> FLord and Jessie: Stop being lost in the woods already and make your way back to the party! Two figures continued through the woods. One dead, and the other presumably alive. The festivities awaited just beyond the thicket, it seemed...Jessie, the lupine Smith of Flow became distracted by fireworks, in the middle of the day. They must have been rather dazzling to have her transfixed for such a long moment. Charles, the forgotten lord, had been focusing on making sure his plans to stay behind stayed intact. Likely he would not face too much opposition. > Mania: hmm, they probably have arrived by now, better take a look out of the concrete slab that is a magicant entrance.Meanwhile, A denizen of a maniacal nature peered out from a mysterious slab that had once been bound to a trailer. It appeared it was no longer, since the toppling much before. Had they arrived in the new world? It seemed unlikely, from the look and feel of things...

> [ REDACTED ] "RN" Careon: Break down under the sudden flood of grief and despair. Something I must note, that many may not entirely understand, depending upon how well-versed you are in The Discourse, is that in this part of the story, The Tinkerer had yet to discover the gender identity that had best fit, and had been previously using male pronouns during this time. In later stories, which take place after The Day The Kats Returned, The Tinkerer is referred to using female pronouns to fit her preferences. Do not take appearances at face value, always remember to ask the question first. Thank you.
It was rather odd circumstances for The Remainder to flip out in such a manner at that time, but very much explainable. The bond he shared with the Fallen Heir, he also shared with a few others, including the War-hardened Tinkerer. It had been quite a while since any of the built up emotional energy could reach this individual, so when it finally did...
...the sorrow and loneliness rushed forth in full force. It's quite fortunate that the tinkerer could send the excess despair away, not to mention that a close friend was there for comfort.
Unfortunately, the administrator of the network would have to weather that which the Tinkerer could not handle.

>Kalmaro: Fall asleep out of Hepi-related boredomElsewhere, an inkling heir of time had fallen asleep in the back of a van. The trip he had gone on with his friends had proved to be quite boring and uneventful. >Kalmaro: Arrive at partyAs luck would have it, he too appeared in the same dream. At this point, the Muse was finishing up her speeches and other business. The crowd seemed to be somewhat anxious, as if they had been standing there for all time. Perhaps the right time to draw the festivities to a close? It would seem so.

>Schrodinger: Get that rig under control!
As Thoren spiraled out of control in a desperate depressive state bought upon him by The Tinkerer's excess sorrow, Another instance of the Fallen Heir tried his hardest to steer his vessel in a more conventional manner. Unfortunately, The Remainder would not listen to reason nor steering wheel controller input. There was only one who could tame the fires of his soul...
...Raine.

==> Far away, time began to move again. Raine, the Lord of Rage, could feel her beloved one's longing cries. He needed her. > Thoren: Return homeSensing the progression of time on her end, Thoren made the leap back to his robotic body, using his connections as a pathway across the Grand Divide. His spaceworthy vehicle, the Eros Machina, was unimportant at this point. He just wanted to be with the one he loves the most.
Great joy was shared between the two of them when they were finally able to look into each other's eyes once more.

==> They embraced each other tightly, as if separated for months on end. Tears of joy flowed freely. It was a touching reunion to behold.
However... they still had places to go. The Tattered Heir and his rather new entourage of elf spirits (as well as the forbidden heir) silently questioned what was wrong with them. Why did they feel the need to display such affection after walking for merely "a minute"? Regardless, they soon resumed their walk into the forest...

> Groups: Meet up In mere paces, they found themselves in the party area with the rest of the Lost Pawns, and the numerous others that had fought with them. There was an exchange of mild conversation upon their meeting which I had not received exact records for.
I do apologize that not all of them could be drawn here, there were simply just too many to keep track of. Regardless of the limitations of illustration, they were all there, except for the floral dreamweaver, her dreamy knight, the first temporic, and her revolting father. They had already left just minutes/months beforehand.

> Tattered Heir: Reveal PathwayThe Tattered Heir, tired, but still very much in control, beckoned the group to follow him somewhere. Somewhere intensely familliar to the elves and their assailent.
The Endgame Platform of their session.==>Despite the shock of such a location revealed, the group followed behind. Thoren began to feel a sense of hesitation and guilt, but Raine led him forwards with her.
The bloodstained endgame platform awaited their footfalls.

> Clispaeth: What is wrong with this pictureThe leader of the elves stood at the foot of the Endgame Door, staring at the damages and blood spilt. There was nothing left for them here. Nothing but a reminder of their failure to enter before it was too late. Why did the Tattered Heir lead them to the place of their deaths? Was this some sort of twisted joke? > Tattered Heir: Fix this It was at this point that he began to concentrate and glow in a prismatic aura. As the master of the Grand Dream, he could do nearly anything he wanted in this realm, if his will was strong enough.

==>For the sake of not boring you all with the details of all the side stories that are supposed to be skipped to any time the heir makes a major action in this book, Let's just skip to the part where a single second goes forward where the current action is taking place.> Quit waiting for Godot and get on with it!In an embarrassingly short amount of time, the Tattered Heir magically repaired the Endgame Door! It was a miraculous sight to behold! The spectators watched in awe as the key to their greatest dreams was just steps away from being fulfilled!

> Charles: Wait, isn't this the power erasing door? But then, the Forgotten Lord had just remembered a vital detail from his previous studies! He had to tell the group about it, least they wished to lose all of their powers. The scattered crowd looked upon him with partial confusion and partial dread. The work of a Charles was something to be feared, after all. The Tinkerer could stand no longer at this level of pressure and fell unconscious. The sorrow and grief it appeared was still too much to handle...==>The Tinkerer's dreamself appeared back in the less populated scene of the party, alongside the Spirit Of The Hunt. They had not been separated like this before. Meanwhile, a late double was busy at work, and the reversed double was preoccupied with searching for the only other of their kind still in this world. Nearby, the entire massacre of seths continued to mosh together in celebration of their victory over the Malice. One of them noticed the Tinkerer and showed his approval towards their mutual music tastes.

==> He had to do something. A compulsion burned in his heart to set things right.
After dashing onto the platform proper, (and accidentally re-igniting ancient fears) The remainder threw himself to the ground! It was at this point that his sorrow had greatly immobilized him. Sobs escaped from him as he tried to plead for forgiveness. He offered muffled apologies over and over again in desperation. It was quite clear to those connected to him that he was absolutely ashamed of himself and the grief that he had caused. The Tattered Heir scoffed once more at Thoren's behavior. The elves watched cautiously as their slayer cried at their feet.
What could any of them do at this point? What could even be done to absolve the Remainder's sins? What could be done to right the wrongs of the past? What could he possibly do to make it up to them?
