The Charcherry Weekly
Heya! Mage of Light Nick here! This week went by kinda fast. Let's go over it now!
Purity Temple Pulverization!
At the beginning of the reported week, a group consisting of Rogue of Heart Charles, Delta timeline Witch of Time Katyleen Kitten, Page of Light Tracy, Warlock of Time Coleman, bounty hunter Samus, Prince of Time River, Knight of Space Zowera and Knight of Void Jamie, Took a trip to the outskirts of the dying forest of Charcherry to conquer the purity temple once and for all.
It didn't take long for them to enter the temple and descend to the workers area to the core.
The core, covered in flesh and housing the souls of other adventurers and some void co workers, attacked. Coleman managed to bind a name to the collective, but before he could attempt his binding ritual, the cannon overloaded and exploded, destroying the core. Reportedly, Zowera had a hand in this. The temple soon collapsed, leaving nothing but a pit of boiling hot lava in its wake.
All members of the party survived the collapse, but some apparently felt regretful that they could not save the doomed members of the flesh core. Thankfully however, the draining effects had ceased with the flesh core.
A day or two later, the party members received thank you letters from voidco, each with an enclosed friendcoin.
Many in the group are disturbed by the implications of such a delivery.
Internet Woes
The next day, the trans-cosmic internet went out, cutting off our connection to internet from beyond the confines of Gene. A temporary fix was put into place by alchemizing a new proxy server, but because this creates inconsistent packets with the other one, the old one still needs to be deactivated.
Unfortunately it is currently within a mountain that teleports away when nobody is looking at it, meaning that a large party which will not all blink at the same time must be sent to it eventually.
Until then, *CaFAI, who is primarily linked to the Land of Copper and Lasers, and thus technically outside of Gene, will have to wait to reconnect to the friendship network.
The Prince's Quest
Prince of Time River Garren has taken it upon themself to restore Charcherry to a properly livable state by planting copious amounts of trees to replace those that had been drained entirely by the Purity Temple. As of the time of writing, they have planted a great deal of trees and such and they soon plan to carry on to the next step of their plan in a few days time. Reportedly, River plans on accelerating time in the Charcherry area to allow a hundred years to occur, so as to let the forest grow back much faster.
Because the elves had already largely fled the area, it is assumed that the area will be quite clear when this winds up happening.
In related news, a massive crystal tree has reportedly sprouted in Charcherry forest, courtesy of Rogue of Heart Charles. It is currently unknown what effects it will have on the ecosystem or the tourism in the area, but according to River it looks "pretty darn epic".
A Seasonal Adventure
Warlock of Time Coleman and Heir of Time Rise Emit have been preparing for their journey across the Horae system this week, though an opportune moment to make an earnest leap to Vernal, the spring planet, has yet to occur outside of the bootstrap timeloop needed to place the corresponding transportalizer pad there.
Pads for each of the seasonal planets have been alchemized, reportedly using the vast majority of Rise's grist cache.
0 Hats Out of 10: Chumhandle too Misleading
On wednesday, somebody new joined the memo, using the handle peacefulSuggestion. They stated their name was Xavier and that they live on the version of Earth that Mai's boyfriend Nico is from. It is assumed that this identity is entirely fabricated due to further investigation revealing that PS is in fact located in the Capital City on planet Hepi. They had also posted a picture of a very attractive person holding a printed out memo post as proof that they were a human but it turns out that was faked somehow as well, which I think is a crying shame, because whoever modeled for that picture looks incredible and I want to steal that look--but I digress.
It is largely agreed upon that PS is actually Mei's former boss Xen undercover.
We didn't exactly want to break the news to them, considering the nature of the situation, but eventually it was told to them that Mei is in critical condition, owing to the moment last week in which Charles lost his head in a ^CAKE codesplosion incident.
It is currently unknown if Mei will survive or not.
It is assumed that she may not make it.
In other news, we have lost a precious miniature potted cactus from starter planet by the name of Steve, having fallen victim to Charles and his merciless hammer.
You will be missed, Steve. Please know that your loss was not in vain.
