The Charcherry Weekly
Hello, Mage of Light Nick here! I guess some stuff happened this week or something.
Horaean Odyssey update!
Early this week, Warlock of Time Coleman had completed his work with setting up the remaining transportalizer pads to Aestival and Brumal.
Reportedly, Rise stayed on Autumnal to watch the farm while he traveled to Vernal, the spring planet. Apparently Coleman danced with the fauns until daybreak to ask for audience with the sihde Queens. Further details are needed.
Charcherry's Rebirth
On sunday, the preparations for the Charcherry revival project came to a head as your dear newsletter writer Mage of Light Nick had to pack up everything they own and share before a hundred years arrived upon them. Thankfully I was outside of the radius of the Red Dome when Prince of Time River Garren cast it upon the village.
A time capsule of sorts was also placed between the twin tetrarch statues, consisting of a variety of items placed in a homemade wooden crate, with a metal capsule right next to it, containing some electronics.
After all business was completed in Charcherry, and evacuation methods were completed, as far as everyone was concerned, River and myself began our work. River used the Leg of Time temporal artifact to improve their time power efficiency, and I used my light powers to make sure that night and day occurred within the affected area as expected, for maximum plant growth.
It took a half hour or so to complete the task together, and by the end, the forest was grown back stronger than ever.
However, it is unknown if there will be anyone moving back to Charcherry, since the vast majority of its residents evacuated and never returned after the purity temple incident, not to mention the fact that Gene's Garden was relocated to Desertia.
A day or two later however, an elf reportedly by the name of Mistletoe, was discovered to have been living in Charcherry Forest while it was encased in the Red Dome. Apparently something very regrettable occurred which caused a doomed timeline or two, which was resolved when a doomed version of Rise threw a severed head at Rogue of Heart Charles.
Further details are too sensitive to be obtained, which is understandable, considering A SEVERED HEAD WAS INVOLVED LIKE WHAT THE FUCK?!
In other news, your dear newsletter writer's previous home is now host to an entire family of spiders and quite frankly, they can keep it.
I do hope that more housing options beyond hotel lodging above the lab are made available on Desertia at some point.
Crash and Smash!
Some time in the middle of the week, a spaceship crash-landed upon Desertia, with a great deal of on-board casualties. There was a great big mess, to say the least. Thankfully no desertian residents were fatally wounded, though President Katyleen Kitten did get hit with something, it was only a minor injury. There was at least one survivor, who was recovered from a stasis pod that was found.
Apparently her name is Abby, and she is the owner of a slime cat that was discovered on Autumnal a few days prior. I have yet to sit down and talk with her yet, having only met her when she tried to replicate a live chicken using the food replicator in the kitchen. This was most likely why the replicator became out of order for approximately 24 hours after that. According to Charles, the replicator cannot replicate living cells anyways.
Mountain Mysteries
Just yesterday, Rogue of Heart Charles led a party to raid Rift Mountain, the previous location of his secret base before the Red Rift had altered the very fabric of reality in Gene, and presumably became the cause of the mountain's ever-shifting nature. Joining Charles was Witch of Time Katyleen Kitten, Cube assistant *Kaz, Page of Light Tracy, and yours truly Mage of Light Nick Card. We successfully recovered the golden power hub, a rack of servers, the contents of an entire library (except for a particularly cursed book with a furby face on it, which managed to consume Katie's prosthetic arm), and a variety of furniture and game systems, as well as a variety of expired food items. With this task complete, the external internet connection is now properly stabilized once more.
There was also an incident involving a Scientist-templated person who had been trapped in an agonizing superposition between life and death for five years. The group was tasked with ending what little amount of life they had been clinging to, and in turn the Scientist was granted safety within the PowerCity.
Later on, Me and Heir of Hope Hazel worked together to carry Tracy off the mountain safely, as she is currently lacking the ability to fly for some reason, and was not in the right state to descend upon the mountain on her own.
Hotdoggin Update
After weeks and weeks of waiting, Charles has finally gotten a piece of mail in the PO box that he specified on that sketchy website. It contains twenty-four (24) tickets to ride the Starbus going to Planet Hotdoggin. The place of departure will be at the Spaceport, though the date is somewhat hard to read on the letter. the closest I could decipher was "Qctoder 77nd", though it is very likely that it says 22nd rather than 77nd. Make sure to ask Charles if you want a ticket!
That should do it for this week. Make sure to click Like and subscr-waitno, just comment below if you have any questions or comments or whatever.
