The Charcherry Weekly
Heya! Mage of Light Nick here! This week felt so much nicer than last week, though the town this paper is named for can't exactly say the same thing...
A Tricky Thief?
Reportedly, ROUGE THE FREAKING BAT somehow entered our dimension and somehow STOLE Gene's garden from Charcherry, depositing it atop a building right outside of Fort Aspara. Apparently it was retrieved and placed back in its original spot the day after, though not exactly lined up as it once was.
It is still hotly debated whether or not it was actually Rouge the Bat, but the photo evidence seems to suggest as such.
Purity Temple Continues Sucking
Over the course of this weekend, it has come to the attention of many that the life has been increasingly being drained out of everyone and everything living in the Charcherry area. Fish have gone belly-up, trees have turned to ashen pillars of dust, and a dangerous spiraling depression has befallen the residents who dare to make such a place their home. For that reason, an evacuation was called for, and the village was declared unsafe. Reportedly it will be considered uninhabitable by next monday.
It is extremely likely that this phenomenon is being caused by the Purity Temple, a voidco dungeon that was never successfully cleared entirely. There are plans for it to be raided on saturday, in hope that the group will be able to take it down together and save the Charcherry from dying! For now however, many of us wait on Desertia, including yours truly.
Reportedly, Gene's Garden, the flagship bar and main attraction of Charcherry, has also been moved to Desertia for the time being.
Blah *head pops off*
At some point after the evacuation, Rogue of Heart Charles had managed to decapitate himself accidentally while trying to program a game case sorting device. Reportedly, it was a freak accident while compiling a ^CAKE program that caused the explosion. Charles revived shortly after, with no judgement issued. At this point, he has managed to get the sorter working, though the different sorter configurations beyond the first will still need to be manually programmed in.
The Princess is Missing!
Princess of Space Brae Emit has been kidnapped!
Reportedly, a queen among the Fae is responsible for this. Heir of Time Rise Emit and Warlock of Time Coleman, as well as a newcomer known as Myles, made it their mission to investigate Brae's disappearance. Apparently, Charles had assisted early on, but bailed quick after learning that the Fae were involved.
Reportedly, Coleman and Rise contacted the dryads and received aid from them, promised in the shape of a golden acorn.
It is unknown what will occur next.
