"Yeah, let's go."Link seth walks across the bridge and reaches the area beyond the castle wall. 
The figure in front of the crystal ball spies upon the visitors that have passed the first test. "THEY H▲VE ▲RRIVED... MIGHT ▲S WELL H▲VE ▲ BIT ΘF FUN WITH THEM WHILE THEY'RE HERE... HEHEHEH..."
Link Seth continues to walk down the path to the front door. It's just a few yards away. He equips his level 1 scythe as he approaches the door. Who knows what might await the two of them within the walls of his lair...

Medi follows behind him, holding her flower closely.
She could assist him if enemies were a possibility, she even had a proper weapon, but the risk of damaging this very precious item were too high.
She keeps her steps light, careful. Not a sound came from her.

If he knew what was happening, he would have dodged the door swinging back at him, but sadly, he doesn't have any memory of this mistake in judgement. In short, he is hit by the backswing of the doors and lands flat on his ass. After a few seconds, he gets back up and dusts himself off. "...you didn't see that." He turns to Medi. He then opens the door calmly and holds it open for her before entering the castle himself. In this first room, there is a rather long red carpet in an impressive large entry room. The floor is of starry black tiling and long red curtains are draped across the walls. The halls are quite spacious and empty. The lighting is low and minimal, only enough to see where you're going really. A flight of stairs that split off to the left and right are at the end of the long hallway. What will you do?

Medi is becoming more and more nervous by the second.

Medi walks on ahead, going left.

Link Seth lets Medi take the lead as they walk up the hallway towards the staircase. He follows her up the left split in the stairs.
Up and up they go, up the steps as they twist and curl higher and higher.
Link Seth is starting to get bored of climbing.
"How fucking tall are these stairs..."
The stairs continue for quite some time.
There doesn't seem to be an end to them on the horizon, but, a certain song seems to come to mind, almost asking to be given a voice.

Medi pauses. A few minutes later, she turns back and goes down the stairs.

"WHAT A THRILL, WITH DARKNESS AND SILENCE THROUGH THE NIGHT!" Link Seth is belting out a song he doesn't fully understand.
Upon hearing Medi's voice however, he manages to snap out of it after slapping himself in the face. "...that fucking bitchlord... yeah, let's take the other stairs. These stairs are complete bullshit."
He follows Medi back down the stairs. It seems to be taking the same amount of time it took to get up as far as they did before.

After walking back down, Medi goes straight for the other set of stairs.
If her assumptions are correct, this set would...probably do the same thing.
She just had to make sure.

Link Seth follows Medi back down to the other set of stairs and begins to climb them.
It seems to be about the same, but there is one key difference. After about a floor or two, they reach an odd small room with a slowly rotating red spirograph gate. Perhaps some kinda return node. There is also a flight of stairs that goes up further.
Link Seth looks between the options. "What the fuck, a gate?"

"If it leads us backwards, we'll at least know not to take it next time..."
Medi goes on ahead, hopping into the gate.

Link Seth jumps in after her.
The two of them reappear in midair. It appears to be a different room in the same castle. Looking out the rather large windows visible from the current vantage point, it appears they are much higher than before.
Unfortunately, they are also falling, and there is a huge wood chipper 50 feet below, running at full blast, grinding noises quite evident.
A reminder that flying is disabled.
"WHATTHEFUCKISTHISSHITFUCKYOUCHRONOSYOUFUCKINGASSHOLEBITCH!?!!" Link Seth flails and screams obscenities as they descend closer and closer to the log eating machine.
What will you do????

A sudden surge of panic and fear. The spider lilly in her grasp glows with an intense light. She dives towards Link Seth as something red starts to flow out from her wounds, growing with intensity as time passes.
She holds on to him as she tries to push the both of them as far from the machine of murder.

They are pushed to the side by her efforts and it seems that they won't hit the grinder...
But they do hit the edge. The pain felt from the impact reminiscent of previous memories of being hit in similar manners.
Link Seth collides with the edge thing and is overcome by the remembered pain. His grip is quite weak as he tries to hold onto something. In a moment of panic, link Seth's time powers activate and suddenly everything is slowed down to a crawl.
If he doesn't get a grip before he falls any more, at this incredibly slow pace, he will surely fall into the grinder...
