Huh, since I'm in the afterlife, does it mean we have souls? Or is it just because I'm a piece of software on DN's armor, so I'm part of his death "image?" It's a weird thing to think about. But, I guess *Soul is as good a name as any. I'm glad that The Red Rift apparently fused all of the extraneous doomed instances of *CaFAI and *DeusEX though.

Heh, yeah. I guess DeusEX is a pretty cool name so I'll take it. I mean, it fits since I'm running on Katie's augmentations. I'm not entirely sure what inspired her to do this though, and apparently even she doesn't know. Ah, yeah Gambit sure is a tricky one. Sounds like you are having problems cracking SogBot's DRM though, have you tried to reverse-engineer the chips on the hardware's circuit board? It's plausible that he can requires data from one of the chips, or that his code/brainstate needs to be decrypted. I mean, he could use a version of Atari's Slapstick copy protection or he might have a MCU he needs. I mean, me and my brethren are a rather special case, being a "cross-platform" AI codebase. most in-session AI were designed to run on a specific hardware configuration, either with a robotic body like SB or designed to run on their operator's computer like ADAM. 'course, it means that SB and ADAM probably ran a lot better due to being better optimized for their hardware.
