The Charcherry Weekly
Heya, Mage of Light Nick Card here. Things are getting a bit quieter since the holidays have passed, but things still happen.
Spaceport Bug Chasing
Your dear newsletter writer has been busy chasing bug Pokemon all week. Admittedly, I've never really been one much for bugs, so I called in Desertia's most prominent bug type trainer for help. It turns out that wound up being Heir of Void Mimi So&so. At first I was still worried about what they think about me, considering the whole thing with how I'm probably responsible for their existence and importance, but it seems they're still pretty chill about it and don't particularly think that I have anything to do with them being around here. Regardless, I knew I needed the assistance of somebody who was good at bug catching, because when a swarm of bug Pokemon go off to places beyond their known habitat, it's good to be able to know exactly how to track and catch them effectively.
Seeing as it's one of the most public facing directly connected locations, we started with scouring the spaceport. Quite thankfully, security at the spaceport had already mostly tracked and detained most of the bug Pokemon, assuming them to be part of an illicit pet trade or something. Thankfully, after I explained that me and Mimi were trying to return them to the closest thing they have to a native habitat in this universe (though to avoid suspicion I stated that it was their native habitat), and after seeing our desertian resident ID's, they entrusted us with all the bug Pokemon they could find. Apparently they believed us when we stated that starter planet is designated as a wildlife refuge within desertian territory. We managed to take them back to charcherry forest and release them with minimal fuss.
Something tells me that it's gonna be a lot harder to find the bug Pokemon in the catacombs of Fort Aspara, but between me and Mimi, I think we should be able to manage. Probably.
A Time Out
Earlier this week, Desertian President Katyleen Kitten and her wife Samus Kitten have left for their much needed vacation. Reportedly, the other time players Rise Emit, Thoren Emit, and Aeons Edgeworth have also gone on vacation in a similar location outside of the local timestream, for the sake of recovering from their mysterious condition. It is currently unknown if Warlock of Time Coleman has been affected by this or not, as no reports have been received.
Regardless, I hope they all have a good time over there.
Fishy Business
Some point this week in Azure Ocean, a group of Magikarp have reportedly been fleeing from a blue attack of some sort, assumed to be dragon rage or a blue electric attack. Apparently one of the Magikarp may have been hit by the attack. Further investigation is needed to see if this is a one-off incident or connected to something larger.
That should do it for this week. Recently finished that jam game and prolly gonna get back into more panel drawing soon. Not gonna bother trying to figure out where the unaccounted panels came from, just gonna continue where they left off.
Until next time!
