The Charcherry Weekly
Hello everyone, Mage of Light Nick card here. I'm not used to these warmer spring days, its too bright and I don't care of I would normally get some kinda boost from direct sunlight, I prefer overcast days and indoor lighting. Let's begin.
At the beginning of the week, Heir of Time Thoren Emit publicly announced in the memo their intention to run for president of planet korous, a large sandy world in a distant galaxy sparsely populated by temporics. Korous had previously endured The Reckoning after the game of STOMB and those who live there are largely imported from a time before but very close to the falling of the meteors that ended the recognizably modern era.
A few days later, a new visitor showed up in Gene's Garden, and it happened to be Plok, the mascot of a highly sophisticated but somewhat obscure snes platformer. He reportedly performed a number of cartoonish antics in the company of some regulars at the bar, and claimed to have been slumbering for over 30 years, evident in the dated nature of some of his references.
Shortly after this, the partly largely shuffled towards korous, specifically Fort Aspara. Plok reportedly joined the group on this. This day happened to be the day that Heir of Time Thoren Emit held a rally for the kick-off of their korosian presidential campaign. The crowd in Aspara was quite large, despite the amount of people that had moved from here a while back.
The presentation seemed to go well, until a spaceship, apparently both creepy and wet, arrived with a large screen. Upon this screen, Voidco CEO Page of Void Dylan showed up, disguised as a temporic. He announced his own bid for the presidency, prompting insults and straight up raw truths to be hurled at him. Thoren then challenged him to a duel of the people's choice (because apparently you can contrive any contest into a duel over there), with the winner to be determined at the end of the month of may.
Thoren has stated that they will be traveling to each of the major settlements that have been established in this age in order to gain support. Fort Aspara, Endcroak City, The Oasis Strip, Alcove, The Grand Nursery, Newglass, and Snake's Mouth are the names of all the known places that will be visited.
With this goal in mind, Thoren has taken off on the Grand Tour. For the sake of their safety, minimal details will be given regarding this, as it has been made apparent that Thoren has at least four assassins after them at this time.
Apparently, there is a very high chance that those after Thoren were recently recruited and subsequently sent by voidco, as evident from a since dismantled phone booth right outside Desertia town, and a copy of a contract that Bota was able to take a picture of after reportedly running into them in the middle of a korosian desert.
As of writing, Thoren has moved on from Aspara and onto the next town. They hope to gain favor from local officials and other locals. Best of luck!
This week’s known market stands in Desertia Town:
-Katie’s potion stand (*CaFAI filling in for Katie when unavailable)
-shinyjiggly pokesnacks stand (ran by Rufus)
I believe that's all for this week, as least in terms of that in which needs to be known. Goodnight!
