The Charcherry Weekly
Hello, Mage of Light Nick Card here. I forgot how much I miss cold and moderately dry weather. It's so nice to be toasty inside while it's brisk and cold outside.
Remember Remember the 5th of November
At the beginning of this week, Heir of Time Rise Emit observed their 25th birthday. I am unsure of their sister, Brae Emit's age, due to possible furthest ring time weirdness and red rift factors, but it was also her birthday that day as well. Heir of Time Thoren Emit was also wished a happy birthday, but they refused to celebrate it, on account of being attached to the fact that they are technically not alive.
Rise wound up getting a number of knitted items from their sister, a time-locked copy of Sonic Frontiers (which unlocked upon the official release of the game) from Rogue of Heart Charles, and a scythe that temporarily lowers the pitch of the user's voice from Page of Rage Jovin Castle. Charles also got Brae a pair of electromagnet mittens that can move a copper ball at impressive speeds. Meanwhile, Thoren spent much of the day finalizing the building and furnishing of miracle child Shard Emit's bedroom.
Also, an additional "gift" was reportedly sent to Rise, apparently being a particularly radioactive captchalogued object. Charles disposed of it by request before it could be retrieved by anyone else. It is assumed that Voidco CEO Page of Void Dylan had sent that particular present, made more plausible after reports of his actions in Hyacinth's timeline were shared. Because of the graphic and highly sensitive content of that report, it will not be published here.
I would not be surprised if the page was issued a restraining order after that point.
The next day, Samus Kitten baked a variety of treats, sending some plates to both Rise and Brae. There was a degree of worry regarding her health, as one of the key ingredients is one that she is particularly allergic to. Nearly all her friends scolded her for putting herself in danger for the sake of baked goods. She was thanked for her efforts however.
Eating Time
The other day, my perpetually lounging slopoke, Slope, had been acting strange. Assuming she had eaten something she shouldn't have, I took her to the local pokemon center, ran by Nurse Eden. They quickly got to work to retrieve whatever Slope may have ingested. Apparently there was quite a struggle, from what I could hear, but Eden emerged victorious. Apparently, Slope had eaten Prince of Time Aeons Edgeworth's pocketwatch, known for remaining intact as long as the current timeline is the alpha timeline. It is unknown if damaging the glass of the pocketwatch would be enough to endanger the current timeline, but I am very glad the watch emerged intact. Like sure, there was a great deal of slobber, but Aeons was able to wash it off properly after the got it back.
Eden was thanked for their efforts.
An Offer that Cannot be Refused
Earlier today, Seer of Space Jessica showed up to the memo with a letter sent to her, apparently from voidco. Reportedly, Jessica's girlfriend, Ellie, had been "relocated" (read as: kidnapped) to a "resource extraction center" (read as: voidco dungeon), located in a casino in the little derse district. I assume that place is located somewhere in Neon City, since casinos are reportedly somewhat common there. A meet-up has been scheduled on monday, November 14th, at Desertia labs, for any dungeon crasher that wishes to join Jessica and the others on a quest to tackle the dungeon and rescue the expected captive.
I think I'll sit this one out, I'm not one much for casinos and their overstimulating ambiance. I don't care if I'd be able to save up enough luck to dominate the slots and tables, I ain't interested.
This week’s known market stands in Desertia Town:
-Whipped Cream stand (this week)
-Mini Portrait Photo Keychain stand (this week)
-Katie's potion stand (*CaFAI filling in for Katie when unavailable)
-Brae's canned goods stand (unknown if it is running currently)
-shinyjiggly pokesnacks stand (ran by Rufus)
That should do it for now. Roughly 22 intermediary pages have been counted to be added to the dreamquest arc of left beef. It'll likely take a while. Also, there was a brief maintenance outage of our memo earlier tonight, it was returned online a few minutes after. I hope I get the time and energy to do some major drawing soon.
