slick were also captured, but were sent to other cities along the route of the Grand Tour.
Prince of Time Flux Emit and Toa Bota descended into Alcove to rescue Thoren. Upon entering the subterranean town, they were greeted by the curious sight of a soda stand of conflicting reports. To some it appeared to be coca cola, while to others it appeared to be a knock-off brand known as Voidcoke. Reportedly however, its actually Crystal Pepsi inside of the cans. Regardless, it was quite clear that there was a voidco presence in this town, as flyers for Dylan were spotted all over the place.
Flux managed to attract the attention of the town's security measures and was able to outdo any attempts against her via time powers. After fending off guards for a while, Raine appeared, having reportedly escaped from captivity in Snake's Mouth and traveled all the way back to Alcove to rescue her partner. However, Flux had claimed this mission as her own, claiming responsibility for the safety of her sibling. Together they intimidated a voidco agent until they agreed to cooperate. Promised safety from retaliation in return for allowing the rescue of the captured parties, the agent formally quit and lead the party to the local jail, where Thoren was being held. Thoren was released, having been detained originally for reasons related to rumors that were spread about them by voidco. Having been absolved of these charges, Thoren was let out and reunited with their family.
After a few days for recovery, Thoren returned to Alcove with Flux on guard. There was no incident this time, and Thoren was able to successfully make a stump speech down there. During the speech, a timeclone appeared to drop off an information terminal before disappearing once more. Reportedly, an expedition to the Northern Frigid Archives will need to be completed, in order to obtain a copy of all digital records being kept there. Apparently it is the counterpart to the Grand Archives, once kept by the Seer of Time, however that location is not available, hence why the northern location is being sought out.
To dungeon crashers willing to take on this important mission, meetup will be at Fort Aspara on Thursday, 5pm Desertian Time.
As for Thoren and the others, they have continued onward to the Grand Nursery, to rescue Spades Slick. According to the ex agent, the holding locations each have a mini dungeon core installed, which work to subdue the occupant to a degree.
Reportedly, a rescue will be attempted soon from this location.
Other Occurrences
Since the recently reverse-isekai'd visitor was hospitalized, Warlock-Wizard Grey has been camping in Desertia Town. Reportedly, they are from the same discontinued realm. There are also reports of a makuhita that has been dutifully waiting for the hospitalized patient.
Meanwhile, Gym Leader Jovin Castle has been gifted a pair of stylish goggles, which apparently means that he's apparently been marked as the leader of the "digi-destined" of our group. He is understandably hesitant to take up this title, especially with how busy he is with his pokemon gym, and the difficulties with getting his own pokemon past a plateau in their own training, while also training Agumon.
This week’s known market stands in Desertia Town:
-Katie’s potion stand (*CaFAI filling in for Katie when unavailable)
-shinyjiggly pokesnacks stand (ran by Rufus)
I think that covers everything for now. I took a nap earlier, but I need to get back to bed soon. I've got a trip to prepare for soon.
See you all next week!
