The Charcherry Weekly
Heya peeps, Mage of Light Nick Card here. It's been mostly quiet this week... mostly.
Actual Galar Champion now!
Brae Emit has officially become the champion of the Galar region! She bested her foes with a primarily fairy type team comprised of Stella the Clefable, Aqua the Azumaril, Elly the Ribombee, Sprinkle the Sylveon, Polaris the Lemon Cream Alcremie, and Pokey the Galarian Slowbro.
Her sibling Rise Emit also recently got their 4th gym badge from defeating Crasher Wake in the Sinnoh region. I'm sure Rise will make their way up the ladder as their sister has!
IMA FIRIN MAH LAZOR--BWARAGH!!!
Earlier this week, a variety of electronic devices in the greater charcherry area suddenly blasted a song known as "Pokemon March" for a handful of seconds, multiple times. This caused many of the pokemon in the area to face towards the device that broadcasted the signal that cased the phenomenon. It also caused Rogue of Heart Charles to go temporarily deaf, on account of their compushades having a very high absolute max volume. Fortunately potions worked.
Assuming trouble was on the horizon, the dungeon crashers made their way to the scene. They faced off against a powerful bug type pokemon with an exceptionally powerful hyper beam. Charles decided to launch himself and managed to captchalogue a large amount of ill-fitting armor that was strapped to the pokemon. Charles almost got an overclocked hyper beam to the face, but fortunately managed to evade it. Aforementioned overclocked hyper beam was reportedly visible from miles away.
With the efforts of the entire present group and their pokemon, the bug pokemon was weakened and then captured, now being rehabilitated in a disclosed location. The ones who had mistreated this bug pokemon in attempts to make it stronger, are still at large.
Goings on in Unity
There has been talk lately about a variety of topics pertaining to Unity Village. First being a pokemon research program of sorts. The rough idea is that young trainers would be able to gain monetary compensation for researching wild pokemon. The details of the program are still in the works, but it sounds promising. There are also plans for premium upgraded versions of the pokedex to become available, for a price. This will however require that Charles obtains their business license. He has managed to pass the builder's test, so it is optimistically likely that they can get through the paperwork for the business license.
Another topic of note is the question of who will become the mayor of the village. Page of Mind Samm has shown interest in the position, but Galar Champion Brae Emit has also considered a leadership role, though she is considering the possibility of establishing another village. This will need to be discussed between them and others involved on a later (but hopefully soon) date.
This week's known market stands in Desertia Town:
-Water fight supply stand(this week)
-Sticky note stand(this week)
-Katie's potion stand (*CaFAI filling in for Katie when unavailable)
-Brae's canned goods stand (Prism filling in for Brae)
-shinyjiggly pokesnacks stand
And with that, I think that does it. Its still a bit cold around here lately, but the snow has melted at this point. Been kinda rainy on and off though. At least sunburst is fine with being indoors on those days.
