[Area] BL▲CK BUBBLE

There is a long pause. He seems almost distraught, but is doing his best to hide it, cringing and twitching to repress the effects of her words.
And then, he manages to clamp down into a dangerous calm. He looks right past Medi, and with an oddly nonchalant seriousness, he flings the empty chair to the side, out of a stain glass window with a simple hand gesture.

The shattering noise echoes through the grand hall.

"...FINE THEN. YΘU DΘN'T DESERVE SΘMEΘNE ▲S GRE▲T ▲S ME! I DΘN'T NEED YΘU! I C▲N SPEND ETERNITY BY MYSELF!"

As he shakily gets up from his throne, His hair falls out, leaving him completely bald. His legs seem to stretch, making him stand to at least 7 feet tall. The vibrant colors of his suit begin to darken, to a deep abyssal black. The brooch and cravat stay unstained.

The cogs upon the walls begin spinning faster and faster. Small objects and various debris begin to levitate.


A repellent, almost toxic spacey aura seems to be almost pushing Medi away. Link seth is pinned to the back wall of his rectangular glass prison, which shortly after cracks and shatters.
Link seth's spirit hits the floor, and then begins to form a person-shaped outline around it. He appears to be prone upon the ground. He's still weak, but he's trying.

Chronos glares at his still standing guest with fury. Upon opening his mouth, the lips refuse to part and instead holes are torn open in its place!

"BEGΘNE FRΘM THIS PL▲CE! NΘW!"
His voice resonates with sheer power and anger.

He swipes his hand and exerts a strong pushing force against Medi and Link Seth, flinging them down the hall!

Hearing her continuous verbal assaults against him... It almost appears like he's trying to hold back tears? This is soon dismissed and replaced with a great embroiling rage, likely as a defense mechanism.

"HΘW D▲RE YΘU S▲Y TH▲T!"

With that, Chronos teleports to the far end of the hall and forcefully catches Medi with a vader grip on her neck.

He slowly drags her closer, until he can whisper harsh words into her ear.
"YΘU WILL RUE THE D▲Y TH▲T YΘU CL▲IMED I NEVER LΘVED YΘU." A repulsing aura of anguish and rejection ripples off of him.

He then raises her a few feet, in preparation to throw her out a window.

Meanwhile, Link Seth is trying to regain the rest of his form. How could he let something like this even happen?

And with that, Chronos hurtles her through a glass window.
One would think that Medi would be falling at this point, but he has not yet let go of her. Further she goes flying away, until finally reaching the barrier of the bubble.
He exerts enough force to gloop her outside of the bubble.
He waits for her to dissolve painfully in the void...
But it doesn't happen.

"...Did you, seriously think that would work? How the fuck else do you think we found and got to your fucking castle in the first place?" Behind him, link Seth is struggling to stand, most of his color filled in on his form.

Chronos just stands there, arm still extended out.

"You know, there's more important things than you and your shitty romance track record. We were sent here by request of another one of you, from a more valid timeline."

Chronos puts his arm down and glances behind him, towards link Seth.

"..."

"Dad, the void is submerged in a vast dream bubble beyond any comparison. There's fears that these are the ultimate end times. For all of us, even the dead. Somewhere out there, a grand battle is being fought to determine the fate of this shitty dark realm. Are you going to waste your remaining time on your fucking hissy fits?"

Silence for a long moment. He resumes staring off at the broken window in front of him.
And then finally, some words are spoken.

"...CURSE YΘU ▲ND YΘUR CΘLD DE▲D HE▲RT. THESE FUCKING CΘMPLEX FEELINGS H▲VE BEEN NΘTHING BUT TRΘUBLE SINCE I'VE ST▲RTED FEELING THEM."

"Well maybe you should have thought about that before you stole my body."

"...WHERE IS THIS DECISIVE B▲TTLE T▲KING PL▲CE? I MUST KNΘW."

Link Seth tries to remember what he had been told before.
"It's... at the top floor of an elevator, in a main intake bubble known as the underworld."

Chronos takes a moment to think.

Meanwhile, Medi shouldn't be too far from the bubble barrier out there.

Chronos picks up the ethereal flower off the ground with his space powers and holds it just out of reach of his hand. He glances almost wistfully out at the broken window.
"...DΘ YΘU THINK, IF I FIGHT TΘ S▲VE THIS WΘRLD... DΘ YΘU THINK SHE'LL LΘVE ME?"

Link Seth crosses his arms and huffs.
"I don't think she'll ever fall for you. Not after the shit you pulled against her and me. You do know what kind of turmoil she went through after you went out of contact with her, right?"

"IS TH▲T, EVEN REMΘTELY IMPΘRT▲NT?"
Chronos furrows his brow, despite the lack of hair.

Upon hearing that question however, Link Seth just gets mad enough to color in his form once again and begin a lengthy rant.
"...Are you seriously that fucking dense? Relationships are a two way street for fuck's sake! A significant other isn't gonna accept anything from you if you don't care about their feelings! I know you're probably some kinda borderline sociopath or some shit, but come on! You have to care about other people's needs, or else they're gonna hunt you down like they have been since time immaterial. Does any of this make sense?"

A slight pause. The gears turn upon the walls at a steady pace.

"...QUESTIΘN. DΘ YΘU ▲ND THE REST ΘF THE GΘΘDY TWΘ SHΘES BITCHES YΘU KNEW ▲LW▲YS H▲VE TΘ DΘ TH▲T? HΘW THE FUCK DΘ THEY KEEP UP WITH TH▲T KIND ΘF SHIT? IS THERE EVER ▲ MΘMENT WHEN NΘNE ΘF THEM C▲N EVEN T▲KE THEIR SYSTEM ▲NYMΘRE ▲ND GIVE UP ΘN BEING NICE? NΘ PERSΘN ▲LIVE ΘR DE▲D CΘULD PΘSSIBLY C▲TER TΘ THE NEEDS ΘF ▲LL ΘF THEIR CΘHΘRTS, RIGHT?"

"Believe me, it's just as hard as it sounds. The system breaks down all the fucking time. Why else do you think Earth and other worlds always had so many fucking wars and conflicts?"

"I ▲LW▲YS FIGURED THEY ENJΘYED THE BLΘΘDSHED ▲S MUCH ▲S I DID ▲ND DID IT FΘR FUN."

"...Most people don't. But really, it's worth the effort to act at least halfway decent once in a while."

Chronos is staring at the flower intently. There's so much to this that he's never been prepared to deal with before, at least not in his own lifetime. The memories left behind by his hosts offer some possible example, but without a personal connection to them, they seem less useful to draw from. How can anyone stand to have to deal with such impairing emotional weakness?

"...I'VE DECIDED. WE'RE GΘING TΘ THE FIGHT. EVEN IF SHE WΘN'T LΘVE ME, ▲T LE▲ST IT'LL PREVENT THE END ΘF EVERYTHING. M▲YBE I'LL FIND SΘMEΘNE BETTER TH▲N HER, M▲YBE."

Chronos snaps his fingers and enables flying. He lifts his feet up off the ground. Link Seth kicks off the ground as well.

"Don't count on it."
Link Seth flies out the broken window, straight ahead towards the horizon.

Upon being left alone in his grand hall, Chronos snaps and once again tries to disguise himself as another Seth. He puts on a white half-mask over his face. He then grabs the glowing flower out of the air and places it in his breast pocket.

The clock strikes five. The bells are struck five times. By the time it is done ringing, Chronos has already left the castle behind, closing in on the bubble barrier. His starry cape wavers in the light breeze as he pushes on forwards. Link Seth isn't too far behind.

Link Seth and Seth Chronos push through the bubble barrier effortlessly. Upon exiting the bubble, they look around a bit.
"▲H... SWEET FREEDΘM! SΘ MUCH TO DΘ, SΘ MUCH TΘ SEE..."
Link Seth facepalms as his father repeats the same line from that Smash Mouth song over and over, spinning around with his arms out like a child in a candy store.
No idea what kinda child would do that in a candy store, but whatever, close enough.

Upon removing his hand from his face, he manages to spot Medi not too far away.

He flies off towards her.
"Medi!"

"SΘ MUCH TΘ DΘ, SΘ MUCH TΘ SEE SΘ MUCH TΘ DΘ, SΘ MUCH TΘ SEE SΘ MUCH TΘ DΘ, SΘ MUCH TΘ SEE-"

"DAD! We have a fucking problem here! Medi is broken!"

"IS SHE DE▲D?"

"OF COURSE SHE'S FUCKING DEAD, WE WERE BOTH DEAD WHEN WE GOT TO YOUR SHITTY CASTLE!"

"THEN WH▲T'S THE PRΘBLEM?"

Link Seth glares at his supposed parental figure.
".......SHE'S NOT FUCKING RESPONDING! THIS COULD BE SOME SERIOUS SHIT!"

"ΘR IT CΘULD BE ▲ TR▲P. LΘΘKS LIKE ▲ CL▲SSIC TRICK ΘF THE SΘRT."

Link Seth groans. He can hardly believe how out of touch his father is with these kinds of situations. Was he always like this?

"Wait, the flower!" Link Seth remembers something. "We need to give her the flower back!"

Chronos selfishly guards it.

"..." Link Seth holds out his hand, half serious, half exasperated.

It takes him about a minute, but Chronos eventually hands over the flower.

Link Seth grabs it carefully and tries to offer it to Medi.
