The Charcherry Weekly
Heya everyone, Mage of Light Nick Card here. Been working on a game lately. Hopefully it works out well.
Oodles of Noodles
Page of Mind Samm has recently applied for a business license and has set up a teriyaki noodle stand in Desertia's market square. My correspondent, Prince of Time Aeons Edgeworth, has reported that the smell of the noodles from their usual spot at the pokesnacks stand is mouth-watering. I still haven't gotten a chance to visit the stand, largely due to previously not knowing the hours that Samm usually has it open at. Reportedly, morning hours appear to be ideal.
I can't wait to taste those noodles.
Teh Zillion Moths of Doom
Yesterday in New Charcherry, a massive amount of moths were spotted flying out from somewhere. The moths were average moth sized, curiously some of them appeared to be fire elemental moths, and some of them ice elemental moths, as far as I could tell. Much of them were also fairly ordinary looking, though I was unable to identify a particular moth type as I am not a moth expert.
Your dear newsletter writer followed the veritable clouds of moths to the source, and discovered a number of coffins in Charcherry square! Each of them seemed to correspond to a different recently active dungeon crasher, including one for yours truly!
I, kinda skedaddled away from there after that. Do you KNOW how terrifying it is to see a coffin with your name on it, in your text color, built to exact specifications in the off-chance that you might die permanently? Like, I don't plan on doing much particularly Heroic or Just, but it's still scary! Aeons says I should probably like, claim my coffin and write a ~ATH program to deploy it from my sylladex upon my death or something, but that's kinda too morbid for me to think about.
In other news, my most recent game project is practically a therapy session at this point. I'm not sure if it'll help me with my crushing thanatophobia, but maybe I'll get lucky this time. Before anything happens to anyone, I just want to apologize for what will probably manifest after my game is brought to light. While everyone will be relatively fine in the end, it will have turn-based combat in it.
This week's known market stands in Desertia Town:
-Hand fan stand (this week)
-Paintbrush stand (this week)
-Katie's potion stand (*CaFAI filling in for Katie when unavailable)
-Brae's canned goods stand
-shinyjiggly pokesnacks stand
-Samm's teriyaki noodle stand
I think that's about what happened this week. I think Charles was offering some max potions the other day, but that's prolly about it. I assume the week for the mayoral election should be figured out soon.
Seeya next week!
