The Charcherry Weekly
Hey there, Prince of Time Garnett Garren here. Its so quiet lately that I can almost hear my thoughts. Almost.
I swear we're not becoming The Onion
On thursday, Rogue of Heart Charles reported a flying onion for some weird reason. it was assumed to be a celebi, but even after painstaking investigation, such claims were left unproven. Not too long after, Charles mentioned that his dragon companion, Lil' B, had recently lost a tooth and apparently got a round oblong coin for it in return. It is assumed that the coin in question is an amulet coin, or perhaps even a meowth coin, but this has yet to be confirmed. I'm not sure if these are connected or not (imo, probably not), but Charles seems to think that celebi had acted as the tooth fairy for some weird-ass reason.
What the hell does Celebi want with a dragon's tooth?
Looking it up, in greek myth, they're rumored to grow fully-formed warriors for some reason, but I'm not sure why Celebi would need a bodyguard. Considering its an actual dragon's tooth, I don't think it would be useful as anti-tank terrain either. In Dark Souls, dragon tooth is apparently classified as a hammer. In stardew valley, its pretty much only useful as a trading item. In mass effect, its just a name for an impaling device which converts its victims into obedient cyborgs. Apparently in china, dragon's teeth were prized for their medicinal properties. This might make more sense as a motive for a celebi to take a dragon's tooth, but at the same time, it seems a bit unlikely. Some random thread on the dnd subreddit had suggestions for things like arrowheads and such, but that doesn't seem to be much of a celebi thing.
One possibility I think might be plausible however, is something having to do with Dialga, since that's a legendary time dragon pokemon. Perhaps trying to seek them out with the tooth as a spell focus? bringing home a gift to show a friend? I have no idea if they're friends or not, I just sorta like to draw them as friends sometimes.)
In other news, I really need to practice playing the ocarina, because from the sounds of it, I absolutely suck at it. I wonder if I should get a better one than the same-old purple four-hole I've had since middle school. I certainly have the means to get a better one, after all. Maybe then it will feel less like trying to perform ninjutsu hand signs with the hold combos or whatever.
I could go for a nice baked onion right about now. Apparently those things practically melt in your mouth when you bake them just right.
Until next time, seeya!
