The beast stands amongst the rubble of destroyed earth. Her ribbon like wings fluttering in the wind as her complete body is laid bare. Her eyes are blank and sunken, hiding any form of humanity she might have had left. The jagged teeth in her mouth grind quietly...  |

Raphael squints, as much as a skeleton man can, which is to say not at all in a traditional sense. He does manage to see something far off in the distance.
"HEY, THERES A BARE ASS NAKED LADY OVER THERE! I THINK IT'S... THAT MICHA BITCH OR WHATEVER? ITS HARD TO TELL FROM HERE."
Thoren hears that and is surprised "...What!? Let me take a look." He activates the zoom-enhance mode with his vision.
Sure enough, a figure that resembles a naked Micha is standing there. But from close inspection, it's quite clear that Micha isn't there. Or at least, is submerged far too deep.
Thoren debates whether or not to snap a picture. He decides not to. His fiancee is right there, he doesn't need to save pictures of naked women.
"It is but it isn't... She stands, but Micha isn't home yet." Thoren tells the others.
He was really hoping she would be able to break through earlier.
Maybe there's still hope.

Meanwhile, Jake looks away from his binoculars.
"Wait, did you bang?"
"Jake! That's not something you ask somebody in public!"
"Well someone's gotta ask! One thing for sure, even if she is empty or whatever, that is one smoking hot body there."
"Jake, how old are you?"
"15, why?"
"You're still too young for this!"
"Whatever grannie." Jake rolls his eyes at Niki.

Niki buries her face in her hands, completely embarrassed.
Jake is just grinning in a manner that would seem quite punchable. A few stifled giggles escape.
Meanwhile, Charlotte catches up with Lambda again, standing directly behind her. "Now what are you getting your nose stuck into now?" She smirks slyly.

Rid lowers his sunglasses enough for Katie to see his blank eyes.
"You wanna say that again? I can and will end your life if you make one more shitty comment about my style." He pushes them back up. "You've been warned."
One of the other seths in the crowd react.
"What the fuck is your problem? It's just Katie! We have bigger fish to fry here!"
Rid glares at the unknown lategame seth behind his glasses. "I'm not in a compassionate mood right now. Tell any fuckfaces that want to talk me down to fuck off."
He resumes looking out at the ribbon winged figure far off at the edge of the dustcloud.
Where is Chronos now...

Zwei sighs in relief. Surely he'll keep his promise.
...Aaaaaand then awkward happens. And then the bickering.
"Do you guys mind taking this awkward pervert talk elsewhere? And we have bigger fish to fry here, there's no time for squabbling! I doubt that colorless heir is down for the count just by that moonfall."
Lambda motions Charlotte to keep quiet.
"There is something odd about that automaton. Do you not think he's...peculiar? Well...stranger than what we have already come across in our Time in the Void?"
She takes out a journal, flipping through it nonchalantly.
"His strange attachment to that hornless girl...And who is that nightmarish being beside them? I'm kind of frightened to go and converse with them. But their existences are worth noting, is it not?"

Charlotte chuckles slightly. "Man, I'd thought you'd be done taking notes on everything that moves at this point. You sure proved me wrong." she pats Lambda on the shoulder.
"I guess that robot is kinda weird, considering how temporic-like it is. Who even built and designed something that cutting edge high-tech? I'm willing to bet it was her provider or something. It would explain the protective demeanor to a point. Earlier we talked for a moment and it mentioned his name is Thoren, like the elf slayer from those old stories. Weren't you were always more into those kinda things?"
Charlotte seems to still be testing the waters on hat pronoun to use on "Thoren". She takes a moment to take a look at the... weird spacey eyeball witch thing.
"the b-movie cosmic horror over there though? I have no idea."
after a pause, she says something in a slightly tired tone.
"I think after this is all over we're all gonna need a drink."
Meanwhile, Dylan and Jessica are kinda sharing a moment, hugging eachother. With the current break in the action, it seems they can finally tell eachother about what they've had to go through.
They stop hugging and start talking. Some of it may have been obscured.
"✧ ...latched into a horrorterror's flesh? forced to live and die in agonizing conditions?! and the only reason you're back to normal is that you died earlier today??? Dylan... please promise me you'll never become part of a horrorterror ever again. ✧"
"I promise. Then again, they're probably extinct from the space we can physically reside in. Knowing how one of them works, there's probably a few that hid in extra dimensions beyond our reach though."
"✧ then you're staying out of those spaces, got it mister? ✧"
"...yes flash. I'll stay out of unknowable arcane spaces."
"✧ Good. ✧"
Jessica smiles upon hearing her old nickname. Nobody's called her that in years.

Lambda pouts. "These notes are an important part of keeping our memories and history intact. Having a solid archive of our Time is of great importance to me, you know that."
She finally flips to an empty page and starts to scribble all over it. But as soon as Charlotte had mentioned a certain name, she looks to her in astonishment.
"Wait, did you say that it had called itself Thoren?! That is definitely an odd choice of name for an automaton whose purpose is to protect! There must be something more about him than we can't tell from just simple interactions."
She continues to scribble furiously. "...Perhaps I should gather some courage and actually...talk to them..."
A nervous laugh escapes from her.
"Well...If the passage of Time favors our safety, we can probably treat ourselves to a night of refreshments...Let's hope we find a nice place later."

She glances over towards Thoren. "I know, right? it does have a pretty merciless combat pattern though. Such a puzzle..."
Seeing Lambda squirm out of her element is kinda fun, so Charlotte eggs her on.
"Do it. do it for the vine. You need to get out more anyways. Besides, it's just a Gumdrop Bloodknight final boss, a sleeping rage player, and a protective killer robot. What could possibly go wrong?"

Lambda puts away her journal and breathes deeply in preparation.
"Pray that I don't set them off somehow..." And with that, she slowly, slowly walks towards the peculiar trio.
Meanwhile Zwei seems to be thinking about Eins, due to her extremely worried expression. The amount of worry emanating from her could fuel a truck for weeks.
She looks to her hands-Err...hand.
"...If he does come here...What if...What if I don't hold myself back...? He's done so much...To think that he'd hurt Eins even further..."

"If he deserves it, you won't need to hold back. Just make sure your target is the only thing you hit." Thoren isn't exactly sure who she's referring to, but he figures the advice should come in handy however it turns out.
Soon enough, he notices the temporic seer sloooowly making her way close. Thoren gives her a curious glance. Doesn't seem like a threat. Perhaps he could learn something from her...
