Jo nods, smiling down at her, beginning to write down random thoughts and memories, as well as a an outline of what he would like to cover, also asking her how she is doing with her book, until he can't keep his eyes open anymore, putting them aside to curl up with her as he goes to sleep.

Time goes by, as time does, Jovin working on writings mostly or looking what there is to read, Not training for once. Thomas would still train, of course, And Molly and her sister, Leslie, would just continue to explore the ship and what archives it has, Jo belatedly remembering that he was supposed to be looking for jobs and stuff for everyone.

Samm had been taking a break from her writing to deal with the chaos involved with the group, but after it's mentioned, figures she'll go back to it. During the days, she's been splitting her attention between writing her book, writing down notes about her magic studies, spending meal and talking time with the family, doing her tai chi, and giving extra attention to Jovin.

Jovin would appreciate the extra attention as he tries to write and think of what he wants to write, Jo peeking in on the Tai Chi on occasion, but generally out and about on the ship when he's not home, still searching and gathering what jobs there are, the kids asking her on occasion on how things are going but doing their own thing, spending more time then normal with Jovin.
Jovin would be doing alright, but it's obvious it's weighing on his mind, and his rest is still troubled...

Samm is glad everyne seems to be doing their own thing, their family time still about the same since my last post describing it.
Brennan practices his light magic more out in the open, and occasionally trains with Thomas. Otherwise, he's either cooking or helping Samm with the meals.
Samm rests with Jovin one night, and then establishes another mind connection (very carefully) to have a more serious talk.

Jovin would have a nice, if serious at first, long talk with her, sharing happy memories with each other and such. He would like to have a serious talk but... kinda got thrown to the side.

Things were kind of chaotic and then silent for some time, as far as the memo was going.
Samm's attention was split between magic and Jovin, sometimes with having Jovin watch her magic training.
One day though, interestingly, the day that the deal was going to go down, she clung onto Jovin for hours. She would appear tense, and nervous, and kinda scared, and somewhat regretful, and somehow a bit hopeful?

Jo would mostly just be keeping an eye out on his family and on jobs as well, Jovin trying to write and keep himself preoccupied. A day or so previously, Jo had to talk Jovin out of doing something really foolhardy, Jovin both thankful and anger that he was talked down. Jovin himself would be looking a little be more tired and worn out as well.
When she clung onto him, he would be very concerned, asking her what was going on and if she was okay, holding her steadly.

Mostly she's just cling, but also explain that the deal was happening that day, and she has to keep herself from getting involved...because she doesn't trust the deal.

Jovin would let her lean against him, holding her gently, unaware of their watcher, Thomas having been drawn out when he heard the lightning, but hanging out of sight once he see's them out there, letting them have a moment.

It wasnt more than a couple days after that, and Jovin was snagged up by Beau from their home to go get himself cured.
...
And a couple days after that, when they were having a conversation about Eli being poisoned instead of over-exerted and the conversation between jovin and Beau. "...you said what?"
She stared at him in disbelief, "...you did that to someone that made sure you got cured?"

Jovin sighs, slumping a bit, looking ashamed. "...I know..." he says softly. "The moment he dropped off, realized that I had fucked up... did try and talk to him but..." he shrugs, sighing "He's not in a good place. Not sure if anything I said really got through" He doesn't mention that he had wanted to say a lot worse, but had restrained himself.
