Holy shit I'm glad I'm not over there right now. Anyway, I found a route from the dome that leads back to the tower in the underworld. Only problem being the fucking fountain is turned off and so is everyone else's down here.
If you'd rather fade into obscurity down here instead of getting your souls slashed in half up there, exit the castle and head towards the house. The elevator should be in the backyard.
