[Pokemon World] Mage Quest

"Hmm, maybe the bridge? There's always suspicious people hanging around bridges in my experience." HAZEL says, cracking her neck a bit.

HAZEL shakes her head, trying to spot if the joggers or skateboarders were wearing any telltale evil team uniforms.

"Hmm, I think I might have seen something in the shadows down by the skate park?" HAZEL says, turning to head down that way with her hand on FLOWER's Ultra Ball.

Meanwhile, a few miles north of Crossroad City, back at mom's house, a mail truck shows up to drop off something.
It's a heavy cardboard box addressed to Mx. Lightmage.
The package is left in front of the door and the mailcarrier drives off to the next house on the route.

After checking out of the hotel they were staying at, Diamond manages to get a plane ticket. It was a bit pricey, but that doesn't mater.
Somebody else is footing the bill anyways. They just need to make sure to stay dedicated to their mission.

Not being interested in making small-talk with a taxi driver, they ride their charizard, Charon, up to the closest place they can land without getting in trouble from air traffic control. Briefly they considered trying to make the whole trip on Charon, but the length of the flight would be far too long over the ocean, even if Charon was ride certified (which they are not.)

Diamond hops off of Charon and returns them to their pokeball.
They begin their walk.
Fortunately, most people at this airport are far too busy trying to catch their flight, which means any battle challenges will be minimal. The bustle is a little stressful, but their determination keeps them focused enough to cope.

Eventually, Diamond is waiting at the terminal, sitting in a chair as they wait for the plane to show up and begin accepting passengers. They showed up rather early, having made sure that there would be plenty of time in case of complications. They wonder what sort of schemes Team Abyssal must be plotting... No matter, their team should be strong enough to take any of them on. If they're luck, Diamond might even run into one of those oddly strong up-and-coming prodigy trainers willing to team up with them. Then again, Diamond never really did like teaming up with random kids, even if they are technically a teenager themself.

Soon enough Diamond and the others waiting are called upon to begin boarding. Having traveled a lot in the past few years, Diamond is no stranger to air travel. This is just another mission.
Diamond takes their seat.

Its a sunny day on Route P-1, though admittedly, you might be a bit off the beaten path, being surrounded by trees.
The sound of a mail truck can be heard to the west, pointing to the direction where the road can be found.

As for your heart sight, you can sense the presence of the mailcarrier and their pokemon. In the woods, you can sense various common woodland pokemon here and there. To the south, there's a great deal of people a few miles away, including what very well may be HAZEL's signature!

Meanwhile, Nick and HAZEL are searching for clues about the dittos at the skate park under the bridge. So far however, there doesn't seem to be any leads.
However, a pair of skaters lock eyes with Nick and Hazel.

"Hey! You looking for a fight?"

Nick steps back slightly, startled by the eye contact. "Uh no, we're just looking for some escaped starter dittos."

"Well we wanna battle!"

Nick turns to face HAZEL. "uh... what should we do."

Charles pauses, before taking a deep breath. This place was... far more alive, than he expected to arrive to. He questions, if he arrived in the right place, before sighing. He probably just, arrived, after the weird time bullshit with HAZEL was taken care of. Yeah, that made sense. Its not like they were giving constant updates, anyway, and given the track record of weird time shit in the Pokemon Anime, it was fairly obvious that Crater Town wasn't going to stick that way for long.
