The Charcherry Weekly
Like the tides, activity grows and shrinks in an endless cycle. No matter the ebb and flow, the news must be delivered.
New lawyer on the block
Earlier this week, Legendary Pokemon Mewtwo took the desertian bar exam and passed with flying colors! It appears that the year they spent studying payed off well! A few days later, Mewtwo reportedly signed on to become a public defender in the Quote Rightbracket case, which has been stalled due to lack of qualified defenders available. It is assumed that progress with resume on this case soon, and I wish Mewtwo the best of luck with their new position!
Assorted Unity happenings
Recently this week and last week, Unity Village Gym Leader Jovin Castle has been reportedly dealing with an unidentified mischievous goose pokemon. It has been spotted largely near the edge of the river that cuts through town. It has also been noted to have stolen Jovin's wrist-top on at least one occasion. Further investigation necessary.
Meanwhile, there have been recent arrangements for additional housing to be built to the east, as well as a community garden. According to Prince of Time Aeons Edgeworth, they had also discussed adding an additional bridge from the library side of the gym towards the town hall, which will increase mobility in the village. There are also preliminary plans for a pokemon contest hall to be built in the eastern valley, but that will require much more work to design. It is very likely that the garden site and the bridge will be the first things to be constructed in this round of development.
This week’s known market stands in Desertia Town:
-Pudding stand (this week)
-Steak knife stand (this week)
-Katie’s potion stand (*CaFAI filling in for Katie when unavailable)
-Brae’s canned goods stand (Ran by Prism in Brae’s absence)
-shinyjiggly pokesnacks stand (ran by Rufus)
And with that, I think that covers it. Recent developments in left beef have proved to be rather... interesting. I just hope I can figure out how to draw June and Dylan tumbling down a hill on the land of holes and numbers. See you next week!
