The Charcherry Weekly
Hi, Prince of Time Garnett Garren here. Filling in for Mage of Light Nick Card this week because SOMEBODY doesn't want to function tonight.
You're too slow
Early this week, Heir of Time Rise Emit had been looking for a place where they could safely train their very young gold dragon Goldie. They wound up asking Rogue of Heart Charles, who suggested that they train on a volcano on the opposite side of Starter Planet. One that had been previously reported on as being extremely new, and apparently caused by a massive tower falling into the core of the planet or something ridiculous like that. However, because the place was so new and far, it was judged to not be worth the bother. Charles took it upon himself to take the journey to place a transportalizer pad there, and upon arriving, apparently found it had been claimed by a group of slopoke. Yes, the pokemon slopoke, despite the fact that flock ornis himself said that there were no pokemon in this universe. Sometimes I wonder if we've fallen into the candy threshold or something like that, because this whole incident makes no freaking sense. additional investigation has yet to be done.
Magenapped
Some point in the middle of the week, the Queen of Air and Darkness showed up again, and this time she managed to trigger Mage of Light Nick Card's infodump ability, which caused them to talk for an hour about their session and their time on the lost pawns meteor. A few hours later, Nick disappeared from their room with only a ring of red mushrooms as a trace. They stayed disappeared for like, 2 days and only recently returned, at which point they had a meltdown about not enough bad stuff happening while they were gone or something ridiculous like that. I didn't even give away all the lasagna! There's still a piece in the fridge for you!
Despite their flipout (which isn't even the first one they've had, so I know its not an effect of the place they went to.), I'm certain they're alright after the whole ordeal. They'll say as much as they feel they can next week.
I spy with my huge creepy eye
Some time around that time, a bunch of people went down to the game room to fight the Eye of Cthulu in Terarria. To put it simply, the group that showed up managed to be so big that the eye's hp scaled to literally over nine thousand. Reportedly they could only knock it down to 1/3 of a healthbar before the sun came up and ended the battle without fanfare. The combatants also died a lot. There are plans for a rematch, though a date has yet to be set on that. There's also talk of powergaming methods to be used in order to prevent excessive health scaling. I wish them luck on their efforts.
That should do it for now. Hopefully the text doesn’t wind up bugging out.
