The beast stirs and grunts, slowly picking itself up with bare bone arms and legs. The life in the dirt and plants was gone, but now the ground beneath the beast's feet began to rot and crumble. The null beast howls and pulls in the MATTER from the surrounding area. Mike feels his skin begin to tingle and grabs Remose, backing away quickly from the beast.
"He's not just using Life matter... he's using ALL MATTER!?"
The null beast roars at Remose and Mike before turning it's attention to the Gospel above. It leaps up and claws it's way onto the mirrored world above.

Reentering the area with poorly stifled giggles and a slight stumble to her step the girl braces herself against a tree with one hand, faltering in condition but not in attitude by the somewhat pained smile on her face. "It's really a tenacious son of a bitch, huh...? It keeps going like an energizer bunny on red bull but how much of that is reason and how much is instinct? What does it plan to do once it gets where its going?"
"...Well. It's not like it really matters, we're not gonna let it get there anyway, right boys? Crazy how much thinking mild concussions inspire!" Flicking something on her rifle she levels it from the ascending creature, loading a magazine and prepping it before pulling the trigger, aiming a series of rapid 3-burst rounds at the monster's hands to try and slow it down, or outright make it fall.

"Oh fuck!" Thoren gets the fuck away from the thing after chopping the arms off. He has to come up with a clear strategy fast. It's been a while since he's fought a null user. Let's see, it cancels all aspects and magic, so any time shit is out... wait, flamethrowers aren't magic if it's generated conventionally!
"Unless you bitches wanna get burned, move it!"
While moving about to avoid being hit, Thoren begins charging his hand thrusters. It seems he only has a certain amount of expendable fuel for it, but hopefully he should be able to have enough.
Thoren stands back and aims his palms at the nullbeast. A blast of fire erupts forth, shooting out at least 10 feet.

The null was making it's way up the upside down tower of gospel. It claws digging into the skyscraper's windows and walls. It reaches out towards the big rig before it's hand is blown apart by the burst fire from below. The beast screeches and looks back down at it's adversaries. It leaps down the building, dragging it's claw in it to slow it's descent. Thoren's flames erupt onto the falling beast and torch away it's flesh. The crystals seem to remain and the boney beast hits the orange planet with a loud impact. Just then, a crack is heard throughout the void... Mike looks at the fallen beast and then up at the skies above. Looking carefully he spots it. Between the two gospels and on the horizon of the orange planet, there is a fracture in "space" itself. Mike looks back to the beast who has begun to reform slowly. Because of the lack of life forms near it, the beast's body eats away at the ground and rotted trees and planets. Physically absorbing them all from a distance... It lets out a growl and finally speaks once again.

Patrick quickly flew to the big rig, throwing the drivers side door open and jumping into the seat, pulling the door closed behind him. He quickly flipped the rig around and started reversing farther up the mirror tower, quickly approaching the "bottom" of the skyscraper.

Meanwhile, somewhat far from the action at this point, Niki had ran out of steam on her insayan mode a little while ago. She's not exactly sure what she can really do to help. She looks out at the orange planetoid, now devoid of plantlife. It reminds her of the first time she and Micha had discovered it while following the Beacon's light. It looks far more devastated this time however.
Yeah.... she's not getting anywhere near that thing.
Niki looks up at the stars for a bit. It's been a while since she's seen them in the night sky.
At least it's something.

Upon reading the latest message board post, and realizing just the sheer scope of the danger present, Niki shudders.
This is Really Really Important right now.
But what can she do? She's already used all of her aspect energy on her ultimate luck boosting technique.
She checks her sylladex.
There's a car in here. She totally forgot she had a car in here, let alone a completely self-driving one.
Doesn't seem useful now though so she keeps it packed away.
Most of the things in her inventory are either clutter, basic hygene, first aid, some kinda video game, or some sort of magic-infused weapon. There also happens to be the timespace edgerobe and a stupid scythe she doesn't even know how to use.
there's also the 8-bit zelda boomerang. While she's forgotten how useful it was in it's original game, at least in Link's Awakening it was one of the most useful weapons in the game.
This isn't a game anymore though.
Niki is really kinda freaked out right now.
