The Charcherry Weekly
Heya, Mage of Light Nick Card here. It's been a quiet week, but a good one.
Bangin' out the tunes
This week was the one that 4/13 fell upon, and because of a variety of reasons, a wide variety of important occurrences tend to happen on that date across paradox space. One of the most well-known is June Egbert's birthday, and the anniversary of the SBURB session she played with her friends 12 years ago. The exact age of the version of June that visited our universe is more than likely still 23, though a version of her from a less temporally dislocated timeline would more than likely be 25 instead.
Regardless, wherever you're at, we wish you a happy birthday, June!
As for other events which occurred on the same date this year, Rogue of Heart Charles has noted a possible timeline split from the vanilla, regarding a group known as URBANE. I did some brief investigation and found mostly puzzles and cryptic webpages. So far, this particular timeline has yet to contain any particularly important elements to it which would require further investigation, though it is postulated that a session may be a possible outcome. I'll let Charles keep the tabs on this one.
Though I had meant for it to be completed earlier than 3am after 4/13 proper, I wound up finishing up the panels for chapter 1 of the webcomic adaptation of None Pizza With Left Beef! While the ending in the warp zone could clearly use a close-up pic of some sort, that can always be added in later.
For now, I've moved on to something that I can hopefully put together in less than two weeks, specifically a floppy-sized game covering the events of the dungeon crawl on planet Roostor. Despite Katie's guesses, it is being made in RPG Maker 2000 rather than RPG Maker XP, due to game jam file size restrictions. If all goes to plan, this should be finished on time.
Keeping Up
In other news, Mai has been continuing to train for potentially tackling a voidco dungeon with the group, though one has yet to be detected for months now. Regardless, he reportedly enjoys the training regimen that bounty hunter Samus Kitten has been putting him on in preparation.
...I just remembered, it was also Raine and Thoren's wedding anniversary on 4/13. Perhaps it wasn't the best idea for them to get married on hamsteak day, considering that date's tendency to attract other important occurrences.
