The view with heart sight is quite eclectic, to say the least. A particularly notable signal can be felt to the north, at least a couple miles away. It's certain to be the prince of time that you've known for years.
Meanwhile, the aforementioned prince is in a very troubling position.
"Rapidash! Make this welp regret their actions!"
As if on cue, both Colby and Pachirisu emerge from their pokeballs to protect their trainer!
"Ha, that's your sad excuse for a team? Do you just give them belly rubs all day or something?"
"DON'T TALK SMACK ABOUT MY POKEMON! Pachirisu, zap that asshole's flaming horse! Colby, use confuse ray!"
"Stomp!"
Colby shoots a ray at rapidash, confusing it!
However, that isn't enough to stop it from stomping pachirisu into a pulp!
Where has this guy been training, cerulean cave???

Charles zips off in that direction, immediately, upon getting a trace. While flying, he decides to let the memo know of his progress... Unfortunately, it seems that the motion prevents a connection from being made!
"...Well, it can't have been that long yet..." he mutters to himself.

A fearow can be seen flying about in the distance.
It seems the distance was further than expected, who woulda thunk that the routes would be so long?
Meanwhile, Colby is trying to keep rapidash at bay. Aeons had to return the badly injured pachirisu to it's PokeBall before it could even attack.
"Use Aerial Ace!"
Colby strikes true, but it barely does a scratch to the shambling violent horse...

At this distance, one on the bridge might be able to see the mach cone that FL is making.
He probably should have started breaking 5 seconds ago. He immediately begins slowing down, to avoid making a crater.

Some of the ace trainer's lackeys are distracted by the sonic cone in the sky.
"Whoa, what's that supposed to be?"
"I think I know! I think they're called latte-oas?"
"You mean latias and latios?"
"Yeah, one of those!"
"Is there like, a name for either one of them?"
"Heck if I know."
"Wait a minute, aren't they usually only spotted in Hoenn? Something's looking fishy here."
"Will you chumps stop staring at clouds and watch me wipe the floor with this noob trainer's crobat?!" The ace trainer retorts.
"I dunno, it doesn't seem right..."
"Do you want to be next?!"
"Nopenopenopenope!" That particular random trainer in the ace trainer's group hides behind a support arch on the bridge.
Meanwhile, Aeons is trying to weigh their options. Clearly this jerkwad is bad news, and if Colby gets hit even once, they'll have to book it for a pokemon center... If they'll even get the chance. Aeons has the distinct feeling that running out of reinforcements is a far more dire situation than it was in the games.
The rapidash is returning to its senses, the confusion having worn off by now. It stares down the blackglasses wearing, four winged bat.
Should Aeons resort to less than fair measures to escape from this battle?

Charles is panicking. He really should have decelerated earlier, because he is FAIRLY CERTAIN he is about to smack into the ground at just over mach one. He desperately attempts to pull up, to avoid hitting the ground.
Oh shit! Move, big horsey, move!

 The standoff is interrupted as the lackeys begin scattering at the sight of the supersonic figure hurtling towards the area! Aeons and Colby take the opportunity to abscond southways, while the ace trainer is chased northwards by his own spooked rapidash back across the other side of the bridge! "AAAAAAAAAAAAA!!" |

Charles proceeds put on full reverse to his acceleration, equip the Golden Wonder Wings, do everything to try to prevent a collision.
He mostly fails, slamming into one of the trees above the local waist high ledge, at just below what terminal velocity would be. Thankfully, this is enough to prevent injury to himself, thanks to his choice in footwear, but the tree is regardless slammed into, as if a large pokemon had hit it with a headbutt.

The tree is bashed and a swarm of combee come flying out of it! They begin trying to find whoever might have disturbed them!
Meanwhile, the nugget bridge gang has momentarily split up in their panic, some of them jumping into the water, some fleeing to the grass by the lower banks, some even desperately trying to climb over a nearby fence, only to tumble painfully down the steep rocky ledges beyond it.
As for the ace trainer being chased by his own rapidash? they wind up running off towards the hedge mazes.
Aeons and Colby just sorta stand still, dumbfounded by the chaos a distance away.

Upon seeing the swarm of flying honeycombs, an ancient reaction stirs up in FL. He stands up, stares the swarm leader in the eyes... and then proceeds to turn around and hightail it away, leaping off the ledge.
"AEONS, IF YOU HEAR ME, WE GOTTA GO, NOW!"
He holds a hand up in the air, as he quickly flicks through his sylladex to ready a flower at moments notice, his other hand reaching out to the side, as he tries to use Heart Sight to get to Aeons, now.

Thankfully, Aeons is just a couple yards away from the south end of nugget bridge. They hear Charles's voice and perk up immediately.
"what the... charles?!"
Complying with their words, Aeons runs across Nugget Bridge to meet up with Charles... Just as the bees begin to give chase!
"You sure know how to make an entrance!"
Aeons prepares to grab Charles's hand as they get closer.

Charles grabs on, almost immediately deploying the flower. And yet he realized that someone is still here. "GET COLBY GET COLBY"
The Combee are rapidly approaching...

Colby jack is thankfully not too far behind and still quite fast.
Aeons pulls out their pokeball and returns colby once they get close enough.

Charles uncaptchas the Odd Flower, and starts practically... well, no, there is no practically about it, hes just screaming at it.
"DESERTIA DESERTIA DESERTIA GO GO GO GO!"
Moments before the combee would catch up, there is a flash of light.

The swarm of combee scatter at the bright flash, their accuracy lowered!
It takes a solid minute for the combee to calm down and return to their posts.
