This is pretty much a thread for me to post blurbs on projects and stuff that I'm working on. Feel free to gawk at my crud as much as you want. Current project: giftchat This is like a really really early alpha pic and it already looks a bit different from this. This is the font used by the way. It's a theme based off steamchum but by the time I'm done with it, it'l probably look quite a bit different.

Color codes are suffering. Progress wil resume on a later date. when it's done there will also be a non-dingbat version for usability.

Okay, now for some reason I've decided to make horns, probably for a Halloween costume in the far future. Using the method skittles outlined in an ask on her blog, I've started with the aluminum foil frame. Here's the first horn: It's currently hollow and fragile, similar in nature to beta!Seth. Hopefully I can re-create the other horn in the same fashion and have it match up nicely.

horn 2 is shaped now. It didn't turn out exactly like the other one, but it's good enough. Tomorrow I plan on adding temp filler of some sort, covering them in plastic bag plastic, and then applying the paper mache. I'm gonna need some method of attachment, probably a headband or something. When I get to the dollar store tomorrow, I'll probably pick one up, along with maybe some white acrylic, if I can find any (or maybe I might have some in storage out back?)

First layer of mache on the first horn. Used corn starch and water on lined paper with plastic bag taped around the foil. Definitely going to need another layer. Probably will need more corn starch to the solution.

Resumed working on it. The next day after that all the strips fell off so I had to re-do them with standard flour and water. They're still drying and it'll probably take overnight. I still need to figure out how to attach them to the headband after painting them. Also, Giftchat's memo coloring is coming along a bit better than it was last time. Still needs some stuff converted over from steamchum.

okay, I am done. any more cutting or whatever would probably mess it up more. maybe on a later date I'll make some higher quality horns, but for now, this is the end result. I'm surprised at how well tape+glue works to keep it on the headband.

I started making a minecraft build of the Land of Meteor and Gospel (or whatever the heck we're calling it). It's based in a water world flatmap with a combination of fill command and more fine-tuned block placement/removal. I have no idea when I'll be getting the itch to play minecraft again so here's the unfinished map for you guys to mess around with. Zip file

the landmass has been created! I decided to speed things up with mcedit so now the island at least looks like one. Some treeplanting has been done but it needs way more. there's tons of plains with nothing but grass that need something in them! Updated version of the map

some fine-tuning has been done here and there. But mostly, Seth's Clock tower has been mostly built in the Nether! Just take the elevator in the dream dome and you'll be there. Here's the map.
